    Most people just want to stop the immediate threat with out the guilt of killing another human being people like to act tough and talk a big game but actually living with the fact you killed someone is completely different so defending your self with a clear Conscience is always a better option for normal people

Very super scary!! i am subscribing now for sure. Also got to get a t8.1 and some breaker balls! I have a little baby and live in a bad neighborhood, thanks for the testing!

    Hi I have a very important question as I consider using a paintball gun for home defense. Can I keep the gun in a ready-to-shoot status for a long time and pick it up and shoot right away? Will the co2 cartridge lose pressure over time? Thank you so much!

    • @armandocornejo8104
      @armandocornejo8104 4 года назад +1

      The tipx model you can leave the co2 in the gun without puncturing since to puncture you have to take the first shot. my tipx I keep it ready for an emergency. Very good non-lethal weapon solution

    I am really thinking about getting the T8.1.0
    But dont you thing its much better with a full auto paintball gun with 200 breakerballs in the tank?
    Could you recommend a full auto paintball gun, which is not to expensive?

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад +17

      No, because even with the video here, I already accidentally have 2 bounced balls that broke / cracked my frame, and a lamp shade, and that was discovered AFTER the vid upload, scary! If you have 200 rounds, you will be destroying your house instead of the burglar. Plus, the power on a lot of paintball guns are not meant to be tweaked for high power, most of them max out at 16 joules at max or even less, and they don't work to give you better power. Tesitng so many guns, the t8.1, t9.1 and t4.1 are the only best option there because they are meant for high power shooting (the T8.1 was sold to LE as the FN303P for military use), and they can be stable and hard hitting all the time. The other ones out there never have this intended purposes when designing, and more rounds don't make you better too. You are using air here, if you are using Co2 with full auto, all your shots are not accurate, not powerful and the co2 freeze up fast. If you are using HPA, shooting too fast also decrease power and accuracy. Going with the T9.1 or T4.1, we still stick to mags and not hopper to avoid this issue plus jams and the clumsiness and sights blocking issue. It's just stupid to use hopper for home defense. This is not a paintball game, if you shot someone with 8 or 9 rounds like this, you will end up seeing them on the ground for sure, and there is no need for another mag to destory your house.

  • @tiny007

    Hi,
    I think comparing .22 pellet to these breaker balls is like comparing the effect of a 22lr to a 12gauge slug ^^

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад +8

      LOL kinda, but it's air gun versus air gun, most people think a pellet gun will "work" better than this one.. but I am showing you it' s not

    • @tiny007
      @tiny007 8 лет назад +6

      Breaker balls have a kind of of a "trauma effect" that the pellet gun doesn't have, kind of like "stopping power" vs "penetrating power" knowing that the pellet gun doesn't go that far :)

    Informative and lively channel, hat's off to you sir. Would love to see more tests, comparisons and reviews! also may I ask what's your opinion on the Tiberius SA-8, T15 PDW and first strike compact pistol in turns of self/home defense application?

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  7 лет назад +1

      SA-8 is the older version, but similar power when tune up, T8.1 is better, they have improved the regulator. The T15 - not for high power, even you change the barrel and tune up the gun, max out at 20ish joules only, 10j less. The compact pistol - not sure because I have not try it myself, but it should be nice I think, just that its not even out yet. The T15 - I heard from a fan on my channel, he realy used it in a real situation shooting 3.9g rubber ball and pepperball combo , he shot a burglar and it worked, the thing dropped the burglar down and he was "done" after 6 to 7 shots. Down the ground and waiting for cops lol

    • @hickfe893
      @hickfe893 7 лет назад

      Thank you for your quick and detailed reply! Yeah if the compact pistol has the same power as 8.1 it would be too sweet, better grip and practicality(their drum-mag next year could prove interesting in home defense as well). I do wonder how come the 8.1 has more power over 9.1 and basically every other Tiberius marker. and wow that must be quite an experience trying to defend your own property. Can I ask about roughly how far was he shooting at the intruder and was it center mass or lower body shots?

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  7 лет назад +1

      the guy shot the bad guy at within 20ft range, pretty typical home defnese situation because the guy went into his kitchen and he pulled the marker, rush up and fire, and i know he shot him in the face and chest mostly. The guy was screaming for him to not kill his poor ass, lol! The 8.1 and 9.1 is the same and so is the 4.1, Just the T15 is not the same power because its a different build, and mostly aiming for players and not defense mostly. If you use t15 for defense, yes sure, but mostly pepperballs - which require not much power anyway. Don't think about drum mag, because you won't need it. In fact, t8.1 with 8+1 round in the gun and a co2 ready to peirce is enough for a real situation. If you cannot end the game in 9 shots, you cannot do it in 20 either. No one fire firearms in home defense like a movie battle right? The gun is firing at 30 joules my friend, if you don't hit the guy, the ball is going to break other things in your house and do you want to do that to wreck your house down and risk all the bouncing balls hitting other shit in the house? No way. Pepperballs are not good for indoor too, because it takes a LONG time to get rid of the pepper afterward, and you will have to clean up your vent and stuff big time, BAD idea for home defnese indoor. I will mostly say - 3.9g hard rubber or breaker balls is the only option I will take. If you like pepper balls, keep 2 in your hand, and then slide one down the barrel on your first shot then the breaker ball will fire out WITH the pepper and that will make the papper go to the bad guys while a breaker ball is also flying together, then you don't have to waste the quota for a lethal / hard shot.

    • @hickfe893
      @hickfe893 7 лет назад

      Versatility in measure is always appreciated, thanks for the tip! Though I have to say I believe 8~9 rounds could be potentially inadequate in turns of capacity for home defense, especially scenarios involving multiple intruders and statistics showed home invasion often involve more than one assailant.
      Since it's near impossible to know the intruder's intent and size of party beforehand, one could argue having more rounds then you need should be better than not having enough (in a practical, reasonable manner of course), and considering most home invaders would be armed (from simple tools, common edged weapon to the off chance of an automatic firearm, we just never know) it’s safer to overestimate then under, plus shooting at moving target accurately is hard enough, to be moving yourself don’t make it any bit easier, a whole nother story to perform the above while getting shot at or even just having rocks or bricks thrown at you. When fine motor skill die and adrenaline rush I feel every round gives you more leverage, be it 5.56 or .68 balls.
      One friend’s uncle once had an encounter and experienced home invasion first hand. He was a vet in his 50s who goes to shoot maybe twice a month, had done a few self-defense course and in good shape for his age. Long story short; 3 intruders present themselves, friend’s uncle had an old 1911 near him, emptied his mag(7) and landed only 2 shots on the first assailant’s upper arm and shoulder, while trying to move to his locker to get more ammo and reach his 12 gauge, the 2 remaining assailants dumped about a full mag’s worth of 9mm(12~15) at his vicinity sending all sorts of hellish fury at his uncle and retreated with their wounded accomplice. Luckily no bullet finds their way into his body and with only a few scratches from the shrapnel and splinters he was basically unscathed. It would be a very different story if the intruders persisted and charge him while he’s trying to find the mags to reload and unlocking the safe for his shotgun. He told my friend a while later it’s one of the worst feelings he had with an emptied gun and helplessly watching masked men trying to get close to finish the job. He got an AR and Glock afterwards.
      It’s also a valid point that you mentioned about property destruction but I think bullet ricochet and the possibility of penetration and injuring your family members or neighbors unintentionally would the main concern, yet with markers that is unlikely, near impossible if the structures is concrete based. And sure you would most probably damage your properties but in a home invasion scenario I would like to keep me and my family safe at all costs and worry about my ming dynasty vase later :P
      As for the cleanup, I agree full heartedly that OC and PAVA would be a pain in the ass to decontaminate. Interesting note a friend integrated OC aerosol grenades and masks in his arsenal to discourage invaders and gain grounds in home defense, a real mess but if done right an effective deterrent to give you time to hunker down or escape without direct contact with the intruder.

    I'm just curious, what do you think about real paintball guns like DYE. They seem to be really sweet. But I don't know about using a paintball gun for defense.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад +4

      So just because guns are not over $1k , they are not "real"? Go to any paintball field and see what guns most of the paintball players use and reconsider what you are saying here. I am not saying that DYE is not good, but you should not say that "real" paintball guns is like DYE, even a Tippmann gun is a REAL paintball guns, they are not fake, and dude, Tippmann earned their position in the paintball history with a lot of good work, everyone respect them. I have the BT Dfender, and it's sweet too, but not a gun I will use for defense. Only the Tiberius T8.1 /9.1 and 4.1 are good for defense because they can be tune up to 30 joules in power, most average paintball guns cannot go that hot.

    Another fun shooting video, thanks Herman. I'd like to see how the TIPX works in comparison with breaker balls. I know it has a lot less energy but you have all the fun equipment to test the two. Although perhaps the TIPX doesn't have enough power to properly fire the heavy breaker balls? I need to review some previous videos but a side by side with the Tiberus would be cool.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад

      I compared the two before, but just not with a skull. The TIPX is getting like 15j-ish and it's definitely not good enough for any penetration, but it will still be very painful when shot. You can say it's a deterrent, but not a lethal weapon. No one wanna be shot by a breaker ball at 15j, it's going to crack your ribs and shit too. Afterall, huamn are very fragile... I have done a video doing this T8.1 VS TCR on my 2nd head-shot, stay tune for that, coming up in 1-2 days..! The TCR is 20-24j tuned, so.... ya, good comparison.

    • @Mrblacksunshine65
      @Mrblacksunshine65 8 лет назад

      Chiinnature I found the video, been a while since I've last seen it. The Tiberus ripped through a hard plastic bottle. Definitely shows the power difference. Thanks buddy. Looking forward to the next video :)

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад

      even in ballistic gel test, the penetration is a huge difference between the tipx and the t8.1, seriously, if you want a TIPX for this kinda thing, the TCR is much better with the same and better feature. The tipx is more like a backup. After months of not shooting the TIPX, pick it up again, yes it works, but the power is very much around 12j again, sucks. T8.1 still work and high power..!

    Hi, Love your videos very informative, but I need your opinion on something, I live in Mexico and I need a paint ball gun that is compact for self defense. I contacted First Strike but they cannot answer my questions because of the liability. I see the Tiberius is the most powerful. What do you think of the First Strike FSC, they say its the same velocity as the Tiberius. If this is so, then great, ill get the breaker balls and some pepperballs. Also have you heard of the gorilla high carbon military grade steel rounds that are 17 grams? I will practice shooting with the riot rubber balls and when the time comes, if it comes. Ill use the breaker balls and if possible the gorilla balls probably less than 15 feet. Thanks so much!

      Well, the South African balls arrived 10/26, and Paint Ball Arms Dealer was correct. The first problem was that I only received 49 of 50 balls purchased. The main problem was that each ball was quite deformed. Not only were they not round, but the coating had many breakages on most of the balls. I could not find a single perfect ball, whereas Paint Ball Arms Dealer always sold me perfect MB68Ps. When it comes to home defense, I'm not sure I can trust the deformed balls...

      I just finished placing an order for 25 from you via eBay, and left the other seller a review with comments about my experience (accidentally said I used a .50 cal barrel when I meant .68). Literally only 14 of the 49 balls I received would fit!

      That is very weird and surprising. I got 2 order from the guy on ebay and they sold me some good balls for the 2nd batch. First batch is for sure not as good. I have shot all the balls and they all fit and shot well with good power in my test as well. I am taking to them this week and see what is going on. I don't want people to get bad balls while I get the "pre-sorted good ones" and that is not good for biz in the long run for sure.

      @qeazit 8 лет назад +4

      Good evening Erich. We have seen your neutral feedback on eBay & apologise for the bad experience you have had with our product. Please note we have had a recent bad experience with one of our manufacturers & have had let them go, due to poor quality manufacturing. Luckily not many Balls have been manufactured. It might have been that you have been one of the unlucky ones. We have now also strengthened the Bulls Breaker Balls with an Armor coating, making the Balls even stronger & more robust! Please send me your address & email address so we can communicate with you to send you another batch on our cost.
      Tip: Kindly take note that if you try to throw the Balls through the barrel, most of the Balls will get stuck. It has been manufactured to fit through the barrel as tightly as possible to get as much velocity possible. You will have a different experience if it gets shot instead of trying to manually throw them through the barrel.

    I think it has to be a headshot only for this to be effective. Someone wearing a winter coat, and a body shot, is questionable. The gun is impressive in power, but you are also shooting multiple rounds into the same stationary target. Not sure how possible this is, for a moving target. That knife of yours looks way more trustworthy...

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  8 лет назад +5

      A knife is only trust worthy when you can fight with a knife, but for a lot of non-trained people, a knife can get them more danger because lack of skills to fight and they don't have power to fight. Imagine a guy that has some disabled issue and stuff with their legs, or they are just at their most tired time in the day? With a jacket (leather) it will not stop the power much. A guy tested it on youtube already and they used a LEAKING low power gun (about 4j-6j max man) with the breaker ball, he dropped instantly like a chicken lost its feet on one shot, the rubber ball from the same gun didn't drop him at all. You can see the difference. Search that vid up yourself..."paintball for less lethal self defense" or somehting with the guy filmming in a park or something. With my gun's tuend power, you are ensured to see a broken bone or at least no one can stand up and smile after a shot to the body unless they are wearing impact proof armor or metal plated armor lol

    • @rbrtck
      @rbrtck 7 лет назад

      +Chiinnature Some bad guys are a lot harder to take down than others, though, continuing to fight despite suffering multiple penetrating gunshot wounds, never mind bruises from paintball guns. Yes, this particular paintball gun is impressive for what it is, especially since it runs on only a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge, and what you've done with it is also impressive, but it is not a firearm, and even firearms are not always as effective as your description of the T8.1 loaded with breaker balls claims. Experienced and knowledgeable members of the firearm community are humble enough to admit that, as well as the difficulty of achieving precise head shots on a moving target under highly stressful, dynamic, even chaotic conditions, so you probably should be that way, too, unless you think you know better or believe that the T8.1 is more effective than firearms.
      By the way, bullets from 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP service pistols have been known to deflect off the human skull on occasion (even straight-on at the forehead), and the weakest commercial loads among these still have over 15 times the energy and over 4 times the momentum of the T8.1 in addition to far more dense (by over 4 times) and therefore far more dangerous metallic bullets. Now, I'm hardly saying that the T8.1 loaded with beaker balls is a joke, as it is capable of doing great harm--even killing people--and police and military forces use this and similar weapons in some situations. I'm just saying that even with far more powerful weapons, what will happen in a fight is not nearly as predictable and certain as you are making it out to be. Those who expect too much may be in for a rude surprise should they ever need to defend themselves, especially against someone armed with a firearm or even a knife.

  • @rbrtck

    Even a .22 cal PCP rifle is no match? What about the Sumatra 2500 in .22 cal? While it only has a 6-round capacity and is lever-action rather than semiautomatic (still pretty fast, though), each shot (using 28.5-grain pellets) has over 3 times the energy of the T8.1 (at your maximum tuning) and the pellets have 2.8 times the sectional density of the breaker balls. Now, if you want to talk about momentum instead of energy--basically how hard it hits--then this .22 PCP rifle delivers 96% of the T8.1's momentum, which is pretty close. Also note that I'm basing this on the 6th consecutive shot fired from the Sumatra 2500, as a worst case--its momentum is equal to or slightly greater than that of the T8.1 on its first shot, and I think the T8.1 loses power faster.
    Personally, I think this .22 cal PCP rifle is more effective, even somewhat approaching the effectiveness of .22 Long Rifle firearms. And then there are even far more powerful PCP rifles in larger calibers, of course--the most powerful available commercially pretty much match service-caliber pistols (firearms) in power and effectiveness per shot. Not that the T8.1 is a slouch by any means, especially for a pistol running on a 12-gram CO2 cartridge--I'm just pointing out that .22 cal PCP rifles can be just as effective or even more so.

      mostly the have glued the handle in already, no way to get it out unless you use a hammer to hammer guard (cover with cloth) while the blade clamp on a vice. I have done ite myself once, and it took some effort but it will come out

      Thank you for the quick response. Has massive ornamental lead work on the tsuba and fuchi that intertwine, it's a strange sword. The fuchi actually mounts into the tsuba. The Saya has coin shaped gold leaf phoenix down a black lacquered finish. Not sure I want to do a beat down on it. It's a tachi with huge detailed lead carved clamps on the saya with leather and red silk rope straps. The flash from camera did pick up the wavy line pattern in the blade; cannot see them with the naked eye. Your video has been a big help. Thinking it a military dress sword for display only, too heavy and too long to swing like a katana.

    Those rounds look so wobbly and asymmetrical. Camera illusion or from manufacturing? Anyway Idk about that skull. Human skulls aren't made of drywall plaster they have fibers. You didn't explain the science of how the skull is made so idk if its a realistic representation or not. And also you shot them in the head ten times so obviously that could be lethal. That's like someone who happens to know some karate and keeps hitting them when they are down. That doesn't mean somebody's average karate punch is super lethal or something.

    • @Chiinnature
      @Chiinnature  Год назад +1

      I am not the one who made the skull, it was sent to me for testing only. However, the less lethal world now will have a lot of info for you including some human test too. A shot of 30J hard ball into your body (even with jacket on) can be very painful, and I can tell you that from true story - it can drop a guy down for good if shot into the chest ( 2 rounds burst).
