Love the videos sir. I really appreciate the Garmin instructions. I'm trying to learn the NXI right now, but only on Microsoft's flight sim. I soloed on my 16th bd in 1970 and went to get my medical the next day only to find out I was color-blind and would never get to fly commercial. A mighty crushing blow to a 16 year old boy. With the restrictions I would have just with a PPL flying wouldn't be fun nor cost effective for a young guy. I got to fly with friends often enough to still get the enjoyment. I got in to RC and that helped and after more modern sims came out it really helped. Thanks for the instructional videos you have, they help speed up my learning process.
Color blindness is not always a disqualification, if you can pass the light gun signal test you can get a waiver. I believe you only get one shot though. Thanks for watching!
@@ProPilotPete I did go out with my instructor at the time and we lined up at the end of the runway and they shot me the gun colors. I couldn't distinguish the white from the green at all. It wasn't even close. I was as heartbroken as a teenager that lost his first love. Well, I actually was that teenager losing his first love. Thank you so much for the reply and especially as quick as it was. I live vicariously through guys like you and Baron Pilot. The Baron is my favorite plane in the sim. I really love the NXI and get a lot of grief from my buddies over that. If it doesn't have the NXI I don't fly it, well mostly.
Nice , I fly this Bonanza in VR in MSFS , great fun ! 😜😍 can you do some tutorials from cold and dark start up to landing with check list ? I want to fly it like a real pilot ! 😎

When you switch tanks do you use the fuel pump on low?
Nope, fuel pump is used for priming, emergencies, and take offs above 90°F. No need for it when switching tanks or a normal take off.
