Thank you so much for doing these. As a longtime fan getting to hear what things were really like means a lot to me. Mark writing MDMA. The NIA story had me dying.Emmure has always been hated on for "simple" riffs.Simple or not your writing has always been fire as fuck and the true fans like me appreciate your unique style.much love and respect for giving us this inside look
Thank you so much for sharing your personal odyssey with Emmure. Speaker is my favorite Emmure record too, so heck yeah! It was extremely cool to hear some of the intimate details from your time with the band.
Loved this. Glad to hear you and Frank are cool again. Can’t wait to hear what you’ve got going on next. I’m bummed Painless didn’t take off, there were some cool songs on that ep.
You are genuinely a good, insightful dude with a very introspective and forward-thinking personality if these videos are any indication of your personality. May be one of the most likable guys I’ve ever come across in the scene. I’m glad there’s been some reuniting and growth between you and Frank and the current lineup. Nobody wanted what happened, but sometimes it’s the way things go and it’s amazing to hear just how far you’ve come in that post experience. Your impact on Emmure was so massive and you turned them into one of the most successful bands in the genre (and the haters made that very clear lol). Don’t forget that. I love it man.
Thank you SO much. I really appreciate the kind words and always just loved to be genuine and cut it up with everyone and anyone on the road etc. So glad to do what I have done for that portion of my life 🎉
Brother I would always think about you when hearing new Emmure. Just hoping that you were okay. i am beyond happy to hear about your healing and reconsolidation
This was sick man. Thank you for doing these videos. The ending is so good too. I hope you guys stay connected now and can relive some memories. It's refreshing to hear you guys are growing on your own paths.
One of the guitarist that I looked up to in high school back in 2009 to get me motivated to learn how to play guitar which if we’re being honest I only learned guitar so I could play deathcore and over the years I’ve expanded into other stuff but the initial interest was some of emmure early work So thanks for that much love❤
Thank you for these videos, really fascinating insight into the history of the band. I'm glad you were able to meet up with Frank and reminisce about the old times. I hope to hear some new music from you in the future!
Dude this was so fucking awesome to hear. As literally the biggest emmure nerd/fanboy...😂 this absolutely made my day. I'm really glad that you're on good terms with the guys again. The last time I seen emmure was in Evansville IN during the trespass tour. I was really looking forward to meeting you but I only got to meet Frankie and Mark. That was such a good show though, you guys absolutely fucking killed it. I can't wait to hear the news next week you totally got me on that one 😂
I wish you join back. I love emmure but they deff need two guitars live especially for the melodic side of emmure. I love these videos and appreciate everything you did in Emmure. Emmure is one of my favorite bands and Slave to the game to me is a perfect album
I really hope you are rejoining Emmure. When I lived in Seattle, I seen you guys a few times. I believe the first time was January 2008, and I ran into Frankie at El Corazon, and got Goodbye to The Gallows signed, them seen you guys shortly after when the Respect Issue came out at Studio Seven. And sometime later on when Mark Castillio was on drums. I was stoked meeting him, because I grew up listening to Bury Your Dead, those were good times. Now we are all older, but Jesse you are aging well.
hi Jesse, I just randomly found this videos and need to say that 10 years ago I’ve listened to Emmure with my brother a lot and we’ve seen you twice and you always killed it! although I’m not fan of this genre anymore it was very interesting to listen how it started and so on.. it was so honest, real and inspiring to hear this so thank you for what you’ve done and I wish you all the best! ❤️
Thats really awesome to know the story from your point of view. I´m a big fan since 2008 and met you in Schweinfurt at a Emmure Concert back in the days. Thats a moment I will never forget. And now since 2 years I started to play 7 strings with a Legator Jupiter. I love that guitar. And you inspired me for 7 strings guitars.
Emmure is one of my favorite bands so this was really cool to hear the story of everything. I remember seeing you guys on the WCAR tour and crushing it
So glad to hear that you guys eventually patched things up. I saw Emmure for the first time 2 weeks ago in Helsinki and it was one of the best shows I've ever experienced. Thank you for the music!
Truly one of the best, you deserve nothin but blessings going forward! Glad you’re on good terms with the band. Thanks for doing this RUclips thing, you’re definitely giving back to guys like me who need that insight. Looking forward to new material whether it’s Emmure related or not! Much love from VA🔥
That DVD, I still have it. That ending of it made me uncomfortable coz I did noticed whoa this is actual banter, didn't like it at the time, but i understand the dynamic with being around the bros alot. But my favorite album tho!!! It came out on my gf bday and I remember getting my package with the cd/dvd and shirt, got more merch after that for school, went to that mayhem fest to see you guys in Denver but unfortunately you guys n other bands didn't play the redrocks coz I didn't know there was a show for the side bands at a different venue/day, i loved that stage design you guys did. Eternal Enemies, my #1 favorite Emmure album, all bangers!!The Hang Up, Most Hated, NIA, New Age Rambler, We Were Just Kids, AND E!!!! Love that throwback to that limp bizkit reference!! Love you the work you guys did❤ its really awesome you and Frankie made admends 🔥🔥
Really enjoyed this series Jesse. Will always be a big Emmure fan, personal favorite from your time in the band (& all time) is Speaker of the Dead. But love all the albums, nothing else to say but thank you for the riffs and years of amazing music.
Having Frank Palmeri write a song about you is second only to having Taylor Swift write a song about you, so I think you made out pretty well😂 in all seriousness, really enjoyed watching this series and glad it ended on a positive note
So grateful for your hard work over the years Jesse, I remember seeing you guys as a kid multiple times and always left shows feeling inspired. I wouldn’t be writing music now without you and Emmure! Thanks!
Love it man. Your time in Emmure is definitely my favorite era of the band. Speaker of the dead came out when I was in high school and it brings back a lot of memories. Really helped shape my own guitar playing style and writing too. I still listen to solar flare homicide on the regular, that is a fucking jam. Anyways, awesome channel dude, wish you the best!
Hey man, thank you for doing this series. A lot of cool information and it's really heartwarming to hear that you and Frank are friends again. Fingers crossed the announcement is you rejoining! 🤘🏻
We played the same venue in Russia like a day before. Our singers were like "Yeah man, great show but our fucking lips got electrocuted all the time from the mics"🤣
great video once again! Please keep the videos coming! I'd love to hear about the amps / gear that was used to record each album / and or was used for touring. Also, it would be great to hear more about your life post Emmure.
My guy!! It’s so good to see you doing well after all this time..these videos were awesome man. Emmure was such an inspiring band for my life and I honestly wouldn’t be the person I am today if I didn’t buy that goodbye to the gallows album from FYE back in 2007. Changed my life! I’m in a band called Born Victims, check out our single Watch the World Burn on RUclips. Inspired by you so much man. Hope our paths cross someday bro, cheers!
Dude you need to keep this channel going. This shit is super interesting. Alao do like plugin reviews or something. Would be cool to get your views on modern gear.
It's so awesome to hear that you and Frankie are back on good terms! Do you enjoy the records with Josh Travis on them? What do you think of his guitar work?
I love hearing these stories. Do you remember vans warped tour in Atlanta when the tornado watch was going on? The sirens going off and you guys playing was insane 😂 2010 or 2011 I think.
Hope its new music in some form or another, your riffs are too good not to be heard! Would be awwsome if u got back in Emmure with Josh...both of you together would be 🔥
HELL YEAH, good ride, special announcment, tune in next week on monday night raw lol, thats how theyd get ya, DUDE PLEASE TAB PAINLESS - HUNGRY.... that song means something to me. and where the NY guitars???
