  • Ben John: "As a beginner entrepreneur/business owner in 2019, I was introduced to a book by Grant Cardone(The 10X Rule) that lured me into mentorship from him. After 3.5 years and $250k spent with Grant & his organization, I realized that I had ignored all the signs in that environment that encouraged me to idolize Grant as a God, seek him for success, disconnect with those who don’t align with him or me, chase money, deceive, & manipulate others to get what I want.
I later found that Grant is being operated by the church of Scientology and after looking into that myself, it made sense why he treats people badly & why he teaches entrepreneurs to unethically scale their business.
I have been publicly speaking about this consistently so that people can be aware of not only Grant, but ALL self serving entrepreneurs who prey on people’s fears to manipulate them & teach them how to deceive others. I’ve done it regularly on my instagram/FB page, Instagram lives, & interviews."

I’m so happy to see this information get out into the community.
People, entrepreneurs, & business owners need to hear these type of stories so they can be aware of the cult like aspect that will suck them into a life they never thought they’d be involved in.
I noticed that it’s not talked about enough for numerous reasons.
Embarrassment, fear of not fitting in, fear of the organization coming after them, etc.
My intention isn’t to make Grant look bad, but rather wake people up.
I’m one of the rare individuals who does not back off & I have a purpose to enlighten people to things they may be ignoring or blinded to.
My hope is that one person in one of these types of communities hears what I’m saying & recognizes something that I’m talking about that is a red flag or not in alignment with thief values/morals.
My purpose is to help others with this message.
Not to serve me in any way.
Success is in everyone one of us & we don’t “need” to seek it in others.

Knowing ourself is key here, still many don't trust their intuition as this shapes how you interact with others and can lead to deeper, more fruitful relationships. It also frees one from the expectations of others, allowing you to be your authentic self. "Truth never changes, only our awareness of it." Malcolm X ~

(There are those who remain 'blind' to the 'cult' societal, to personal 'programming...' and those of us who always KNEW something was seriously OFF with these perps! (I recall seeing the movie "They Live," in the early 1980s... and didn't GET what it was about, until later on. Those who are prone to so- called "codependency..." STILL have to deal with their narcy, etc. "family, of origin?" Or later go: "no contact?" (Or alternately: very 'limited,' contact??') Blame doesn’t work well whichever way it’s directed.
If we don’t discover the cause AND deal with our own shortcomings, that’s the problem.
Remember Blame is something they used, so people involved were used to blaming themselves.
Didn’t help them see the big picture.
It’s slso what groomers do. So, if it’s in our culture to target vulnerabilities, those who are the most vulnerable WILL get targeted.

My physician assistant program at University of South Carolina did that too. They told me how my body was wrong and my chest was too big to be a P.A. On day one they told everyone the better students haven mental health issues and are on meds. They set up a doctor for you to see to get Ritalin so you'd perform better.

There were people standing at the doors in suits with there arms crossed like security guards. At the start they said no one has to be here . If you want to leave you can leave now and we will give you your money back now. But if you leave after this point you won't. I have many thoughts on this one. First of all, I'm glad Ben got out of this scammy cult.
BUT i have a few thoughts... First of all - we live in capitalism. Entrepreneurs are not there to "help" people and I'd like to argue that the current economical system we live in facilitate the kind of scams Cardone has set up. Entrepreneurs are.. Per se and in the capitalist system, always self serving. Second of all - and I say that with no judgement - i find the whole speaking to the dead, suddenly finding religion, seeing dreams and connections everywhere a little worrying. I wish all the best for Ben

    • @TheMisguidedMentor
      @TheMisguidedMentor 3 месяца назад +2

Thanks for your feedback and thoughts. I'm here to change the self development industry in several different ways to encourage people to start caring for others and not serve themselves, chase money, or an outcome. Most operate this way, yes. But I don't and I'm here to change the standard. I also up against a giant battle to do that but my frequency and consistency will outframe that over time and uplift others to do the same.
When I brought up my personal experiences, I never mentioned that I found religion and only mentioned my spiritual journey. I am not religious and it is important to distinguish the two from each other. People who have not experienced what I have will not get what I'm saying, and that's ok.
I'm not here to convince but only share my experience.
But I believe that if you can bring yourself to let go of 'everything' that you may hold onto, you most likely will have a similar moment like mine and when that happens it will be an undeniable feeling.

Binge watching through your channel and Blown For Goods content so you are making my day! Love this channel, the brave survivors who speak up and out, and the all help you bring to others emerging through the "viel" of indoctrination!
