Buck great work! I got into leather working a couple months ago and it’s truly rewarding. I’m 71 and my grandchildren always thought I could fix anything. Now I’ve been making Body Purses for my granddaughters and belts for my grandsons. The smiles on their faces is all the gratitude I need. Richard

Your honesty is much appreciated in regards to stating what steps you outsource.
There's so many leather businesses (or other craft trades) that are not honest or outright deceive people into thinking they are solely responsible for every step in producing hundreds or more of handmade items a month (just as a rough an example).
Honesty like that from Stock and Barrel Co is of such importance, it gives other leather crafters a more realistic outlook when we aspire to other businesses and what we are individually capable of with just our own hands or if we aspire to outsource some steps to rise in production, as there is a limit to what one person can physically make themselves.

I ordered the No. 68 'Buck Brown' Western vertical wallet on Friday or Saturday and just arrived today in less then a week, though I am two states over. I have to say watching you make your product is amazing. Having the wallet and getting it in hand to see up close and feel the craftsmanship, quality, and detail that goes into the wallet is out of this world. I am hands down in love with my new wallet, thank you.
If anyone is hesitant in buying stock and barrel whether its a wallet or bag, don't be hesitant just buy it. You will not be disappointed in your purchase from Stock and Barrel. Everything you could ever want is in these leather goods. Thank you again for the wallet and making awesome videos. Please continue doing what you do in your videos and leather work.

Broooooooo, that barge bottle tip is gold. Thank you so much. Ironically just this morning I dumped my can of barge into a large mouth airtight container to try something different. I hate the stock bottle/brush setup and the weaver tub isn't much better. I was racking my brain on what I could do because I was tired of going through brushes and getting glue everywhere. This bottle ID is absolute genius. Thanks, Stock!

Dude! I had a shoe shop for 9 yrs. All I used was Barge CONTACT CEMENT. I glued up 23 pairs of heel and half soles before 10:00 a.m. and had to take a walk around the block for half an hour. Contact cement is not rubber cement! love your work. stole something even on this one. You ‘re so much fun!

Helllo tysm i love that you incorporate your family in your videos. i am a woman that has limited amounts of money since my husband died. wish i could buy the patterns for your items. i will try my best to make my own. just started leather working. so i am using scraps of what weaver sent to me free. i have made little name tags with the tooling. my boyfriend said they are great but not like a pro. i will get the hang of it. i have watched all your videos and enjoy the energy you put in them. makes me want to see it over and over to get the matrix of knowledge. ty for taking time and showing us step by step. trying to get out of caregiving which i have done forever, to get a business of leather. dont know what area of leather i am going to do..probably small things first and get the tooling down. but with the videos you supply i am sure in some months i will get it down. i was a graphic designer, now i am going to put that into tooling. well if you can help me find a place for veg tan sales for cheaper would be great. but i dont know if you answer these comments. ha. have a great day and keep the energy and positive imput going. you are doing great.

I love your videos. They’re informative and fun to watch. I’ve been trying to make a trifold wallet and a card holder from start to finish, without relying on somebody else’s patterns or templates. I want the finished product to be about 3.5 in closed but I can’t seem to get the total unfolded length right when cutting the outside panels. I’ve made a pattern on illustrator and made two prototypes out of upholstery vinyl before buying a piece of leather. Always too short or too long. Any pointers?
