    Oh My Gosh!!!! After researching vacuums I took a chance on this Miele C1🌼 Absolutely amazing, I can’t describe it!!!! I only wish I’d discover this brand years ago. As soon as Amazon fantastically delivered it, I took it out of the box, quick set it up and started using it. The vacuum is a million times better than any Target/Costco store bought vacuum or Dyson model. Seriously I had to fight my elementary school nephews off because they wanted to vacuum with it because it was so cool and the suction was outstanding. I am so happy I bought this!!

      i was looking forward to the parking system explanation too.

      The 'parking system' is simply a ridge on the back of the plastic cleaning head and a selection of slots on the side of the vacuum body so that you can slot the head into the body of the machine either when standing on its end (e.g. when you've finished and putting the machine away) or when on its wheels (e.g. 'parking' temporarily to change electric socket etc) so the hose and tube are held in position upright and not sprawling about on the floor.

    A warning: I have one of these, and it works great on hard floors. However, when you use it on carpet, even on the lowest setting, it sucks so hard it can barely be moved. In this review it worked fine on carpet, but it has the very expensive electronic brush, instead of the standard one I have.

      I agree with your warning-- the non-electric carpet brush that came with the vacuum is lousy. It doesn't pick up anything on my white wall-to-wall in the only room that's carpeted.

      I feel like for premium brands like sebo and miele they should be either purchased through or learn through a vacuum shop beforehand to figure out the specific combinations of tools that would fit for your floor type the air driven floor brush works better for area rugs without thick plush fibers but if it's a bushy carpet or a shag you definitely need the power head so either by through a vac shop throw a bundle if possible or buy one that is capable of attaching power tools and then wait for second-hand powered head that's compatible with your model off of eBay or whatnot.

    I'm considering buying one of these, but "carbon dust"? Are these things using brushed motors like my Grand pappy's old drill or an '80s RC car?

    • @SuperVacsOttawa
      @SuperVacsOttawa  2 года назад

      yes they do have carbon brushes. The pro side...you can have a hepa filter added to the c2 and c3 so to reduce the dust coming into the room.

    I bought the C2 complete. I cannot find out if I can buy the electrified head, hose, and tube for this machine and have it work. I don’t see it on my machine where the electrical connection would be. Also, these three pieces would run over $400.. so I’m stuck with a machine that can only really do hardwood floors.

      Go back & watch the video again. You can buy a 'Turbo' head that is powered by the air flow suction (instead of an electric motor) to spin the brush for cleaning carpets.

    This is the 2nd review I have watched by this guy. He has stated in both reviews that the Miele c2 AND the c3 have about 32 feet cord length. This was my selling point but, upon searching specs, both machine have a cord length of 6.5 meters approx. very misleading, 32 feet = 9.75 way way out!

      He also mentioned the air powered floor brush head was powered with a motor then he actually uses the power head in the demo instead of this one I would look up performance reviews for premium vacuums if you can't find a vacuum shop to demo

      I would’ve liked to of seen the turbo brush being used as well.

      The sign behind you says $83. I think it was a financing price. So, $83 per month

    I have new Berber wool carpet from New Zealand Quite expensive The Dealer and Manufacturer do NOT recommend using a rotating brush They state that it will void the warranty Your suggestion needs to be re evaluated Sorry js

    • @SuperVacsOttawa
      @SuperVacsOttawa  6 лет назад

      Hi Jack, thank you for your response. I've heard some carpet manufactures say they will not provide warranty when using a rotating brush on their carpets. Two thoughts on this; 1) you do have to be more aware of berber rugs when two pieces are put together which makes a seam. I have seen resulting runs in the carpet. 2) If you have a solid piece of carpet, there is no reason not to use a soft to medium bristle rotating brush. These types of brushes will not dig into the rug but ply back while still providing a sweeping action. I hope this helps. Have a great day. Tyler

    How about a dirtier rug? A fifty dollar carpet sweeper would pick up rice. Not a very meaningful test for such a high-dollar machine. Prove its value against a $150 upright?

    • @SuperVacsOttawa
      @SuperVacsOttawa  6 лет назад

      If you are familiar with vacuum cleaners you will be well aware $150 vacuum or even a $50 vacuum can pick up dirt. Mind you, they will certainly not last anywhere as long nor have the many other features had listed in the video. I always encourage customers to stay within their budget but you do get what you pay for. Have a great day.
