I said it earlier, without any experience, fresh out of CDL school, it’s possible. Loves, Pilot, Buc’ees the pay is top notch, but they are EXTREMELY hard to get into in Florida.
@@ottohumpmachine8958 is it an easier transition? Fuel hauling was the only driving I did so I have nothing else to compare it to. It wasn’t hard at all outside of the elements. It took some getting used to like any new job. But once you get into a rhythm, it’s a super sweet job.

Just had a business idea and went work for myself for a couple yrs. Im back in the truck now hauling cryogenics now and love it even more than fuel. But for fuel hauling, gemini is top notch in my book.

I worked for Gemini Transportation. Getting hired was hard, but the rewards were worth it. They only wanted people with experience. When i left they were hiring anyone, no matter the experience. Nice! Pepsi guy’s seem to love us lol. We just hired our 4th former Pepsi driver at my location. I’m going to see if he’s willing to come on the channel to share his experience thus far. Good luck bro. 💪🏾
Sheetz is coming to Detroit and is expanding in MI in a year or two I forget. Cli Transport is the fuel hauling side. They also have food service delivery positions. I would go on thier website and call the recruiter.
In addition to your CDL you also need a tanker endorsement and a haz-mat. Folks usually call that an endorsement, it's more accurately a type of security clearance. It also has to be renewed every five years. fuels is the most dangerous commodity a driver can transport in everyday commerce, worse than explosives. A good training program is key to a successful career in this field.
Im a fuel hauler and I wouldn’t go to Gemini unless you like being out all day they get paid by the hour so most of them drag there feet.I get paid by the day so I run my loads and go home I’m usually dispatched 10-12 hours and finish in 8-9 hours most days
Is $30 per hour all they pay or do you get paid for mileage and or loading/unloading as well? If it's strictly hourly only, that's not that good for tanker work
Not sure. I believe they have shift differential if you’re on nights but beyond that, I have no idea. Maybe one of their driver’s will see your comment & respond.
I am the Recruiter for Gemini and we pay hourly with time and a half paid over 40 hours per week. On average, our drivers are getting 55-60 hours per week. A $200 monthly safety bonus as well.

I want the ladies who maybe curious about getting into trucking or the fuel hauling industry in particular to know that they can do it. This might inspire them to take the leap. Now my question for you is why did me pointing out she was a female bother you to the point where you felt compelled to leave this comment?
@@imanthonytv I wasn't bothered. I thought commenting was ok on your channel? I live in CA, and there are a ton of female professional truck drivers.
