Hi, I have one year of work experience in a startup of web development but coming to skills can I still emphasize on skills a quired during my under graduation or especially high schooling? Or its good if I emphasize more on professional skills of my job in one year?
Ma’am, In writing the essays,Is it necessary to keep short term goals aligned with historical roles offered by companies in ISB placement over the last few years? Is it a blunder to state a particular role that ISB is not much famous for (but still comes) as a B-school but has got absolute relevance with my career so far?
Hi Soumi, I wanted to apply in the 2nd application round of ISB as I'm yet to take my GMAT exam. Are round 1 candidates preferred/probably selected more in number than other rounds or is the selection criteria and number same across all rounds and doesn't make a difference?
Ma'am I have one query, can we shift from management consultant to investment banker & vice versa Can we shift from investment banker to corporate finance job? What skills are required to join corporate finance job after MBA (Finance)
Hi Ma'am!! Thank you for this wonderful content. Right now i am going through some serious mental crisis. Actually, i recently passed my 12th and performed way under my expectations and capabilities. I always wanted to do an MBA for IIM ABC or ISB. I have: 10th : 95.6% 12th : 76.2% (PCM) What should be my roadmap ahead to get in these tier 1 MBA schools. I am thinking of a CA ( in a hope that it could compensate for bad 12th) or should i opt for btech and get good undergrad scores. Will it help?? Please reply, it'll be a great help. Thank you so much.
Hi Somi! Your videos have been extremely helpful as a business student navigating my career. I just have a question regarding a potential resume for a consulting firm. I'm looking to apply for the yls program in ISB. Currently, I'm pursuing my BBA (honours) in Bangalore. Since MBB firms tend to look at the brand value of the undergraduate colleges I was thinking that I should possibly pursue a masters in finance before the ISB PGP from a tier 1 college since my undergrad college is considered as tier 2 or 3. But I wanted to know if this would be necessary or would simply making the best out of the 4 years of my bachelor be more beneficial? Thank you!
Can you please make a video on YLP 2023 stage 1 essay and YLP application and insights in general. It will be really helpful
