It's those little things that most white people don't understand when it comes to the everyday struggles of people of Black/Brown people. And it's so much more. Like the need to impress and be accepted by white people to the point of looking down at other races and your own, Only to discover, you are just a perfect acting token in their imperfect groups.
Wis Dom - Ok, but I'm still wondering what the solution is... the more I read these comments, the more it seems like there's no way for black and white people to come together, and no desire to make that happen. When I meet a new white person they seem to always say something "Asian" relate which is totally out of place in general conversation, which I find super weird, they always seem to just see the colour and immediately feel the need to say something related to the race. White people do say weird things that people of minority never do, its just in their genes to be like this.

This is exactly what he described in the movie, you talked about his blackness first before you consider him as a human. Why is it such a big deal that he is married to a girl from brooklyn 99? Because he is black?
I never feel comfortable being the only black guy at a social gathering. That's why I won't come to any social event where I am the only person of color there.

Whether people want to admit it or not, America is slowly becoming more self-segregated and with movies like this, it only speeds up the process. I see no desire from the type of people in this video to move beyond race... instead it's a desire to amplify racial differences. Well first I would like for you to prove me where you get the idea that these type of conversations are speeding up the process of segregation? I honestly believe it's opening the eyes to everyone of real world issues that need to be address to improve a nation. The fact that you are upset is good, it's a start. These things are upsetting, just make sure to treat those around with respect no matter of skin color and understand the real life problems people have to face everyday due racism.
arasani325 - well it depends what issues you're talking about. with most of these conversations, the general theme is that white people hold all the power in society and are actively oppressing everyone else. A lot of this is based on false information, such as this idea that white cops are constantly killing innocent black people because RACISM. A look at crime stats by race and stats on police shootings will show you that this is not the case. Boccacio 1812 Totally agree with you. As a Latina who is indigenous, I see it a lot in my own racial group. Latino communities have mostly if not always, self segrated themselves from other races in America. I understand to a point that they are and/or want to be more comfortable around their own people when it comes to culture and language, but I really think that hurts them in the long run. It's not healthy that minorities self segregate themselves. The Civil Rights movement was about bringing people together and stop racial segregation in this nation. And now it's like we're bringing it back on our own terms. And you're right about blacks and may I add, brown people believing the false narrative of police killing them for no reason and that they will always be a target in society. I know for myself there are good and bad cops in every police force. The way of thinking by some black and brown people that we will never be good enough and always be kept down in society is simply false.
He should write a prequel where they went and visited his family first and when they get there the dad obviously has been out of the picture since before he was born, the mom is sitting on the couch smoking weed, and the grandma that raised him is sitting there playing dominos with her church group.
Reason why America has failed as a progressive country, this right here. Instead of fixing issues let's blame everything on "leftist elites" who have the nerve to have a different opinion
Jordan: "It's uncomfortable to be seen as a color before being seen as a person." White people: "I don't see color, I care about the person, not the race." Internet people: "RACIST!!! *usually followed by autistic screeching *"
The media likes to give you a false portrayal of a group of people, and if you've never met any of said group then naturally you're going to view them in an unrealistic manner. All races are guilty of this it's true, but that doesn't suggest that human beings dislike each other by design lol, that's a bit of an exaggerated statement. And certainly not to the extent as portrayed in this movie lol not in the 21st century.
Yeah, a quote from his wiki page: "On November 20, 2017, eight women who were employees of, or aspired to work for Rose accused him of contriving to be naked in their presence, groping them, and making lewd phone calls."
Real stuff it’s like that it’s very nervous meeting parents being part black and in a predominantly white area yet alone state of Indiana so lol but anyway it’s very uncomfortable situations especially when meeting lots of family members for the first time and even immediate family it’s scary sometimes cause you never know reactions
Someone didn't get the movie... He doesn't despise white people genius! also since when does being "a black man" disqualify you from marrying a white person, or living in a safe neighbourhood? You are the kinds of people he's making fun of in the movie lmao.
I know they say this movie deals with deep rooted racism. How about the irony of racists needing a body of a race they feel superior to, to gain superior attributes. Most racists wouldn't want a drop of black blood in their body, and they took on the whole physical form. Envy and admiration come to mind here. However the callous disregard to a race for self preservation is where the racism comes in. I think a combination of that has a lot to do with our current political climate with respect to racial tensions.
Lava91point0 if you're not black, I don't expect you to understand. Just keep downplaying racism like a typical white person. Your job is to defend white racist behavior Everytime I expose it. That's was predictable. Just laugh it off and finish eating your bagel.

Scariest movie I've ever seen in my life. Too. Damn. Real.
It's not a bad thing to be political but when it distorts reality it's kinda off.
I love you man, thanks for the truth being exposed in one of the best movies I have ever seen. God bless you
They were listening but still didn’t hear him smh
Jordan peele unintentionally calls out the white liberal
drewski5217 your ignorance is showing.
Reason why America has failed as a progressive country, this right here. Instead of fixing issues let's blame everything on "leftist elites" who have the nerve to have a different opinion
You're a freaking idiot. He didn't unintentionally call out white liberals. He did that intentionally
No, intentionally.
Jordan: "It's uncomfortable to be seen as a color before being seen as a person."
White people: "I don't see color, I care about the person, not the race."
Internet people: "RACIST!!! *usually followed by autistic screeching *"
Talks about racism against black man felt being around white people , marries a white women .
Sounds stupid to me
Thank you!!! And he is half white.
@@spr6986 and? So is he just supposed to be ignorant to the world around him then?
Jordan Peele made history yesterday becoming the first black writer to win a Oscar for best original screenplay.
I didn't see the movie, but I loved Peele on MadTV and Key and Peele.
It is the nature of human beings to dislike anyone who is even slightly different than you even in your own race, all the more so other races..
joey walker You sir win the award for the biggest pile of horseshit i've ever read.
It's an extremely strange thing to say...
So are you disagreeing with me? or just saying you don’t like to hear it
The media likes to give you a false portrayal of a group of people, and if you've never met any of said group then naturally you're going to view them in an unrealistic manner. All races are guilty of this it's true, but that doesn't suggest that human beings dislike each other by design lol, that's a bit of an exaggerated statement. And certainly not to the extent as portrayed in this movie lol not in the 21st century.
Lava91point0 media has nothing to do with it its biological
I see Gayle sounds like her friend Oprah and is trying to be like her too 😩
Make a movie about a white person owning a business and black lives matter coming to town
Lmao they should
This went from looking like 27yr old college student to looking like a 47yr old dad
Jordon Peele is a very talented comedian and director 👍🏾😊
Get out is a dark comedy catagory , the best of the comedy category’s
He's A "TRUE GENIUS" !🔥
Morgan Freeman on all your silliness.
R.I.P. Charlie Rose, 2017
I think he means the sexual harassments...
Yeah, a quote from his wiki page:
"On November 20, 2017, eight women who were employees of, or aspired to work for Rose accused him of contriving to be naked in their presence, groping them, and making lewd phone calls."
😂😂😂😂😂
Sometimes I hear things Gayle says (Dawn Staley, Kobe Bryant, Justin Timberlake, Charlie Rose) and think of Georgina 🤦🏾♂️ No, no, no 😂😂😂
He's a really funny man, and I like his other writer side. This was a well-written movie with a great concept from the writer's P.O.V. Good job!
MadTV and Kel and Peele
I hope this movie gets an award. Awesome movie.
Katharyn VanAllen it got a lot lol
Good job Jordan!
He was talking about racism but the guy cut off this discussion and said "making comedy film and horror film is the same ?"
Take your clothes off Charlie.
This is secretly the NWO
If it were possible, the whites in power would try to do this to try to avoid judgement from God and Christ.
YET HE MARRIED A WHITE WOMAN??!
He is bi-racial...
He's still a black man.
dinduit He is rich, You want him to stay in the hood?
Someone didn't get the movie... He doesn't despise white people genius! also since when does being "a black man" disqualify you from marrying a white person, or living in a safe neighbourhood? You are the kinds of people he's making fun of in the movie lmao.
So marrying a BW means living in an unsafe neighborhood?
I know they say this movie deals with deep rooted racism. How about the irony of racists needing a body of a race they feel superior to, to gain superior attributes. Most racists wouldn't want a drop of black blood in their body, and they took on the whole physical form. Envy and admiration come to mind here. However the callous disregard to a race for self preservation is where the racism comes in. I think a combination of that has a lot to do with our current political climate with respect to racial tensions.
white amerikkka dismissed the horror of racism as a dam comedy though. Merikkka
Tyrone Simon lmfao lay off the sticks bruh
Διρhα I don't even know what that is bruh
The scene when the guys gf is in her bedroom drinking milk through a straw and listening to dirty dancing was supposed to be serious then? Lmao my bad
Lava91point0 if you're not black, I don't expect you to understand. Just keep downplaying racism like a typical white person. Your job is to defend white racist behavior Everytime I expose it. That's was predictable. Just laugh it off and finish eating your bagel.
@@tyronesimon3742 repeatedly saying racial vitriol to collective whites about being collectively racist, is racist.
Them sitting together on the couch and him in a blue shirt and her in red stripes - was like the American flag. I think Peele said yes that was his intention. Or did he?
race baiter
