As ı Turkish ı tested both of them at the Canik factory shooting range. İf TTİ would be color option like Rival-s ı would buy it. But by the color differences Rival-s is the winner.
yes people have done that but it would be cheaper to get the tti and get the taylor freelance brass fittings to make it weigh as much if not more than the rival s so you get the best of both worlds. they are both amazing guns but i personally prefer the tti, mainly for the aesthetics lol. I'm a sucker for a burnt bronze.
Found the TTi out the door for $945 but got the Rival last week for same price; for them shooting pretty darn close I think I already made my pick before even watching videos, would like the TTi but I also own the TP9 elite combat so do not see why I should expend another 1k on it, unless prices will go insanely up
@ I thought about it, lately have bought lots of Smith and Wesson, the problem with collections is average mortals can not keep up with it! I own few on most manufacturers but there are always some I wish I had but have not funds for it, mine will never be completed collections, only few can do that even if dedicated; so I am trying to at least get the ones from inside the collections which appeals most to me and be resigned to let the others go; difficult to be entirely “satisfied” now try to explain that to the wife but in my case I can say I am pretty satisfied so far; the TTi is another awesome gun
I held both of these pistols in my hands yesterday. The steel frames Rival is considerably heavier, which in my opinion would be a better shooting experience. Aesthetically, the TTI the John Wick fanboy deep down inside of me. As it should lol
I did 14 shots with both hands on each pistol and 4 only shots single hand, so you should have been able to get a good representation of recoil from the 14 shots. Thanks for the feedback 👍
@thefulm-WDE been carrying hammerless for about 10yrs, I just treat it like it's Zeus's lightning bolt in my holster and have never had an issue. Trusting a new person or pistol is the same, just takes time.
Great vid Scott. Enjoyed it!
Thanks Dan, means a ton🤘
Thanks Scott! I Just picked up My "S" Yesterday, GunGenie has the S, with Optic for 827, (as of yesterday).
That's such a great price! Nice pull🤜🤛
Great idea doing a side by side staggered and then unison. Always a great review from you!
Thanks! Much appreciated
Both are great but I really like the Rival more
It's a tough call for me. 🤜🤛
I got my TTI last month. Got close to 700 rounds through and had zero issues with it and shoots amazing!
Nice!! They are epic!
TTI Combat

Rival for life
I am a rival fan as well, but this TTI is extremely close
Excellent comparison. 👍
Thanks🤜🤛
Both nice but rival S for me!
Got to have both
Agree 🤜🤛
I wonder has anyone thought to port the barrel on the rival s?
Interesting thought

I can see that. I'm a huge Canik guy, so I would like to own the complete collection. 🙌

They have a optic plate for the rival with a rear site in the plate
TTI FOR ME
🎯I own the rival s steel frame with Cyelee Bull pro x on it shoots great it's my 1st canik best trigger out of all my guns🔫
That's a great setup. I'm probably going to add a cyelee optic on mine as well
@@DropItLikeItsScott I'd recommend the ghost the bull is a little on the big side The ghost was an out and when I bought mine
@joe7282 I'm looking at the shark X Pro or the Cobra X PRO. I've beat the snot out of the shark and still runs perfectly.
Went with the metal
Nice choice🤜🤛
ANY PROBLEMS AFTER 5K ROUNDS WITH THE TTI COMBAT 🤔🤔
Still under 5k rounds.
I think the Rival is a winner, but I love the TTI, I'd take the TTI... Nice review
They are both iconic for sure. Thank you for watching🙌
@@DropItLikeItsScott You're welcome 🙏
I like the TTI Scott, thanks for sharing, YAH bless brother !
That is a excellent one for sure! thanks Michael!
For seniors its the TTI combat
Akimbo bad comparison grip strength is different which could cause more visual recoil

You and you're Caniks, lol!
😂🤷♂️😂
Someone should make an optic plate that gives you the rear sight when mounting a red dot.
That's a great idea.
🦋🇺🇸👍👍🤷🏼♀️😎
🦋Both are nice
I wouldn’t EDC either
I'd keep one as a truck gun, but they're too big for everyday carry.
@@DropItLikeItsScott yeah I might do that. I’m just not comfortable carrying a loaded hammerless pew pew..
None are too big for everyday carry, maybe the S&W 500 long barrel revolver...but if there's bears where you live...not even that is off the table.

@thefulm-WDE takes time to get accustomed. It's all preference
