Can a public sector employee apply . I m a govt. Servant should i go ??
Sir my one more query. In 1 year MBA also do we need to select specialization like marketing, finance, consulting, operations etc or it is overall combination.
Hi,
It is a combination of all the subjects so it is called General MBA. However, you have many elective subjects to choose from, so you can pick the subjects of your area of interest.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
Hi Sir! I got an offer for the PGPM program from SPJIMR and MBA DEM program of IIM Udaipur. I am tilted towards SPJIMR, what do you think?
Hi,
I think the selection should be simple here. IIM Udaipur's DEM program is a specialization while SPJIMR offers General Management. So, you need to choose what you want to pursue.
It is your choice and so your decision.
Hi Sir,
I am a software engineer with 4.5 years exp working in an MNC. After an executive MBA course, will it be helpful in jumping to higher positions in tech companies itself?
Hi Nikhil,
It's not an executive MBA, but a 1-year full-time MBA.
To answer your question with respect to the 1-year full-time MBA, yes, you will get opportunities to move into different roles within the same industry. In your experience, you can probably get into say, Product Manager or consultant-level positions, but roles defer in every company, but you will have multiple opportunities for sure.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
What about MDI Gurgaon's 1.5 yr program, also KJ Somaiya, IMT Ghaziabad, IMI Delhi, XIMB? Are these schools not good, especially MDI Gurgaon considered to be above Great Lakes?
Hi Ashwin,
I have mentioned in the video itself (00:05:55 - 00:05:60 minute) that the list of B-schools that I showed is not exhaustive, which means all the B-schools across India aren't covered.
The B-schools that are in the FT ranking are shown in a sequence but other B-schools do not follow any sequence, so it is on the candidate's analysis to choose any B-school across the country he/she finds better.
Also, the purpose of this video is only to tell the aspirants about 1-year full-time MBA program, not to tell which B-school is better. Of course, there are many good B-schools across the country that a candidate finds better than the ones shown in this list, it's an individual choice.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
Thank you arjith for very helpful and informative video.. some of these mentioned colleges are accepting test at home and few other are not.. could u please make a video on that.. that will be helpful to many aspirants

Hi Sir, your videos are too inspiring and it gives a clarity to us. A big thank You and Kudos . Sir if I am working professional and want to do executive MBA so do I need to prepare for GMAT or CAT
Hi Neha,
Thanks for the appreciation.
For 1-year full-time MBA, you need to prepare for the GMAT or GRE, though a few B-schools also accept CAT as mentioned in the video.
GMAT is the most accepted exam in the B-schools across all the countries including India.

What if I have done masters then still required work experience is minimum 3 years?

Does 2-year fellowship programs runned by the various Central/State Government/agencies like CMGGA (HARYANA), PGGFP (PUNJAB), CMYPDP (M.P.) counted as work experience.

Sir, if I have a low graduation score, will it affect the selection? & till what extend?
Hi Navdeep,
My sincere apologies for delay in response.
As long as you are eligible as per the institute's eligibility criteria, there is no need to worry. As explained in the video, there are multiple parameters for the selection, and you can't change your past. So, focus should be building your profile highlighting your strengths, your GMAT score, and Interview.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
is there any B school in India that offers 1yr mba in India and 1yr foreign programme
Hi,
Not at the top of my mind but you can check programs in IITs because a few of them conduct their programs in collaboration with foreign universities. However, all the programs mentioned in the video have up to 1 month of international immersion.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
What about IIFT Delhi?
Hi Sir ,
Your videos are really helpful.
I have 3.2 years of experience and I am currently working in tech. I am thinking to go for MBA next year so should i prepare for GMAT or should I give CAT this year?
Hi Akanksha,
Sorry for the delayed response. I was on vacation, hence the delay.
At this experience, you shall attempt CAT because as a fresher you will get more opportunities because in low experience many companies show interest in hiring you from the campus. On completing 4-5 years of experience, GMAT is the right option. But if your only target is ISB, then go for GMAT.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
Hello. Is it worth choosing SOIL 1 year mba program which is in gurugram? Kindly enlighten me on this.
haan mera bhi yehi question h
Hellow , im 4 years exp in operations dept power, can i apply for mba program
Hi,
Yes, as explained in the video you are eligible to apply to some B-schools with 4 years of work experience if you already have a valid GMAT score.
With 5 years of work experience, you will be eligible to apply to almost every B-school that accepts GMAT/GRE.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
how good is SPJIMR's PGPM compared to the rest? Is it worth joining?
Hi,
It is a good school, but you should also try your application in other B-schools as well.
I suppose you don't have 1 year regular mba there
If I got placed in some other organisation in campus placement after completing my MBA in sabbatical leave .Do I need to pay for my previous organisation to leave the job ?
Hi Hari Haran,
In my experience, I didn't hear candidates paying anything to the previous organization where they were on sabbatical, because those candidates manage the resignation period in a calculative way, such as, most of the companies which visit the campus give you the joining after a few months of the degree completion, so this gives you some time to resign and serve the notice period in the previous organization, so, candidates calculate and resign as per the notice period.
In case you aren't able to serve your notice period fully, then it depends on your goodwill with your manager who can decide whether to make you pay for that unserved period or to exempt the amount.
Hope this helps.
@@MBABeginners yeah sir this information is helpful keep doing this good work ☺️ Thankyou for you reply 👍🙏
Good morning!! Admission cycle Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 means an applicant can apply for these B schools 3 times in a year / 3 intake are there in a year or a candidate can apply only single time in a year..I mean to say which time in a year a candidate should be ready with GMAT score.. Sir please confirm..
Hi,
The varies in every B-school because every school has a different rule. For example, IIM Lucknow allows you to apply in both rounds but IIM Bangalore doesn't allow you if I remember it correctly.
It's recommended to check the institute's website for clarity.
Though B-schools claim that there is no difference in the process no matter which round you apply in, as per my experience it is better to apply at the earliest because if they have already shortlisted a similar profile in the earlier round then chances of shortlisting another similar profile are less.
Most of the B-schools in India start the application process in July, so it's better to have your score ready by this time. Having said that, all the B-schools have different timelines as mentioned in the video so it's advisable to check the website once.
I hope this clarifies. Keep watching.

Thanks for your insights.

Are there any good colleges available for executive MBA without work Experience?
Hi,
If your question is about a 1-year full-time residential MBA mentioned in the video, it needs a minimum of 2-5 years of work experience to get an admission depending on the B-school.

Does CA Articleship count as work experience for eligibility of 1 year MBA

Unfortunately, CA articles isn’t considered a work experience for 1 year full-time MBA program.
Sir executive pgpm(online) program from great lakes or online mba from amity university which option is good for my career
Hi Sujay,
It's hard to tell this. Both are private institutes, but you can decide which program suits you most in terms of fees, mode of the program, the value of program in your current company etc.
Ultimately, you need to decide, however you can watch my video on Executive MBA for some clarity: ruclips.net/video/qF2YUVxMM10/видео.html

Hi sir! I am appearing for a normal 2 year MBA. Had a quick question. I have my own business(sole proprietorship). I have a trade license and gst registration as well. I have proper invoices depicting my revenue over the span of two years I have been running my business. Can you kindly tell me how will it affect my profile? Coz It's a little different from a typical MNC job. I landed a MNC job in campus placements but did not like it so started my own venture. Have generated a revenue of over 14 lacs. GEM with a profile of 8/7/7. Was a part of NGO as well.
Hi Ritam,
In my knowledge, the only thing which looks to be an issue is 8/7/7. The top 6 IIMs look for more especially when you are GEM.
Having said that, now you can’t do anything to improve that. You can only try your luck with a very good CAT score and highlight your entrepreneurial learnings and experiences along with that of the NGO you worked with. This will definitely give you an edge. These 2 things should come up really well in your profile.
I hope this helps. Keep watching. All the best.
@@MBABeginners Yes sir it definitely helps. I scored 8.41CGPA in my graduation when I convert it into percentage it comes around 77%. Also I did my 12th and 10th from State board where it is very difficult to score 90%. I scored 85% in 10th and 76% in 12th. But I got a percentile of 91.69 percentile in 12th and a merit rank of 113 in my 12th boards. If I give this context to the interview panel will it help my case? Thanks for taking the time to reply to me. Means a lot! 💓
hi
which is easy to crack cat or gmat for executive mba? and minimum percentile required for cat for emba?
Hi Bhupesh,
'1 year full-time MBA' is not the 'Executive MBA' as I have mentioned in the video. If you are talking about 1-year full-time MBA then most B-schools including international schools accept GMAT, though only a few Indian B-schools also accept CAT along with GMAT, so this makes GMAT a trendy exam that most of the B-schools accept. Having said that, the comparison of CAT and GMAT in this context is not worthwhile because for 1 year MBA you should go for GMAT, preferably.
I hope it helps.
@@MBABeginners Thanks for replying
the thing is GMAT exam fee is costly around 14k can't attempt more than once.
so I was asking which was easier to crack CAt or GMAT
and also the minimum percentile required for IIMS in cat for 1 year MBA?
Hi Ajith, the video explanation is succinct and certainly caters to the objective of providing preliminary info about 1 year MBA programs. I posses 14 yrs of work x (7 yrs as an HR in a Fintech Startup, 6.5 yrs in Entrepreneurship: Built 2 manufacturing businesses from scratch + 6 months as a consultant in a boutique executive search firm). I am almost done with my GMAT prep. I am primarily looking for a 1 year MBA program in US. Additionally I am eager to know my prospects for such a program in India. Would appreciate your advice. Thanks
Hi Tushar,
Looks like you have a good profile.
You need to understand that the earlier we complete our education the better - this I am saying in terms of ROI after an MBA and change in Industry or function. This is why in most of the B-schools average work experience is somewhere around 8-9 years in India and abroad. Having said that, if you want to do a job after your MBA, your target should be getting a good GMAT score (~700) so that you can convert IIMA or IIMC for a good ROI. IIMB is tough because they prefer candidates with 5-12 years of work experience. In case you are not able to convert IIMA and IIMC, you can look for IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow, or XLRI for a decent ROI.
Going to the US or any other country becomes risky with this work experience because, at the end of the day, you have to search for a job on your own with some help from the Alumni network, but it's your choice.
Hope it helps. Keep watching.
Sir, I am a working professional in Supply chain domain. I have 5 yrs of experience and I am a Commerce graduate. Please advise best option for MBA to excel in my career. I want to do it in less timeframe in budget. Please suggest.
Hi Gaurav,
You look eligible for pursuing the 1-year full-time MBA from any of the B-schools mentioned in this video. As far as budget is concerned, the full-time MBA fees vary from ~20L to ~45L, so if you qualify for one of these B-schools, you can avail subsidized loan facility from the banks. I have explained all these points in the video itself. There are a few more B-schools that offer a similar program, you can check the websites of MDI and Masters Union and then decide for yourself.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
Sir two question
My work experience is of bihar state electricity board as assistant. Administration profile. Non technical job. Can I apply.
Second question. I will apply for one year study leave, if I get placement, then I will resign after one year. Is that possible.
Pls reply me as soon as possible.
Sir can a MBA graduate from tier 3 college and with work experience can do executive MBA ....if yes then will that be considered as a bad profile ?
Hi Souvik,
Firstly, it's not an Executive MBA, but a 1-year full-time MBA. I have emphasized the same in the video.
Now, to answer your question, if you are willing to have a double MBA degree - one from a tier 3 B-school and another from an IIM, then you can do it. I don't think there is any restriction to it.
It definitely doesn't make your profile a bad profile, rather it will give you an edge during the admission process because you already know the business nuances.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.

Sir my 10th percentage is 46 and 12 th percentage is 50 and i have 4 years of experience as a electrical engineer so if i do one year mba so i got placed in a company or not ? Through college
Hi Aman,
In most companies, placement shouldn't be an issue because they don't ask for 10th and 12th percentage, but most of the B-schools have eligibility criteria for minimum marks in 10th, 12th, and undergrad so I suggest you call the admission office of the B-schools of your choice and check directly whether they will allow you once you have a decent GMAT score.
I hope it helps. Keep watching.

Hi Gopal,

I am working as a senior manager in a PSU Bank since 2013. I want to do Executive MBA from IIM -B. My age is around 38. In my age shall i plan for the same? Wheather will it not be kind of embarrassment face during classes! Kindly guide.
Hi Gaurav,
Firstly, as I explained in the video, it's not an Executive MBA but a 1-year full-time residential MBA.
Secondly, there is no age to upgrade yourself so there shouldn't be any point of being embarrassed. After all, you want to study further for your own reasons with your own finances so there is nothing to be ashamed of. Let me tell you that in every batch there are a few students at your age.
IIM-B prefers a profile with work experience of 5-12 years. If you are eligible, feel free to score in the GMAT and apply for IIM-B and other IIMs. In your experience, I guess that you can get into IIMA, IIMC, IIM-Indore, and IIM Lucknow an XLRI though I am not very sure about IIM-B considering their preference for candidates having 5-12 years of work experience, and I believe you would have some prior experience as well. But, there is no harm in applying to all these B-schools.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
Hey, thanks for answering my previous questions as well.
Are Executive MBA and 1yr MBA not the same thing?
If not, what's the difference ?
Hi,
1-year full-time MBA is a program in which you need to stay at the campus and study there full-time. You get placement support (in the Indian context).
Executive programs don't need you to be on campus and can be done over the weekends (varies as per institutes' curriculum) with no placement support.
There are other differences as well but these are the main ones.
I hope this clarifies. Keep watching.
Im 25 now and by the time i get 5 years of work experience ill be 30. Suppose i get a one year mba will my age go against me if i want to get into consulting?
2) I've heard placements are not preferred for one year mba students except ISB? Is this true?
Hi,
Since you are 25 years old, haven't you started working yet?
Firstly, you need not wait for a 1-year MBA programme because you can attempt CAT or similar other exams and pursue a 2-Year MBA programme. If this doesn't suit you then you can write your GMAT and try for ISB once you have 2 years of work experience; else try for IIM Ahmedabad once you complete 4 years of work experience. After completing 5 years of work experience, you will have other options as well, so your experience of 5 years at the age of 30 doesn't restrict you from consulting career. But it is also true that the later you pursue your MBA (say after 8 years of experience), having an opportunity in Management consulting becomes tougher.
To answer your 2nd question, I am not sure where you heard this about placement from. My suggestion is you go to the placement links I have mentioned in the description of my video and then see for yourself and then make an opinion. Facts are always required to come to a conclusion. All top B-schools have a good placement record, but if your question is about the number of companies in a 2-year MBA vs a 1-year MBA, then there is a simple answer to it. 2-year MBA is a much larger batch in every B-school, so obviously there we see more companies (in number) participating in the placements. ISB only has a 1-year MBA with a batch size of approx 900 so obviously to cater to such a larger batch they invite more companies (big and small). But it doesn't mean only they give preference to placements and not other B-schools.
I hope I could clarify in the best way possible. Keep watching.

Hello
Actually I have been doing business from past 3 years but lately it has gone down so planning for a one year mba. My problem is that since most of my business was on cash I don’t have any sort of slips or itr to show as a proof for business. So will my work exp be considered in that regard ??
Hi Gopal,
There needs to be some proof of your business. If it was a registered one then there must be some documents to prove it. ITR can be filed for past years, check with a CA and try to get some help to get some proof for the same. Otherwise, how will any B-school consider it as an experience, just think from their perspective?
Thanks. Actually it is a registered business just that I am not drawing any salary out of it. I am filing itr but I haven’t shown myself as the employee of the company. So what happens in that scenario ??
I also hv same thing... My business is registered under the name of my mother.. I have been filing gst returns and income tax returns.. I can take everything from my CA.. but haven't withdrawn any salary..
But I am going fr GMAT..let's see how things go
Hi Gopal,
You have ITRs, so it shouldn't be a problem. I suggest you talk to the admissions office in the B-school and check with them directly for more clarity. You can get the contact number on every school's website.
I hope this helps.
Hi Shivangi,
You have ITRs, so it shouldn't be a problem. I suggest you talk to the admissions office in the B-school and check with them directly for more clarity. You can get the contact number on every school's website.

Bhaiya my profile is not that good can i get good b school with good GMAT
Hi Siddartha,
Many people think that their profile is not that good, but the moment they start writing down everything about them on paper they realize that their profile is not as bad as they thought initially, so I suggest you first write down everything about yourself without leaving even the smallest point. I am sure, many things will come out of your profile.
Having said that, target a good GMAT score (around 700) and you will be able to get into one of these top B-schools for sure.
Hope this helps.

It would be right to do 1 year MBA from O.P Jindal Global University from upgrad??
Hi,
I don't have much idea about upgrad programs, so you need to do your own research.
@@MBABeginners thanks for your response.
can you tell me about the IIM C online emba , placements and downside all those?
Hi,
I don't think IIM Calcutta offers any online MBA program, but other top IIMs do offer it. However, IIM Calcutta offers MDP (Management Development Programs) and LDP (Long Duration programs) but these are not MBA programs.
You can watch this video about online MBA from other top IIMs: ruclips.net/video/qF2YUVxMM10/видео.html
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
Very nice & informative video.. I am currently 35 years of age with 12 years of experience.. Please guide if there are students with 35 years of age in exec MBA batch or I have to sit with kids of 25 years age only..
Hi,
First of all, I would like to correct you on this. This is a 1-year Full-time MBA program and not an executive MBA program, I have emphasized it in the video. Coming to the age and experience level of the cohort, even the candidates with 18 years of work experience join this program across all top B-schools, so there are many with similar age and work experience in the cohort. You can check the brochure/website and the placement reports of these institutes for more clarity.
I hope it helps.
Sir any other top B school apart from these list which offer 1 Year MBA or these many colleges have 1 year MBA program.. I mean for average profile aspirant like IIM bangalore only accept up to 12 year experience student ..IIM A,B,C might be too difficult to get in. XLRI also looks for good academics, SPJAIN also..My 10th- 84%, 12th- 69.4% and B.Tech- 61.9%..
Hi,
Please don't worry much. :)
Looks like you have many assumptions even before starting your GMAT journey, but I suggest you start giving your best shot for the GMAT and try for a good score. Worrying so much without making an attempt won't help. B-schools consider many parameters to select a candidate so the focus should be to control the controllable. If you have a good GMAT then there are chances even in these top B-schools.
However, to answer your question, you can try for MDI (18-month PGDM-BM) and Master's Union (1 year but no degree or diploma, only certificate).
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
There is any major difference between PGP certificate or MBA degree like PGP certificate are less valuable compare to MBA degree like that, i hope you understand what i am trying to ask you 😅
Hi,
If it is ISB, then there is no worry with the PGP certificate they offer because their program is a very reputed program in India and abroad. But otherwise, a certificate is just proof that you have done some course, it's not similar to an MBA degree or PGDM.
Rest, I suggest you google to find the difference.
Hii sir ... Placement milta hai kya sir regular jasha...
Hi Vishal,
Firstly, I want to clarify that this 1-year MBA is a regular program only. It’s not a part-time program. You need to be in the campus for a year just like a 2-year MBA program.
Now to answer your question, Yes every B-school facilitates placements for this program as it’s a regular program.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
If i have 14 years experience can i do EPGP from IIM Bangalore?
Hi Faraz,
You can apply there but their preference is between 5 and 12 years of work experience, but there is no harm in applying and trying for it.
Hope it helps. Keep watching.
Comparing IIM L & K 1 year program which one is better?
Hi,
There are a few differences between both 1-year programs which are visible from outside.
IIM-K's is a very new program compared to IIM-L's program.
The average age and work experience of candidates in IIM-K are less than that of IIM-L which means the cohort of IIM-K is comparatively younger.
Since IIM-K program is comparatively new, support from their placement office/management is more to promote the program (as per internal sources). But this doesn't mean that other IIMs are not doing anything in this regard, it's just that they are improving their programs which are mostly in auto-pilot now.
I can only tell you the differences but can't say which one is better because there is nothing good or bad about both the B-schools, rather it is your requirement based on which you need to decide the best-suited option for you.
I suggest you check both schools' brochures, talk to Alumni, and then decide.
I hope this helps. Keep watching.
@@MBABeginners Thank you for the valuable info.

Hello sir.
Thank you very much for bringing out many points in perspective. I am working under MEA, GOI including foreign assignment; for past 8 years and planning to make a switch.
I am looking for jobs in India only. Sir, can you please guide on, whether government employees be enrolled for such course. Thanks in anticipation
Hi Tushar,
Yes, there are many candidates who switch from these types of Govt jobs to the private sector after completing their MBA.
You can definitely go for this program.
@@MBABeginners Thank you sir..and how about on campus placement prospects?
Hi Tushar,
Campus placements are open for all the candidates in these institutes unless you have taken sponsorship from your previous organization to pursue an MBA.
For median and mean salaries, please check the placement records of these institutes from their websites.
I hope it helps.
Hlo sir it is worth do EMBA from DY patil
Do you mean D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune? If yes, as far as I know, it offers 2 year MBA program (regular and online). If you are talking about the online one, then you need to first clarify what you want out of that online program, is it a good-paying job after that? Or do you want to continue with your existing career/job with an additional degree in your profile?
@@MBABeginners YES NOT PUNE NAVI MUMBAI NEW PROGRAM START ONLINE EXECUTIVE MBA 1 YEAR IN HEALTH CARE .....I WANT GOOD JOB AFTER MBA AS I WANT TO SWITCH IN HEALTH CARE MANGEMENT
Can it sector employee do this one year mba course?
Hi Seema,
Yes, definitely.
If you see the brochure of any B-school, you will find that most of the candidates belong to the IT sector because of which the program becomes very competitive to get into because there will be many students with similar IT profiles applying in the same B-school. Being an IT professional, your GMAT and profile need to be a differentiator to get the admit.
I hope it helps. Keep watching.

Self-employed as a farmer can get admission in one year program. gap 6 year after graduation please help me sir .
Hi,
Is your farming business registered? If you have self-employment proofs then there shouldn't be any problem because you can show it as a business.
My father owns agricultural land iam just a farmer
Not registered
Hi,
In this case, you can prepare for exams such as CAT, XAT etc and try admission in a 2-year full-time MBA in all these institutes and many other B-schools as well because most of the 2-year MBAs don't need any prior work experience. Most of the B-schools call this program PGP.
I hope this helps.
I m looking for Great Lakes, pls make a vdo on this too

How is Jio Institute for PGP AI & DS ??
Is it worth it to Join Jio Institute ??

Honestly, I don't have that much idea about this program at the Jio Institute, Mumbai. I suggest you talk to the admissions office of the institute and alumni from the same institute to get more clarity.

Please share your details on my email ID mentioned under channel description, and I will look into it and respond to your questions.
Hlo sir ,,, without experience,,one year mba h kya??
Hi Deepika,
No, unfortunately, there is no such full-time MBA.
You need some experience to be eligible for this programme.
I was and employyee in cs firm for 3 yr and currently ca firm 2 yrr i have package in ca firm 2 lakh
I think to go for executive working mb form kj somaiya institute
It will help me to get better package after doing executive mba ?? Or wait to get some more experince by going corporate
Do they consider internship as work ex??
Hi Ramana,
Unfortunately not. Internships, part-time and contractual jobs are not considered work experience.
Hi... I have more than 5 yrs experience in family business... But now I am looking to enter into corporate and mainly consulting or product management roles... Should I go for 1 yr role specially seeking into consideration I need a switch at age 32
Hi Shivangi,
In most of the B-schools, the 1-year program doesn't have an upper age limit, even if they do, 32 is not a problem. I have seen people in their 40s enrolled in this program, so don't worry because age is not a problem. You can try for either of the two roles, it's just that during campus placements you need to create your CV in such a way that reflects an understanding/experience of either role which you would have gained in your family business. Every year people with experience in family business enroll in these programs across most of these B-schools, so your past experience would suffice. You need to focus on GMAT for now which you can start by seeing my video on 'GMAT preparation'.
Hope this helps.

Hello Sir
Great Videos....I am a Merchant Navy Officer sailing with World Oil and LNG Major Chevron with 9 years of International sailing experience...Gmat is 570...Are there chances to make it to any decent 1 Year MBA B-School with this kind of profile and GMAT Score ? Will be really grateful for your insights !! Is there any other way to connect with you ?
Hi Ashvinder,
Please share your query over arjit.social@gmail.com and I will respond there.
Hi .. I Have 4 yrs of work experience as a software developer. My 10th score is 9.6cgpa and 12th is 70% . I have done btech in biotechnology and received 7.5CGPA overall. So considering my profile can you suggest me what should be my target gmat score if i aim for IIMs
Hi,
There are many people who have this common question, so thanks for asking this.
All the B-schools need a decent academic background, looks like you have it, so it's good news.
You should always aim for a higher score (around 700) to be in a safer spot, so that should be the target no matter what. Having said that, please watch my video on 'Average GMAT score for top B Schools' if you haven't yet, and then based on the average GMAT scores mentioned you can target your B-school and so your score.
Hope this helps.
@@MBABeginners yes it does helps thanks for this and just a suggestion like can you make a video on how to make our profile good for top B schools. Since only GMAT score is not the deciding factor in getting admission
Biotech and then software development, how?

What about fms, iift , mdi ? Don’t they offer 1 year mba ?
Hi,
MDI offers 18-month programs which are PGDM-BM and PGDM-PPM which need a minimum work experience of 3 years and a valid GMAT/CAT/XAT score. However, I am not sure about the average score they require, so I suggest you call the school directly to clarify this.
FMS doesn't offer a 1-year program, however, they offer 2-year evening programs. You can check their website for clarity.
Similarly, IIFT doesn't offer a 1-year program, however, they offer weekend programs. You can check their website for clarity.
