Hi thank you for dropping by and watching. I hope you find it informative. I originally ordered black but what came was red as there was no other stock. I order it from a local store in our country and have them get it from RC Mart. here is a link www.rcmart.com/Axon/axon-revoshock-ii-damper-kit-for-yokomo-yd-2-yd-4-dd-ys-002-00103258
Hi thank you for dropping by and watching. I hope you find it informative. Sorry I must have cut it to make the video short. I'll probably make new video soon when I do a rebuild together with the Yokomo big bore.
Hi Good day Thank you for dropping by and watching. I use the new Spring set from Reve D. Yellow in Front then Red in Rear and Yeah Racing 250 for the oil.
Hi Good day thanks for dropping by and watching. Yeah I think leaking dampers is very common. I too have leaks in all of my dampers from the stocks of D4, D5, RMX2, YD2 to Tamiya TRF Bigbore, Yokomo Big Bore, MST TR60, and Axon Revoshock 2. What I do help lessen the leak is when I don't use the kit or in storage, I put it on something that will elevate it and have the wheels hanging that way when it's not in use, the dampers are in relaxed mode.
Hi thank you for dropping by. Compared to Yokomo Big Bore, It is much lighter and have a bit bigger barrel, have a lot more piston holes (12 front, 16 rear) and have a very nice play even with 250 oil which is hard to achieve in Big Bore. All in all, Axon Revoshock 2 is a conversion or an upgrade to Yokomo Big Bore and would need a few parts from it. I didn't have any overdose dampers so I can't compare it yet. Hopefully this info would help you.
