    Even though I have new suspension, I really like the Sidewall. My current spec is 19x9 +21F(245/40/19) and 19x9 +17 R (235/40/19) so close to being aggressive. my tire setup may look crazy, but even on the roughest roads, it handles them well. Thanks For showing this so others have an idea. The various wheels look really cool. but I would rebuild to be less agressive not to damage / pull the body. Great video Jon!

    20s with a drop and a tire stretch looks really good plus yiu dont have to worry about destroying bumper lip ect

    Definitely a very informative video, I got told 17x9.5 +15s wouldn’t fit and ordered the wheels anyways but only wish I had come across this video sooner and gone with 18s. Plus that website at the end is amazing, keep it up great vid 🤙🤙

    My stock fenders tucked 245/40r18 in rear, going for wider setup 18x11.5 on 265/35r18 with 50mm overs and 225/40r18 on 18x10.5 rolled front fenders

    I have SSR Vienna Courage on my '95 SC 400. Rear 19x10, +38, 275/30, Front 19x9 +38, 245/35. 1" Tanabe lowering springs and struts. Rear fenders shaved. Fronts untouched. Rides nearly the same as stock

    i have staggered 20s on my SC and they absolutely belong on this car.. so your opinion is not valid.

      @@JonathanMai Exactly. So 20s are just as viable as 'little' wheels and look just as appealing to many people as well. So, saying they don't belong or have any place on the SC isn't valid. The fact is, you just don't like them.. so say that.

      yeahh... the actual pinch welds I am suppose to jack up from were tweaked and I tried fixing them
      but after a while they just bend back and look bad.

    good video! Trying ot figure out what to do with my '99 SC. I currently have 245/45 R18's all the way around but am debating on going smaller, or even stock.

      Depends on how you want to look yk.
      245/40 at the minimum if you want to look better imo. Or even 245/35

    Congrat. Its a great video. Im thinking to buy a 11x18" ET15 5x114 wheel as replacing rear wheel. what do you think? what needed to do for it?

      Those are pretty aggressive for stock body, you will fs need to roll/cut your fenders, and then pull them slightly depending on what your fitment goals are.

    I don't know about you but I had 20 inch rims on my 400 and they and I was running a 295 30 on a 10.5

      It's not normal, I have a rubber pad with slits and put the welds in between so they don't mess them up. So far so good...

    If you want a terrible ride quality go bigger and if you want to literally cripple your car then lower it.
    If you ever got in to a fantasy movie style high speed chase in this car you’d blow your spoiler kit to bits. Unless you’re on a perfectly smooth racetrack this car has been hobbled.
    I wonder why police never lower their cars or put low profile tyres on them? Because they have to ACTUALLY go fast on real roads.

      Mine is lowered 1" and on 19's. 275/30 rear, 245/35 front. The ride difference from stock is barely noticeable. I don't have a body kit.

    I don't think 245/40/19 would give that suv look? Maybe 245/45 or 255/40. I have a GS since fresh outta high school, I just bought my first SC it's so clean. I think 19s sit the best on SC LS GS cars. I think I'll put my 18s I got on my GS onto my SC and get some 19s for my GS.

      If you care about ride quality, I would stick to the 16's and then throw on some fat sidewalls.

    Wey, sabes que turbo le quedaría chido al sc300?, quiero ponerle entre 500 y 600 hp, ya se que fuel pump y que inyectors ponerle, solo no se que turbo sea bueno para ese 2jz

    Man I want my sc to look that good but I just can’t be static like that I drive too cray u feel?? Have fully adjustable Megan suspension, all stiff bushings, teins set to be soft on sparco 18x8 no stagger can’t remember what tires but summer comp. I love the adjustability and knowing that I coouuullllld go this route is cool but I just couldn’t sacrifice what drivability I have left. Would bags be the compromise I’m looking for u think?

      Coilovers I would say is better than bags in terms of performance. So I would stay with coilovers since you have adjustable suspension you have.
      I look low, but I'm not that low in my opinion in this video.

      Let me ask you question - any idea if this part/product exists - just a thin rubber spacer for inbetween top hat and body? I swear the oem suspension had that but I cannot find where tf they went. I believe it’s called an insulator but can’t rly find anything online

      @@JonathanMai just thought I’d let u know I found the exact thing I was saying but not rubber - ‘polyurethane top plate spacer’
      it’s usually for ppl who are doing lifts or the opposite kind of suspension tuning as going low lol but I can still be slammed with 1/4 spacers on top if I wanted.

      @@JonathanMai it also devalues the car long term and i care more about the car then a look. I got a 1996 sc300 factory 5 speed with 107k miles all orginal garage kept its whole life its super mint and i want to keep it that way as long as i can :)

    Hey y’all I have a question! so I ordered some RPF1 for my sc300 and I have the Supra break kit ready but not installed and I got too happy and ordered the wheels too but I’m not sure if I messed up and got the wrong specs… I got 5x114.3 9.5 38 for the front and 5x114.3 10.5 15 for the back do you think I got the right dimensions for Supra break calipers to clear or be fine?..

      The rears are fine, you are probably going to need to run a spacer for the front.

      You can have the flush look for more than just wheels, it can be with the tire too.
      Also, not everyone cares about performance.

      when you start flaring the fenders and chipping the paint you cannot go back and just looks trashy and cheap to me. its like all the money goes into the wheels and nothing els... its a very immature way of modding a car.@@JonathanMai

      I see it as, why buy stock spec expensive wheels and tires for it to look stock still. You need to roll your fenders imo to make them fit more aggressively.

      you buy wheels that fit on the car so you dont have to roll fenders and fuck the car up. it loses value long term when you do that. these are not throw away cars they should be something you take pride in and want it to last longer then you.@@JonathanMai
