She looks so stunning, you can really see that she had a background in fashion and really knows how to dress stylishly. I love the mixture of classic basics with a natural twist.

Women like her make me envy that tanned looking complexion so much, bc of how stunning they look in white.
Try self tanner. There are really good ones out there now, no streaks...natural looking tan. You gotta repeat the procedure each week, but it's so worth it in summer, imo.
Just chose the right tone of white and your skin will pop too

Ali Macgraw was always so beautiful and still is into her 80s. I loved her in Love Sory and a few other movies. I really wish she had done more. Such a wonderful classy lady. She was another " it girl " of the 70s.
Really did not remember her with shorter hair. It really looks lovely. Great analysis of the beauties of the 60s 70s and 80s and there styles!!

I see her picture in a swimming suit and it’s exactly me (that’s what I mean when I try to explain the width in the midsection) also, the strong looking face bone structure. Since I am only 5’ 2” I don’t come across as a natural that easily but it’s obvious to me when I see pictures of me with different outfits.
Interesting that Aly mentioned the sleek hair. The only way my face doesn’t look that strong with sleek hair is if I do a high bun and leave one lock of hair hanging or something like that but in general I hate how I look with sleek hair and now this explains why.
Maybe you should consider some kind of gamine?
@@Anastasia-ze8bl No. I am as far away from gamine as you can imagine. My sister is taller than me and she is Gamine. The differences are striking.
For me, height matters less for your type than how tall you look (vertical line) and your bone structure especially. I know Kibbe is very strict about height but I personally disagree
I really relate to you! Even i am 5'2" and have that straight body with squarish shoulder and squarish face. I have masculine features, so i balance it out with, not necessarily feminine, buf "feminizing" clothing, if you know what i mean 😅. Plunging neckline with U or V necks and tight tops look good. For dresses, i think the flowy-er, the better (think 60s hippie dresses). And for hair, I have naturally curly hair, and if i dont have fringes on the sides to frame my face, i think i look wide

Think you are right on with Ali being a NC. Lots of scope there.
My fav look for her is the turtleneck top, pants, centre part hair. She wore a beret sometimes too with it. She was stunning like this. Her colouring, tanned body and face, smoky eye and bare lip...she radiated health too. She didn't need anything else. Except maybe Steve McQueen's motor- cycle and leather jacket!
This has been my favorite example for a body type. What an amazing stylish and beautiful woman, true inspiration! Thanks for sharing.

The accessoires Ali wore in the 80ties were not plastic. The bracelets were probably bone and the big red necklace glass with shell. I know this because I've had those too 😀

Hi there! I love the way you talk, the great knowledge you share. I wish more beauty gurus would know at least 30% from what you already know! My lady, please, can you make a vid about women that think they don t look good with makeup? I have this problem. No matter what techniques or colors I use, I feel makeup isn t for me and I look like a pathetic peasant girl. And I feel bad because I see so many women literally transformed by the beauty of makeup. I think I do smth wrong but dunno what. Thanks in advance >
I think this is how we dressed in California at that time. Very different from the East Coast. Maybe that is one explanation? We ironed our hair straight and wore center parts in the early’60’s when I was in college. Sort of a mish- mash of ‘50’s preppy with beatnik vibes. Hippie ethnic clothing came a bit later. But definitely Californian and for young people.

It's scary how youtube knew I j watched love story
I was 14 when Love Story came out. Love Ali Mac Graw. But having her described as a FN confuses me. To me she's a Classic type. How is she different from Demi Moore( D. C.) for example?
I get confused too (thought Jane Birkin was DC not FN) but I think Naturals tend toward heavier/chunkier facial features vs more delicate for Classics, even when they have more evenly spaced features. As well as body symmetry etc.
