  • In 1983 Qube Cable celebrated MTV's second birthday by inviting Nina Blackwood into their studios to participate in an interactive cable TV poll of sorts with a somewhat interview and pieces of a rare MTV Behind The Scenes special depicting MTV in it's infancy.

I was sad to find it wasnt live. I think knowing that would have changed alot of peoples perception and wouldn't have been as popular. The thinking it was live made it more at the moment and part of it. Glad I didn't know it back then.

I got MTV in 1990 so I wasn't around with the original VJ's but man Nina was so damn hot, unfortunately now the years have caught up with her and her voice now sounds like she's been smoking ten packs a day.

Nina Blackwood reminds me of Liza Minelli's character in the film Arthur. She looks similar and has basically the same accent.
