We’re going to start our first year homeschooling this fall. It’ll be kindergarten with my 5 year old son and my then 1 year old son running around lol. I’m terrified and excited. We’ve already picked a unit study and a field trip based on my son’s curiosity with bees! I did well in public school especially academically and I loved reading and learning and I wished I could spend more time learning about those things. So I’m excited to learn more alongside my son!
Yay! Congratulations. That's so exciting! I was terrified and excited too when I started....even though I had blogged and written a book about it before I started! I suspect your kids are going to get a great education. You sound like you intend to be really involved with thier studies. Good work mom!
Your final statement was priceless. Thank you!
Haha...thank you.
I seriously love watching your videos. Thank you for all your content, it's been enjoyable and informative! :)
That's so lovely!
I’m saving this video as a link in my phone so the next time someone tried to tell me to put my kids in public school I can airdrop this video link to them😘🤣
Love it! Thank you :)
I love this video so funny and super informative. God bless you!😂😊
Glad you enjoyed! I didn't have much of a response to it, but enjoyed making it so much !!!
Love these! What a fun video 😆
Yes! Thank you. It was fun to make :)
What were the recent changes to the QLD home-schooling laws?
I want to know if the pygmies had marshmallows. I went to a government school and nobody ever told me.
Hahha... love that.
I think youre wrong. We live in the US and they still took money for Public Education diring COVID.
Yes, they did for tax-funded public school at home. But those who homeschool --- private, parent-directed home-based education -- do not take your tax dollars. Some are pushing tax-funded ESAs for tax-funded private schools and homeschooling but this is a bad idea. It is anti-liberty and anti-scriptural. It will bring the government into homeschoolers kitchens and bank accounts. Fight tax-funded ESAs and vouchers which are simply education welfare.
