JASDF Blue Impulse jet team with Kawasaki T-4 jet trainers - 2024 Iwakuni - Airailimages

Japan Air Self-Defense Force's Blue Impulse aerobatic demonstration team, 11th Squadron, 4th Air Wing, conducts flight demonstrations in Kawasaki T-4 trainer aircraft during Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni’s 45th Friendship Day, May 5, 2024. Since 1973, MCAS Iwakuni has held a Friendship Day open house to foster positive relationships between the air station and its Japanese hosts. More than 113,000 guests were in attendance during this year’s air show, according to a Marine Corps caption accompanying this video from the Department of Defense.
The Kawasaki T-4's top speed is listed as .9 Mach. It has been in service in Japan since 1988.

I saw the JASDF Blue Impulse team at Yakota AB, Japan, when they were still flying the F-86 "Saber" aircrafts. Great show then, great show now!!!
