IDK everyone gonna agree with me or not that Jordan is all about creating an immersive experience for the audience and I do not feel no difference watching Jordan ranking his favorite horror movies in the fashion of face off
10. The fly 9. Evil dead 8. Sinister 7. The texas chainsaw massacre 6. A nightmare on elm street 5. Jaws 4. The shining 3. The exorcist 2. Friday the 13th 1. Halloween
My top 10: 10.) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 09.) Hellraiser (1987) 08.) Scream (1996) 07.) Saw (2004) 06.) The Evil Dead (1981) 05.) A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) 04.) The Exorcist (1973) 03.) Alien (1979) 02.) The Thing (1982) 01.) Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives (1986)
Part 6 is great, my one gripe about the Tommy Jarvis "saga" is that part 6 does not explain how Tommy had decided to stop being haunted by his past and instead choose to use his experience as a catalyst for destroying Jason.
@@nonesta13 At the beginning of the movie, Tommy says that he hopes destroying Jason's corpse will finally stop the hallucinations he's been experiencing.
Nightmare On Elm Street is a classic but my favorite horror movie of all time with the best horror villain of all time (my opinion) is halloween. Nothing beats a classic Michael Myers slasher film
Wow. I know taste in films is completely subjective. But I can’t believe he chose The Babadook over Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I did not like The Babadook at all, and TCM is one of my favorites. That just surprised me is all. But hey to each his own, regardless of that, Jordan Peele is an incredible director 🫡
NIghtmare On Elm Street kept me up 10 days straight insomnia will never forget it , everyone has to sleep eventually so you are faced with horror EVERYNIGHT ! COMING FROM A true horror fanatic for many many moons. You tell me a horror movie name I have watched it. EVENT HORIZON ANYONE?!!!!!!
The Exorcist isn't on here because he doesn't like it as much as the mainstream does and it's somewhat controversial to say that it ISN'T the goat horror movie. It would be a big hot take if he just flat out didn't like it. He knew going into it that his favorite is Nightmare on Elm Street and knew he would get absolutely annihilated by people if he picked that over the Exorcist.
Halloween 🎃 is the number 1 horror movie of all time. Without Halloween the horror genre is done. It does not matter what came before Halloween in 1978 cause Michael Myers put horror on track to become the biggest genre.
The Horror movies I watched and enjoyed are 10 Cloverfield Lane, Shaun of the Dead, Happy Death Day, Zombieland, Zombieland: Double Tap, Predator, Coraline, Monster House, and two of the three movies of Peele’s trilogy, Get Out and Nope. I won’t watch Us, because it looks too bleak for me to enjoy. I will, however, watch Jaws, Misery, and The Lost Boys.
Under the skin , funny games, Halloween, Friday the 13th, the Bird the babadook Texas chainsaw, dead again Jaws Scream poltergeist,it follows martyrs, let the right One in,the shining
Jaws is considered a horror movie. Every person who worked on that film said that. Even Spielberg in making of Jaws. Because of Jaws many people do not go in water manny years including me. And every horror list has Jaws so you are in minority.
The best four horror works rely on the letter 'C': CORALINE CENSOR CHUCKY (CHILD'S PLAY, particularly 1 and 2, BRIDE, and SEED. He literally said "I learned that today" when crowning the greatest 😂
Without “The Exorcist” that bracket makes no sense. Just saw JP’s “Nope” and loved it!!! Great imagery and characters.
@Denavio Leeks It made 150% more than its budget. I’d say it did well for an original movie not based on a preexisting IP
totally agree - no Rosemary's Baby, no Romero or Argento, just one pre 70's and no EVIL DEAD 2. Unforgivable
I love how he can pick out his fav horror movies no question
10. The fly
9. Evil dead
8. Sinister
7. The texas chainsaw massacre
6. A nightmare on elm street
5. Jaws
4. The shining
3. The exorcist
2. Friday the 13th
1. Halloween
Hey man. Solid respectable list. I’d replace sinister with the thing and it’s a near perfect list
He started reading from the script behind the camera lol
It Follows is very underrated

No halloween on the list? surprised.
@@Iter929 Halloween (1978) would be somewhere in my top 20.

I'm glad u pu The Thing and Hellraiser up there
The Silence of the Lambs.
only horror movie to win best picture...
Under the “thriller” category tho 😭
The best picture nominees from 1991: Beauty and the Beast, Bugsy, JFK, and The Prince of Tides ... I can see why The Silence of the Lambs won!
That’s not bad info but…
One of only two movies ever to win best Picture, Actor, and Actress… yeah
Silence of the Lambs it's not Horror.
Rebecca won.

Jacobs Ladder is a sleeper horror classic...
For me personally it would’ve been a toss up up between It Follows and Halloween.
Top 5 horror films:
Rosemary’s baby
The exorcist
The shining
The silence of the lambs
Scream
Nice list
Silence of the Lambs is not a horror

Hey!!! Happy Valentine's Day, my love:) Great job and Happy Halloween, my lovely friend
Pet Cemetery vs Jaws is a better match up or with the options Birds VS Jaws
Halloween 🎃 is the number 1 horror movie of all time.

ICONIC yes Greatest No
Wheres THE THING
Where's hereditary? One of my favourite scariest movies
It had only been out for like a year when this video originally came out
No Psycho? Fail!
It's more considered mystery suspense
I don’t really like Poltergeist either 😂
Neither do I. Just kind of dull.
I love nightmare on elm street but it never scared me in the slightest, and where tf is the exorcist??
Salem's lot (1979), hello?
That movie is less entertaining than watching paint dry
no Exorcist?
That's true about halloween and the shining. Gotta say I'd go Halloween.
The Thing should be there
Halloween Friday the 13th nightmare
it follows over poltergeist is a crime
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) it's the best Horror film ever made.
Why not have Puppet Master vs Chucky
It's called child's play and Chucky wins easily yo. Puppet master was cringy😂
Nightmare on elm st amazing

Us is horror movie that you need to do a research its also the most complicated movies ever made
Um, where's 'Sinister'?!!!
Why is Dead Again on here? Lmaoo
Im not sure JP picked the movies.
Who picked these options in the first place?
Him
The Ring, Japanese version
You can by watching Get Out that he loves Under The Skin
I'm 1st...I Win...lol😎👍💥
While I love GET OUT, it's more of a satire/dark comedy or psychological thriller than an actual gory, slasher, or ghost-themed 'horror'. Sorry!
Under the skin , funny games, Halloween, Friday the 13th, the Bird the babadook Texas chainsaw, dead again Jaws Scream poltergeist,it follows martyrs, let the right One in,the shining
Halloween was the correct answer.
No.
@@brokendawn7675 2+2=4 and Halloween is the top horror movie of all time. These are basic facts.
@@brandon.lewis. there's no such thing as "facts" when choosing films lol. It's completely subjective which movies each individual person enjoys
@Tru 319 Carrie
Nah, it's The Shining.
@Tru 319 Generic 80's slashers
@Tru 319 Halloween is 70's though. But I think of those franchises as very 80's.
Jaws is a thriller not a horror.
That's what I keep thinking, but for some reason most publications do classify it under the 'horror' umbrella.
Alien is more horror than Jaws imo
@@davidbasset7557 well yeah, Alien is sci-fi horror. What was the point of this comment?

Hereditary
The Thing
Alien
No Exorcist, Omen or Pet sematary... lame a*se list
The exorcist sucks. Boring as can be. Not scary. Just a ugly possessed girl saying stupid things
Hereditary over all of them.
Under the skin has good visuals but the plot is meh. It follows is kinda gross and also plot is like meh
yikes.. elm street movies are terrible and do NOT hold up
This has showed how little he knows about genre.
Eye roll
Well we certainly don’t agree here in the slightest. I can’t even believe the list you even have it’s missing so many key movies…
Its funny how this guy isnt funny at all when hes his normal self.
