That bit from Cardone about spending your last grand on his workshop is strikingly similar to a sermon by a pastor at a mega church, who said a parishioner who was down to their last grand would be better off seeding that money with the church, than using it on anything else. That logic is sick.

The "load up on debt if your going bankrupt" thing is wild. Are there no Trading Insolvent laws in the US? Because in Australia we have laws that say if a company is insolvent and a director allows the company to incur a new debt, then the director can be personally liable for the new debts incurred. If something like this in the US does exist then grand is literally telling people to commit a crime. Or if he has Australian clients then he has already done it.

unfortunately, making your opinions public, does expose you to libel. just the way it is. not a lawyer, but maybe there's someway to phrase your commentary to cover your @ss. Like freely using the word "allegedly" or "based on sources below", maybe.

@@czarcomaNo you're absolutely correct and the channels I support who criticized DeCastro were journalistic in their criticism. They called him out solely on the things he is proven to have done. Their work was excellent. He really is just...a narcissist who cannot handle criticism.
He's said publicly during his own livestreams that his goal is to drain his critics of money. It's known, he said it. I'm not a lawyer either but I received a very sobering education in the last year about how flawed certain aspects of our system are.
DeCastro hasn't just filed federal defamation lawsuits, he's been filing state defamation lawsuits as well.
DeCastro is based in California. One of his critics is based in Massachusetts. So he's sued her for defamation in California as well. He's threatened after that to sue her in Massachusetts.
The financial burden on her is the point.
It sounds like something out of a movie but I've watched this happening in real time since around October 2022. DeCastro has cost his critics tens of thousands of dollars in court fees.
His critics, the channels I support, are relatively small and I've been hoping for larger creators to catch wind of what he's been doing.

@@czarcoma alleged doesn't mean much.. but what protects you in the event you can defend yourself is that if you had good reasons to believe what you were saying was true. you can deflect with alleged though if you have some other guy saying the thing, to make it so that you're just reporting on what the other guy is alleging.
you can't just invent a fictional person to make the allegation and have that mean much of course.
cardone is a public figure peddling bogus courses, it'll be very hard for him to get a win in court if someone said that he is a scammer, a liar and a charlatan. even he wasn't a public figure you could just ask him in the deposition what exactly does he think that he is saying to potential customers when he says he will 10x their business and how many actual businesses has he 10x'd.
EVERYONE EXCEPT the people running the sales funnels(other charlatans) LOSES WITH GRANT CARDONE.
anyway what grant is aiming at is trying to close down smaller channels, commenters and influencers just with the threat of a very expensive lolsuit over their heads. that he is panicking enough to do that probably is an indicator that his scam business is down a lot from just a year ago when he still had stupid hustle wanabes going to the 10x's and losing their ponzi money richard milles belonging to a customer while drunk in the bar, allegedly(not really sure if that particular person lost it, stole it for himself or had it stolen off from him, its kinda hard to tell when that particular grant cardone 10x alumni lies so much, what we do know that the watch appeared at a shop sometime after).
edit: yeah I went on a tangent to cardone. the way to deal with that lawz guy would be to actually have him lose in court, which unfortunately can be very expensive. but he can sue you for libel even if there's nothing there, if he is actually filing such suits with nothing there by himself then it's not that expensive to get them dropped todd rogers style.
in the best thing you probably could do would be to get the content creators to make CONTENT out of the libel suits. he can't block that.
