you cant have the halo working for both the high and low beams using this method (unless you use the amber turn signal halo ring for one beam and the white halo for the other). you would have to run the halo to a switch to have it run with both high and low beams
Hi John. I really love the video. If you don't mind answering what is the name of that wire connector that connects to the led headlight for the ring? I've been to lowes, harbor freight, and home depot and I can't seem to find the right connector. I've also looked at Amazon and I know its called a spade connector but I can't seem to find the right one (male).
When I search "male spade connector" in Google, they show up. AutoZone sells small sets of assorted connectors. You can also cut the spade connectors off and use butt connectors or solder and heat shrink.
Awesome video, someone who knows what they are doing. I have a question maybe you can disect. I have one of these lights although my high beam only works when the rocker switch is in the middle and my left and right signal flash while opposite side white drl also flashes at the same time. Any thoughts?

Hi , nice video, just what i need it, thanks, i have one question, the cable gor the amber , should i put it with the positive of the turn signal? So that way it blinks amber when when i use the tern signals?
John hello. what about the just day light on. In normaly my bike has mini day light bulb. it is allways on when my bike is working. Mini 12v bulb. If i turn on low beam or high beam, it s still on(mini 12v bulb) i connected this 7 inch head light h4 everthing is perfect but just day time light is not working. 2 wires (yellow light and white light day time light) i connected white color option to my bike + but there is no - polar cable for day time light. I want in a day, just day time light on.
When you wrap the wire around the low beam prong and plug it in would that cause a safety concern? I’m not an electrician but was wondering if a live wire laying against the plastic plug would cause it to melt?
I have an 08 Electra glide, no DRL. Id prefer ONLY the halo light/ring for my low beam, but for the light to function properly with high beam. Can this be done?
I have a set of these but customized em as fog lights but just noticed the holes I used were the breathing/vent holes, will it damage my lights if I don't have a vent??
You should be fine. The vents are only opened in the case that moisture builds up inside the light. Many of the cheaper ones don't even come with vents.
theres 3 wires going to your parking lights. ones a ground, ones for the parking light and the third controls the blinking function. you'll want to tap your yellow wire into that wire which controls the blinker. that will switch the halo from solid white to a flashing amber while your blinker is on.
@@JohnPageContraband Went to Home Depot. Do you see any concerns or issues with using 16awg primary wire? I did find the 22-18 spade connectors...not the 22awg wire though...so I picked up the 16awg. Many thanks again...will be doing this install this weekend!

It depends on the light. Most that ive seen the white halo goes out while the amber one is flashing but I have seen others where the white stays lit the whole time.
Sir how can i have just the halo to turn on ..... im thinking about three way switch for the solution so i can have only the halo to turn on but there is no video in English about three way switch
yes wiring the halo to it's own switch would be best. you can use one of the 2 prong switches for this. the third prong is for the led indicator light inside the switch.

the amount of power that ring draws is miniscule so if the headlight itself aint blowing the fuse, i doubt the halo ring would push it over the edge but you never know. try the next size up and see what happens. if you blow that one theres something else going on.
Is this just one solid ring light or is it a ring light with individual little lights in the shape of a ring? Can’t tell because I don’t know if he focused his camera on the light fully

The only way you can do that while still connecting them like this would be to tie one color halo to the high beam and the other to the low. You can also run them each to their own acc switch to have full control over them.
