Thanks for the info brother. I just got my CDL-A recently and HazMat/Tanker endorsements and applied to Schneider for tanker training. Was getting the ball rolling and talking to the recruiter and found out they were only going to pay me $19.50 an hour! And $15.00 an hour accessorial pay! I know the training is good, but just WOW. I might just go dry van for a bit until I get some miles under my belt and take a look at one of these other companies you've listed. Thanks again!
Hi.Im a 20 year vet driving tankers. Most Gasoline and tanker companies all over are paying over 100K because of inflation and they simply can’t get any good drivers. You will be great brother with the experience that you have.It used to be that a Tanker company would hire a guy only if he had the minimum of 2 years trucking experience. Now they taking them out of trucking school. My day time partner trained 2 guys with no experience
@@johngreen617 Do you have any direction or leads on any companies that need and will train new graduates from driving school? Currently I'm in the Memphis area but I'm willing to relocate. 🙏🇺🇸✌️😎
I interviewed with them for that position too. Hourly was 30 per hr, along with sleep time pay, and load pay. It averaged out to about 1300+ a week. Great training, but I just don't know. Being sent to the east coast in the winter 3 weeks at a time whew
