Swiss engineer with German accent, dropping Newton weight measurements in the explanation. That’s the most beautiful and stereotypical review I’ve ever seen.
@@gregkollaeg2365 uh this isn’t a metric versus imperial system issue. Newtons are a unit of force. Not like pounds or kilograms as units of mass. USA uses Newtons too and hardly ever uses the imperial pound-force unit.
@@gregkollaeg2365 correct. But using newtons to express trigger weight rather than kilograms or pounds is a very “engineer” thing to do. That was my point.
25 mm is about an inch so 30mm is just a little over 1 inch groups 1.18" at 27.3 yards or 82 feet. that's smoking hot accuracy and precision. That trigger looks amazing.
agree, just never goes out of style I was so hooked on buying a striker fired pistol for months and still ended up with a CZ Shadow 2 (which i now slightly regret after finding out about Arex, their pistols look sick)
These grips look sick. I always love their stuff and even considered one for carry but lack of holsters is big suck. I'd like to pick one up as a fun toy at some point though.
I feel like half of the comments didn't watch the entire video lol. "It looks like an X-series" Well yeah, The guy who did the sig X series is the one being interviewed lol. It's obvious he has a style. I also love how politely he dropped what some of us who own sigs, looked at new sigs have been saying. "We will not be on the level of sig (Pricing), But quality wise I think even more." - 5:34 Sig's prices have climbed drastically and the quality is not represented in the product for the price.
@@benfuct5880 Facts, I own 2 sigs and 2 arexs along with buying an arex for my brother. The arexs stomped my two sigs in fit and finish. The only sig that I don't own but would want is the P210 which that's setting a high bar on most production handguns.
Must have missed them. Just there at EnforceTac? Looks like Tim Castagne gave them a good direction and brought over some of the former Sig talent to get this line on track. They'll kick some ass in competitions depending on the pricing. What mags do they use? The Interchangable beavertail is fantastic! Makes it very interesting for different draw techniques and hand sizes. If they can, they should add that to other pistol lines too. The stock options can be huge if a printed adapter can make it fit several chassis systems. One of the upsides is we don't need a damn tax stamp.
The first Gen didn't look aesthetically pleasing, but this Gen 2 looks amazing and all of the features and functationality is crazy and truly innovative. Good for Arex!
Hopefully these get more coverage than just the group factory visit to promote the original alpha. I wondered if they would ever update it since the zero and delta both have seen updates.
As an IPSC shooter who likes heavy steel DA/SA, guns, this video has gotten me stoked. I just hope these dont cost and arm and a leg. If it only costs an arm then ok. 😅
Hi-Vis color frame and slide is actually an excellent idea. If someone falsely accuses of brandishing and he says black or silver, he is 90% right. Cop will give accuser credibility. If the tool is not black or silver, that is get out of jail free card.
Where's the Zero 2 optics ready, tactical, and compact models they promised over a year ago?? We love you James but we don't think you should give them coverage until they come through on their promises... That being said I want to keep the faith because I love my Delta 2m and Zero 1S tactical!
I'll take the green one, with some black and white sprinkles on top. Seriously, though, I'd like to have an optics ready Alpha, or even Zero 2T. And 30 mm is about 1 1/4", which would be quite good.
😂😂😂💦💦💦💦 My man danced around that price like a figure skater. He never did hit us with a number..🤣. Reminds me of the dude in charge setting the rule changes ‼️
Very nice pistol, all metal rulez for lower recoil and durability. I shot both polymer striker fired pistols and all metal with external hammer... for me and especially for IPSC I strongly prefer all metal with external hammer. ...but I will choose an all metal pistol, premium quality also for personal protection, just in 4 inches size, the most versatile 👍 It would be cool to have the sport Arex with external extractor (like the tactical) and the tactical with the sport manual safety, better shape. An other evolution will be the addition of a rear steel plate 👍 for quick disassembly and inspection of firing pin, instead of elastic roll pin 👎... firing pin get a lot of wear both from shooting and dry fire on snap caps (the best are polymer and brass base made👍, not aluminium 100%👎). Removal of firing pin safety and decocker will be nice also for simplicity and reliability. I also shot the tactical model in Slovenia, very cool experience I liked it a lot, very kind people 😃🙏 Very nice to see some brands bringing back quality, in a market full of crap and marketing... Nice job, keep it evolving 👍 🇮🇹
Looks like a Sig P226 X-Five clone. Not necessarily a bad thing as I have heard unflattering things about US made Sig quality. Some clones surpass the originals like Tanfoglio higher end models compared to CZs.
Why are their so many Hand Gun Manufacturers in Europe when almost no one there is allowed to Own or Posses them?... Law Enforcement dont even usually have them while on duty and I know European Governments are not purchasing any great amounts of Hand guns.... Is the Export Market keeping them a float?... I'm genuinely curious.... How do they stay in business.....
1. Europe is a continent with differend countries and different laws. 2. In most countries in Europe its legal for civilian to own guns. 3. Most innovation in firearms technology comes from Europe. 4. Don't get your information from Fox News!
You can see what he picked up from Sig…these guns really look like x-series…I’m not sure for the build quality but hey, I did’t see it live like James did…😒
Kinda hard to ask about anything in advance when these videos pop up. There's gotta be a direct way to throw some questions your way ahead of time so when these interviews happen there's a remote chance of them being addressed. Otherwise it's a complete waste of time watching.
I absolutely love my rex zero 1 but these things are absolutely goofy looking someone played way too much dick hunt as a kid I understand they are competition pistols but damn guys come on

German is the language spoken by the majority of Swiss.
The fact they open source grips is very cool most companies don't do that or charge

Arex is making some awesome guns! So glad to see them driving innovation and quality - and reasonably priced!
That beaver tail idea is brilliant!!!!
I love Arex handguns!! Price, features and overall execution on them is outstanding!
The level of elegance he used to not answer the price was top notch.
"Small" company, big heart!!
Publishing specs so people can print their own beaver tails is a nice touch.
It's Nerf or Nothin'

How he wins every nerf war with this one trick.
yeah make sure you pointed at a cop in public and see what happens... xD

Search "Battle gnome solutions". They are a Slovenian based company so they do have holsters for all Arex models.

Any updates on the Zero 2 optic ready or compact models?

The best of SIG engineering and leadership went to AREX. The last SIG (Germany) CEO now leads AREX. You want that old SIG quality? Buy an AREX.
I love those colors!! So cool
And then people get mad when cops shoot kids with orange toy guns
A ported or compensated version would be sweet
I love my Alpha,..hottest thing from Slovenia since Melania! I always wished it was optics ready,..now it is!
I love the fact that they release the information for people to print different parts
Love it
a great very interesting neat delicious video and pistols Mr James.have a good one Mr Reeves.
If the zero 2 is anything to base my expectations off of, these should be great.
I love bright colored things but on guns I generally avoid that. They look way to much like toys.
Came here to say this exact thing.
Well he did compare it to a bugatti and you kind of want that to sparkle. This is a high end instrument for precision shooters.
That trigger is crazy nice
I need some of these
So they hired the guy who made the Sig P226 X-Series…And had him make it again?
no.
My Arex is far nicer in fit and finish than any recent sig products.
@@benfuct5880 Facts, I own 2 sigs and 2 arexs along with buying an arex for my brother. The arexs stomped my two sigs in fit and finish. The only sig that I don't own but would want is the P210 which that's setting a high bar on most production handguns.
Lego grey firearms. Heck yeah!
