Glad they kept the Unity assassination animations. The parkour is similar to Valhalla's, but that was expected. There are a few tweaks that make Basim look a bit faster and more fluid, giving Ezio vibes. The feel is definitely AC1/Origins. Throwing knives and blow gun are Syndicate and Kenway trilogy gems. Overall, it is a return to the roots in some ways, but because it was originally meant to be a Valhalla DLC, the influence is understandably there. Still, I see a lot of room for stealth creativity. Glad I pre-ordered this! 😊

Playing this game on the ps5, i’m definitely going to assign the run button to the trigger like the old days, as well as putting attack to square and parry to circle.
9:47 im kind of worried that the stealth of mirage will be bad based off of this clip right here. The player makes basim whistle, making the gaurd face directly infront of where basim is standing, and the player decides to use a throwing knife. even though basims hand was clearly visible when he threw it the gaurd doesn't care, even after his friend falls to the ground dead. I hope they fix these little errors with the stealth before launch as yes, i do want the stealth to be satisfying but DO NOT want it to be dumbed down.
It's a step in the right direction, at least. To truly perfect the formula I think they'll need to move away from this engine and redesign the AI from the ground up. Creatively speaking, the way they've gone "all-in" on the project is pretty respectable, considering the resources available to them. But that's just the thing - they're still limited by Valhalla tech, hence these janky, kit-bashed animations. So, the creative direction is wonderful, but the tech required to fully realize the vision simply isn't there. Knowing what they do now about the desirability of this "true assassin" experience, hopefully the next installment will be the definitive assassin game we've been waiting for.

I have a statement for the good parkour of Mirage is to escape the combat situations easily there's good system for parkour called forefront parkour which allows to escape the situation of hard or intense gaurds easily this is so good thing of parkour because unity is a type that it does lots of fancy 360 degrees turn after you climb of the ledge but it requires so much strength and stance to do this properly which is not that element in mirage because the only thing it matters to me is to escape the enemies successfully because that's how parkour works in Assassin's creed franchises

The soundtrack sounds amazing.
Yep, Basim runs like he has shit on his pants, and looks slower than Altair in AC1
Wow, nobody cares
I really thought this game would have no momentum from the parkour footage 😭
How fast is Basim while running ?
This game wil "Game of the year."
Very funny
