Thanks, just got my own board (same as yours) and using it with a 3W RGB scanning laser that seem to have DMX-E (6ch) and DMX (34ch).. are there any of the DMX channels that control brightness (power) so you can dim it down a nudge.?
Congrats on getting your new board! For your 3W RGB scanning laser, you can usually find the channel assignments in the laser's manual. Typically, one of the channels should control the master dimmer or brightness. It varies by model, but it's often within the first few channels. I get he put one light channel 1 to scanner one and the other light to scanner two on channel 17 but he didn't show how to program it. The first thing you do and everybody skips it. Just found out why I can't figure anything out on my controller , there's a switch on the back that's not in the manual
Thankyou

One question I have is can you change the faders to specific addresses on the light, for instance, if Im using a light that has RGBAW, BLacklight, Strobe, and other effects, can I not just cut it off right after RGBAW, and only use the 5 DMX channels / faders? Basically turning the 6th fader to begin the next light at its R space? Hope that makes sense.
Depends on the fixtures. Most newer fixtures have different modes. My Pars have a 5 channel or 11 channel modes, for example. You can select which mode you want the light to run.
I understand your question! Unfortunately, most DMX controllers, including the CO-Z 192 DMX 512 Stage controller, don't allow you to reassign faders to specific channels in a custom order. DMX operates on a continuous channel assignment, meaning you can't skip channels or reassign them arbitrarily. Each light will use its designated channels consecutively. If your light uses RGBAW on channels 1-5, you'll need to use channels 6-10 for the next light, rather than starting the next light at channel 6.

How can you fade in and out scenes one at a time? (Using this lighting desk in a theatre context) I have 3 scenes programmed and would like to fade them out at the end of a scene. I don't need any chases. How would I do this?
Great question! To fade in and out scenes one at a time on your CO-Z 192 DMX 512 Stage controller, you can use the fader controls for each scene. Set the fade time for each scene using the appropriate fader, and then manually adjust the fader to transition smoothly between scenes. How can you adjust the light intensity in automatic mode?
To adjust the light intensity in automatic mode on your CO-Z 192 DMX 512 Stage controller, you'll typically need to access the settings menu on your lights. Look for a setting that allows you to modify the intensity or brightness. Some lights have built-in dimming functions that you can control through their onboard menu. Additionally, if your lights have a "master dimmer" channel in DMX mode, you can adjust this channel to control the overall intensity even when in automatic mode.

How do I make all 4 mini ledspot. Xpcleoyz have the same #? 3 spots have A001 and the 4th spot has A006. I want them to all be A001. Advice?
To set all 4 mini LED spots to the same address (A001), you need to manually adjust the DMX address on the fourth spot. Usually, this is done through the menu on the light itself. Navigate to the DMX address settings and change the address from A006 to A001. This will ensure all your lights respond to the same DMX signal. This controller has no midi imput but there is a midi button. How do you set this up to get midi to control it?
If the CO-Z 192 DMX 512 Stage DJ Light Controller Lighting Mixer Board Console has a "MIDI" button but no physical MIDI input, it's possible that this button is simply used to toggle MIDI control on or off.
However, if you want to use MIDI to control the lighting controller, you will need to connect a MIDI interface to the controller's DMX input. Here are the general steps to set up MIDI control:
Connect a MIDI interface to your computer or MIDI device.
Connect the MIDI interface's MIDI output to the lighting controller's DMX input using a MIDI-to-DMX adapter cable.
Configure your MIDI software or device to send MIDI data to the lighting controller. This may involve selecting the correct MIDI channel and setting up MIDI mappings to control specific DMX channels.
Use your MIDI device or software to send MIDI data to the lighting controller, which will then translate it into DMX signals to control the lights.
It's worth noting that not all lighting controllers support MIDI control, so be sure to check the user manual for your specific controller to determine if this is an option. If your controller does not have a physical MIDI input, you may need to use a DMX-to-MIDI interface instead.
I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any further questions!

How do you get out of chases and scenes ?
In the context of the CO-Z 192 DMX 512 Stage DJ Light Controller Lighting Mixer Board Console, a "chase" is a sequence of lighting effects that are programmed to play in a specific order. A "scene" refers to a specific lighting setup that is saved in the controller's memory for quick recall later.
To exit a chase or scene, you can simply select a different chase or scene using the controller's interface. Most controllers have dedicated buttons or knobs for selecting different chases and scenes, so you can easily switch between them during a performance. Alternatively, you can stop the current chase or scene by pressing the "Stop" button on the controller. This will stop the current sequence of lighting effects and return the lights to their default state.
It's important to note that different controllers may have slightly different methods for exiting chases and scenes, so be sure to consult the user manual for your specific controller for more detailed instructions.
Why is it that my LED lights will not turn in unless the first slider is up all the way?
If the LED lights still do not turn on even when the first slider is up all the way, it's possible that the DMX address for the lights is incorrect. This could cause the controller to send signals to the wrong address, resulting in the lights not turning on or t's possible that the first slider on your DMX 512 Stage DJ Light Controller is controlling the master dimmer for the lights, which means that the lights won't turn on unless the slider is up all the way.
To check if this is the case, try lowering the first slider slightly and see if the lights turn off or become dimmer. If this happens, then the first slider is indeed controlling the master dimmer. You can try adjusting the other sliders to control the brightness of each individual light. make sure that the DMX address for the lights is set correctly. This can typically be adjusted using the controller's menu or settings.
I
Sorry, not simple enough explanation. Plugged my lights into the controller, and I can't get anything to work.
No problem! Make sure your lights and controller are set to the same DMX address. Start by setting the DMX address on each light to A001. Then, ensure your controller is on and try adjusting the faders. If the lights still don't respond, check that your DMX cables are securely connected and not damaged. Your moving way to fast for a beginner to understand. I appreciate it but you have to explain again the fixtures 1 and 17 you were saying something about a rookie mistake but never demonstrated how to program these fixtures

Doesn't seem very user friendly
The DMX controlers are all the same..!
Very bad explanation of chases, doesn't work for me at all
I'm sorry to hear that the explanation of chases wasn't helpful. Let's simplify it:
Select a Chase: Press the "CHASE" button and choose a chase number.
Record Scenes: Press "RECORD", then select the scenes you want in the chase one by one, pressing the chase button each time.
Set Speed: Adjust the speed fader to control how fast the scenes change.

But why did you say fixture 17 doesn’t go to 2 and I don’t understand how your are programming addresses. Your accent makes it very hard to understand man. You have to talk way slower
I apologize for the confusion. Let's break it down step-by-step:
Select Fixture: On your DMX controller, you have buttons labeled "Fixture 1", "Fixture 2", etc.
Set DMX Address: Each fixture (light) needs a unique DMX address.
Fixture 1 should be set to address A001.
Fixture 2 should be set to address A017 (if each fixture uses 16 channels).
If your fixtures use fewer channels, adjust the addresses accordingly.
I'll make sure to speak slower and clearer in future videos. For more detailed guidance, check out our new video Mastering DMX: The Beginner's Guide to Lighting Control. I'll add the link soon! ruclips.net/video/Hor9AU_ErBk/видео.html
