This guy is a gem! He lived in my city across town (found out through shipping), and asked if he could assist to install. He said yes, and this guy is even cooler in person. You won’t regret purchasing any of items. High quality, passionate about his work, and of course supporting small business 👍🏼
Beautiful car brother congrats. Currently working on restoring my 66. Redoing the wiring right now. Actually looking into if I want to upgrade the bulbs. Halos look awesome. Thanks for the video. God bless
Hey man! I got headlights like this for my 1966 Ford Thunderbird. Have you had any issues with the halos getting burnt out/overloaded because the daytime running lights (white halos) are technically still going while the turn signals blink on and off? I don't want to burn 'em out, but I really like having both!
I haven’t had any issues but the main thing you’ll want to do is make sure the headlights are running off of their own separate relays. One for high beam and the other for low. I put a link in the description to a relay harness you can reference. Your headlight switch is the same as our mustangs. There’s a circuit breaker built into the switch that overloads and cuts out when the amp draw is too high from the headlights. As far as the halo and switchback, those two circuits run off of the parking lights circuit. That is not a high amp circuit and should not cause anything to burn out. Good luck to you!!
Hi, do you ship to Norway? I have a Mustang 1967 and like what you did with the headlights, I would like to by all the necessary parts from you if it is possible
Looks good man. my LEDs just showed up for my 65. I was wondering how yours held up as far as hazing? I was debating spraying mine with a clear coat before I even installed them. Edit: I just bought the adapters off eBay from your store! Can't wait till they show up. I saw on another comment you can send instructions. Could you please send the instructions with my order please? I placed the order at @755 AM Pacific time
@@CMOSXy adapter showed up today I love the fact they won't take up much room, right on for making them man I hope you sell a million. The only thing I would change in this is not criticism in any way, where you electrical taped the junction I'm going to go ahead and add some heat shrink.
hey i’m 22yrs old with a ‘65 mustang. i want to get halos, but also don’t want to splice wires either. i’m sorry but your description of harness’ was confusing me. I know with your self made harness, you said it was plug and play, but can we see what it looks like? additionally, then what is the point of the harness in your description, if your designed one is different? i’m sorry, it’s just thoroughly confusing since there isn’t pictures or videos to go along with your descriptions. pls help!!!!
The adapter sits between the parking lights and the car harness. There are two additional wires on the adapter that power the halo and switchback. I can send install instructions and a diagram with the purchase of the adapter.
It's not mandator but it is an upgrade that will improve the circuitry of your car and added safety. Without it, the power draw of the headlights flows through your headlight switch and the circuit breaker in the switch to manage the amperage draw. These switches are notorious for tripping and leaving the car without headlights until the circuit breaker cools off. Also with the wiring being 50 years old, shorts and other electrical headache are not to far off. The high-power headlight harness is one off the best electrical upgrade and highly recommended, especially for the price. With it the headlight switch is just that, a switch and your lights run directly off the battery safely with relays and fuses.
@@CMOSX could you please post pictures or a video on how and where to hook up the harness to bypass the switch for the lights.. i bought one but am not very good with wiring and need more details. Thanks for your help

Not a bad idea, maybe some 2k clear. That’ll be the best for UV protection.
