I've been a HUGE fan of the band for years now, Dara has one of , if not the best female rock voice in the world right now, as you So rightly said if they had been in LA they would have been snapped up in a heart beat and produced to hell. I applause them for sticking to their roots.The band is killing it, their original songs are on my playlist for sure, LOVE that Dara is collaborating with other great singers ....The skill and tightness of the band is clear.....Watch this band cause they are going to be HUGE!!
Daria is the best female rock vocalist of our time, period. She's not only amazing vocally, drop dead gorgeous and a great performer, she's also as humble as they come judging from interviews I've watched, a truly remarkable artist and woman.
Still of the Night is better than the original he is an unreal guitarist I am a huge fan and it's got nothing to do with my crush on D!! Lol....love this entire band....the originals are super tight can't wait to see them live soon!!
yes they are a great band. Sergei is a mind blow guitar player that takes the guitar from covers and improves on it with incredible leads. Daria forget the fact she is drop dead gorgeous. Daria has range power and she is so good she could sing the phone book..
I hate Sergei with every bit of my soul. He is so good and makes it all look so effortless that I almost want to throw my guitar in the trash and take up stamp collecting.

I didn't discover No Apology because of your video, I discovered your video because of No Apology. I've been following them for a few years now and fell in love with them (ok, let's be real, Daria) instantly after listening to their Back in Black cover. As much as I love their original music, I wish we would get some more covers out of them as well. I prefer almost every one their covers over the original.
I actually think they improve most every song they even his Steve Steven's improv lead is awesome they f**king rock they are super talented and her voice blows me the f**k away how ever she makes it very difficult to focus...can a woman be TOO sexy OMFG...never have I seen such a talent with that much beauty!! The 4 of them are so perfect together...they will take the U.S. by storm and that intro on Black in Black and their rendition is amazing
Amazing band. Been following them for several years after I caught their RUclips covers. So glad they are getting the WELL DESERVED momentum and attention. They are incredible and I can't think of a better rock voice than Daria....Just incredible, the power in that voice. Great musicians, all of them. They are going to be absolutely huge!!!
I've been subscribed for a few years now and Daria is extraordinary. A truly world-class voice and a performer who can surely command any audience. I'd love to see the band live. Sergey has the sense to recognise that Daria has the star attraction, so seems content to play a background part on videos despite being the main artist from a musical and production perspective.

So I've just gotten used to Japan putting out one female metal band each month. This is probably overstated, but that's the rate I am discovering them right now. Only to realise that Ukraine seems to be a hotbed for fine rockbands with female leadvocalists. Jinjer took off when, one or two years ago? And now this band, totally blowing me away with their musicianship. Thank you so much for featuring them! As a European I shouldn't be surprised, though, as singer/songwriter Ruslana won the Eurovision Song Contest for Ukraine in 2004 with a powerful performance. In hindsight a sign of things to come. I just hope that the war raging in Ukraine comes to an end, better sooner than later. One stray bullet or missile is enough to cut a promising life short.

Some still claim they are some kind of gimmick, because they originated in an idol show on Japanese TV, started very young (10-12 yo), use choreography as an integral part of their stage performance and with some very few exeptions have not written their music themselves. So you can't really call them a band in the normal sense of the word. But then, they have been around for about ten to twelve years now, and many credible rock musicians, beginning with Rob Halford and including people like Metallica and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, have endorsed and praised them. They collaborated, amongst others, with Joakim Broden (Sabaton), Tim Henson (Polyphia) and recently Tom Morello. Live, they are supported by top notch session musicians, the so called Kami band. If you don't know them: Imagine three girls/young women in costume doing a J-Pop performance, while behind them a Heavy Metal band is really shredding it. Sounds totally wrong, but I am obsessed with the results. I saw them live in May as they were supporting Sabaton, but neglected to buy tickets for their upcoming headliner concert in Cologne when you still could get them :( I love Suzuka Nakamoto's lead vocals and her amazing stage presence. I adore the way they connect with their audience. It is very refreshing to have lyrics with positive messages: Standing up to bullying, forging your own path against adverse conditions, getting up again after taking some hits, defining yourself as a Japanes women without accepting the traditional role model, using dreams and imagination to bring colour into this world, managing your desire to eat chocolate, enjoying Papaya salad or just getting pumped up for some sort of celebration. Some of their songs have very strong connections to traditional Japanes culture, but at the same time play devil with them. In their most recent music video Metali, they dance in a traditional Japanese room and use lots of cultural references, but simultaniously wear boots inside a house (a total no go in Japan) and casually kick aside two tea tablets to have more room for dancing. Five videos for a first impression: - Megitsune, original MV (very early, still one of the quintessential Babymetal songs) [edit:] Or you watch the live version of the "Legend of 1997" concert, which actually happened in 2013 (the name refers to Suzukas birthyear), to get an idea how a Japanese audience reacts [end edit] - Karate, original MV (2016) My entry to Babymetal - Kagerou (2019), any live version with an intro by the Kami band. My journey regarding this band is still in its very early stages but will certainly be continued. - Nemophilia's lead vocalist can easily switch from screams and shouts to clean female singing, a bit similar to Jinjer. Slightly harder than my taste, but still a good listening experience. I have to add I've only listened to a couple of their songs until now. The same goes for - Lovebites. The shredding going on here is totally insane, yet still melodic. - Hanabie Definitely on my bucket list, but up to now I haven't listened to any of their music. Have a good day!
@@fortivomusic I used the weekend do dive deeper into Band-Maid and I have to say I am definetly a fan now. Five dedicated and skilled musicians absolutely on fire. It might be a matter of debate weather they are closer to Punk or Heavy Metal. Something in between, I guess. The live video of "Domination" is often named as a good entry. There is footage on YT of their complete 2023 Lollapalooza 2023 appearance as well as clips from other recent live shows. In an intrview with the YT channel "105.7 the point" they talk about some of their influences/favourite bands.
As good as any band here in the states doing cover songs. They will top the charts when they add more originals. They deserve to be here in the states doing concerts! NO APOLOGY for being fantastic!

One of the best rock bands I have ever heard, their cover songs are better than the originals, they must be signed up ASAP.
