- This is my first attempt at a build guide, its not perfect but it is a start. The drone in question uses a Steele 5 frame, Mamba H7 FC, Mamba ESC, TBS Sixty9 and 2207 2450kv Mamba Motors.

10/10 this is fantastic, thank you so much!
👍👌
33:00 when you said don't do this. Were you referring to plugging in a battery with nothing plugged to the antenna connection? This causes a short circuit? Or it just burns the antenna out?
Yes, powering anything that transmits ( transmitter, module, VTX et cetera) can very quickly damage the transmitting device. TBS stuff can handle it( in the case of their VTXs around 5 hours) other VTXs in general will fry after 3 minutes or less, it comes down to how well it was designed.
What goggles and RC are you using?
For goggles I use Eachine ev300D (they are discontinued, replaced by the ev300o but the digital second hand market has good deals every now and then so that would be a better route)
For the TX I use a FrSky Horus X10. (There are good(some arguably better) radios for better prices. )
@@minimaistor Thank you very much for the reply 😃. I'm using dji goggles 2 and a tx16s, and I'm using some of your build for inspiration. At 33:00 what is it that you forgot to screw in there? looks like an antenna or something.
(working on my first diy build myself, without much knowledge about FPV DIY, I've built many planes/gliders, so adjacent knowledge)
@Chaos_and_Harmony Yes at 33:00 I did forget to put the antenna on the VTX. Thankfully TBS makes very robust components so it was fine. Anything that transmits needs to have an antenna on else it will quickly damage itself.
