My sincere apologies for delay in response.
In this case you need to look for only those B-schools which do not ask for LOR. That's the only solution, but there would be only a few B-schools.

What do you think is more beneficial to prepare GMAT vs cat?

To understand the answer to this question, you need to understand the basic difference between both exams.
GMAT is an international-level exam, which means that most B-schools across most countries accept this score for their MBA programs, and most of these programs need some work experience (2, 3, or 5 years) after under-grad. The tenure of these MBA programs ranges from 1 year to 2 years, depending upon the B-school's curriculum.
However, with CAT, even a fresher can get admission to IIMs (2-year MBA) and other renowned B-schools in India. Even some international B-schools also accept CAT.
Apart from this, the exam pattern is altogether different.
There are other differences are well, but I think these are the important ones.
It can't be said which one is beneficial because the choice is yours based on the above factors and a few other factors not mentioned here. Both exams have their own relevance.

You can ask your clients/suppliers/distributors for the LOR.

If you want to make another attempt for the GMAT, please go ahead and try for a better score.
Else, You will most probably be able to convert one among IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow, XLRI, and SPJain, however, do not ignore IIMA, IIMB, and IIMC as well because you never know if your profile suits their requirements you can make a cut.

Sir, can my colleague who was on same pay scale (in PSU) write my LOR?
Note- he later got promoted while i left that job, so his designation is currently senior to mine.

In an ideal world, the LOR should be written by someone to whom the candidate reported at some point in time. In the case of a self-owned business, it can be a client. But I understand where you are coming from.
In case you don't want to disclose your MBA aspirations to your manager whom you actually report to, you can choose another friendly person senior to you who supervised you anytime in the past.

Sir can a tire 3 UG College student get admission of these type of B-school
Hi Arijit,
Definitely they can, there is no doubt about it. Please check the brochure of any of these B-schools, you will find that a huge percentage of the batch every year comprises of candidates from tier 3 UG colleges.
Don't underestimate yourself just because you are not from IITs, DU, or any other Tier1 UG college. If your score and profile are balanced, you can get an admission in these B-schools.
