This looks like the type of game that'll only get better with time for sure. You made the right choice with that noble demonetization self-sacrifice, it's appreciated. The distant echo on the hills really were hella cinematic.
Imagine: You're lost in the cold void of space. The only thing that remains is black holes, and even then, their energies are waning. The energy produced from the remnants of matter is dissolving, and you're surrounded by nothing but darkness. Alone in the deep cold, you venture into the great unknown in your ship, living in a realm where not even light seems to exist anymore. Yet one day, you're awoken by a sound. Despite sound being unable to travel in space, you still pick up the faint sound of something in the distance, even inside your spaceship. Curiously, your little beacon of light tries to find the source. And as you hear it getting closer, you begin picking out the words: "It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's son, son. It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no!"
!!!! Oh wow! A surprise to be sure, but a pleasant one... Love the game myself, but I freely admit that I didn't expect it getting covered so (relatively) early in it's beta period... (Although I admit whenever I saw you set up checkpoints on your territory I was crying WHERE ARE THE SPOTLIGHTS) And yes...mortar range is beautiful.

I mean that song is about shooting up a school, if I remembered correctly so yes
@@Voron_Aggrav exactly lad…
They took that quote and added it to their advertisement...
14:08 You sved Kyle Hill! Now you can use his superior intellect to engineer a cure!
Legends say that even after the heat death of the universe, you can still hear copyright music echoing in space
And as you hear it getting closer, you begin picking out the words:
"It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no senator's son, son.
It ain't me, it ain't me;
I ain't no fortunate one, no!"
This just in: Rimmy discovers what its like to play any good game with an mp3 in one ear!
This game feels like a fever dream of a modern day version of Kenshi
If that were the elevator pitch, I'd buy it in ITS current state, because that sounds AWESOME!
I’m glad the army finally found a use for the MGS - Killing medium sized monsters
1:40 THESE MEN CARRY THE AMMO. COMPARED TO THEM YOU ARE NOTHING.
!!!!
Oh wow! A surprise to be sure, but a pleasant one...
Love the game myself, but I freely admit that I didn't expect it getting covered so (relatively) early in it's beta period...
(Although I admit whenever I saw you set up checkpoints on your territory I was crying WHERE ARE THE SPOTLIGHTS)
And yes...mortar range is beautiful.
Bought Cepheus Protocol pretty early on and loved it. It's very buggy and unoptimized but the game is in beta and is getting updated frequently
I just love this concept for a zombie scenario. Its not the end of the world and the militaries are actually competent at their jobs, while saving civilians in the hot zones.
I love that Rimmy has a Vietnam playlist for this occasion.
The moment Starship Troopers Noble Sacrifice played and rimmy sang with it gave me absolutly goosebumps starship troopers one of my favourite movies and the game back then was awesome!
Escpecially when you got a full squad for MP and Defend the Outpost Together ah just... old good days
This is the greatest RTS game and meme I've ever seen
its still rough around edges but yes , nothing like it or similar
if i had my hands on this game I would be treating it like starship troopers and have its a good day to die on repeat.
I think I saw Rubix Raptor or Shermanator play an earlier build of this, but the Music makes it 110% better!
The c&c red alert March theme is literally the best soundtrack of an rts ever.
This is a cool looking game, I wonder what it’s called…
RUclips labels this as “Cities Skylines” and for some reason I think that may be a little off…
if I had to guess: cepheus protocol. been keeping an eye on it for a while, but honestly ... this video made a strong argument for it
@@93Avenger93 you are correct. it's in the description.
Nah this looks like the average developing American city
@@catseye7532 yea that’s why it was so hard to colonize America
This is literally just Baltimore what are you guys talking about this isn't a game this is my daily existence.
Ah I see when Rimmy was faced with the question of "which record company do you want to get strikes from" he ambitiously chose "all of them"
Damn. I needed something like this.
It looks a lot like They Are Billions but replace 90s RTS part of it with Company of Heroes.
It's also reasonable optimized. Unlike They are Billions.
2 years later and this is still one of my favourite rimmy videos
Been keeping tabs on this game for a good bit and it's nice to see a competent RTS player take a crack at it
i just imagine as these soldiers are holding the line there just slightly dancing that or just casually chatting to other soldiers
Imagine NOT blasting Sabaton while lighting up hordes of infected... though Hootsforce played so I'm fine with it!
Attack of the dead men would be quite fitting ngl
@@schnitzelfritzel6287 unicorn invasion of dundee...
A single civilian stands alone against the zombie hordes when he hears a sound and sees a Helicopter
THEN THE WINGED HUSSARS ARRIVED
@@alect525 Makes me wonder why does Sabaton almost always makes a either anti German or anti Ottoman song.
Sabaton's got some good vibes; problem is they're too focused on WW2 and WW1 to give us the proper zombie-killing soundtrack we need.
I love how sudden the music cutouts are, and also the dudes T-posing and sliding along the floor with “run through the jungle” blasting behind them.
I'm surprised that Rimmy didn't either set up his troops with a circling helicopter playing Sabaton, Last Stand, or just have a bunch of tanks followed by a helicopter blaring Sabaton Ghost Division
or the newest, Steel Commanders.
Attack of the Dead Men or Shiroyama would be awesome.
They have him quoted in the game advertisement on Steam
"If the music stops the screaming gets loud" Rimmy-Downunder Gaming
I keep looking at this game on steam and ponder if I should get it but there are still so many bugs... but having the Klendathu Drop or the Hell March playing while my squadrons mow down zombies? That might be an argument for it.
4:14 Knowing Rimmy has at least heard of Gloryhammer makes me a happy member of the Hootsforce
THE HOOTSFORCE, NOOOOOOO
The soldiers were asserting their dominance over the others
Honestly for real. Being the boys who supply the ammo, the grunts would get nowhere with out them ;)
Please, I demand more of this.
The T posing slinding troops had me diying
So did spelling apparently

5:20 your tank wouldn't fire because friendlies were near, there is a setting to ignore nearby friendlies when firing, in the top left menu plus a bunch of other settings, like training units to be level 1-5 when recruiting, but higher levels take longer. it's essentially a tweak menu.
Everyone fights... NO ONE! QUITS! FOR THE FEDERATION!
I looked at the game on the steam page, I love how in one of the video's Rimmy's quote is there
I have been hoping you would prey this game, glad to see it happen
6:25 when the klendathu drop hits just right 👌🏻
I watched this live, it was a good time and I'm glad I recommended Mr Blue Sky
8:42 the moment he ask for mortar max range
the mortar team : Y E S, Y E S, Y E S ! ! ! !
"Adrien run!"

Bro this is actually amazing you need to post so much more of this
