Hi Avneet, Sorry for the delay in response. GMAT score is valid for 5 years so you can take the examination and use the score anytime within 5 years. Please note that a few B-schools accept GMAT score of last 3 years, so I would suggest you check the website of your target B-school for clarity. Hi Parth, Sorry for my late response. As you know, the GMAT focus started from 07th Nov 2023 onwards, so most of the B-schools admitted students based on the older GMAT score. So, the accepted average GMAT scores published by the B-schools don't give a fair idea, we need to wait for another year to find that out. But, meanwhile, I suggest to secure the maximum you can. Don't restrict yourself to 645, but try the best you can have. I hope this helps. Keep watching.

Rather, it’s decided on the basis of your past experience, or what value your degree/skill set gives to the company to fulfill their needs. Hi Vishal, Firstly, I want to clarify that this 1-year MBA is a regular program only. It’s not a part-time program. You need to be in the campus for a year just like a 2-year MBA program. Hi Abhi, Executive MBA is the one which is not a full-time residential program. So, if you are talking about the evening/weekend MBA programs then let me tell you that placenta are not facilitated by B-schools in those programs. But, if your question is regarding the 1-year full-time residential MBA (which is not a Executive MBA), then the answer is Yes, every B-school that offers this program facilitates placements as this is a regular program. But be mindful that no B-school guarantees placements, neither in the 2-year full-time MBA nor in 1-year full-time MBA, but having said that most of the students get placed in these programs. Hi Ritam, In my knowledge, the only thing which looks to be an issue is 8/7/7. The top 6 IIMs look for more especially when you are GEM. Having said that, now you can’t do anything to improve that. You can only try your luck with a very good CAT score and highlight your entrepreneurial learnings and experiences along with that of the NGO you worked with. This will definitely give you an edge. @@MBABeginners Yes sir it definitely helps. I scored 8.41CGPA in my graduation when I convert it into percentage it comes around 77%. Also I did my 12th and 10th from State board where it is very difficult to score 90%. I scored 85% in 10th and 76% in 12th. But I got a percentile of 91.69 percentile in 12th and a merit rank of 113 in my 12th boards. If I give this context to the interview panel will it help my case? MBA for working professionals does not support campus placements because you are already working somewhere and pursuing MBA part-time in parallel. B-school facilitates placements only in the full-time MBA which are 2year residential MBA and 1-year residential MBA programs. I hope this helps. Keep watching.

Hi Priyatoshdhara, You may not get as many opportunities as your batchmate with 5-year of work experience may get, but show your experience and transferable skills in your resume, and you will get suitable and decent opportunities. There are people with even higher experience who get decent placements. Remember one thing, you may not get everything- desired salary, desired role, desired company, but if you can get a few out of these from the campus, it will pave a way for you after the campus. MBA for working professionals/Executive MBA is designed to impart education to those who can not leave their jobs to pursue higher education and yet want to utilize the knowledge to move up the ladder in the same organization or in a different organization upon completion of the program.
