Love the stories and videos 🔥 it’s funny that The Acacia Strains Guitarist DL has also quoted that Blood has been shed was his hugest influence writing too 😂
really love the stuff you've been putting in this channel, but this kind of videos telling the story of one of my fav bands by an og member is something different, can't wait for part 2!
Cool to hear the early stories , would be so cool for you and Frankie to get back together and get you back into the band . If it doesn't happen no harm no foul would even love to see you and Frankie talk again
@@jessekjamz broooo!! That's sick ! Hope everything's going well!! You guys on stage the one time I saw Emmure before the split , idk why it was only once I saw Emmure once before then maybe jus too broke idk what happened, even in videos y'all jus vibed so well together ♥️👌🏻 Much love dude
Man, I remember playing with you guys over 15-20 years ago on Long Island before you all blew up! When we had The Downtown, village pub North & South and Molly Blooms 1&2!!! Sub for sure! Big fan!
You deserve more man you really do. Your riffs made emmure. Gave that kick to the throat that drop double z doesnt low isn't everything. Solar flare makes me wanna wash down my vertically eaten Doritos with my chewed water
Emmure should be praised for sticking their guns to their “ chug “ sound. I remember them getting alot of hate earlier on, but they managed to prove how impactful and lasting grooves and its not all about flashy stuff inorder to call itself a riff.
Nice story! I got that "complete guide to needlework" and some "Nine Eleven Zero Four" demo, they are nuts🎉 Still waiting for you to repair that white Ibanez and refinish it either in white or in silver. There are also some fishman fluence active pickups with silver cover, which would be nice on that guitar😅 And waiting for second part, of course😊
Remember watching you guys w/ All Shall Perish at Cordova Skatepark in TN. I think you were running through an 8x10 cabinet???? Shit was nice to hear standing on the coping of a vert ramp. We passed some blunts around w/ Big John and Mike from ASP after the show. Was my "senior trip" the year I graduated
You and Mike have influenced my guitar playing so much, and I've even modded my Ibanez RG's inspired by both of y'alls different LACS models. Can't wait to hear more of the history, love the channel, glad I found it!
Emmure is literally the combination of everything great Jesse just mentioned, including the addition of Jesse, tuning low, Meshuggah, Pantera, death metal, all of my favorite things, moshing..etc
This is why they've always been one of my favourite bands. They combined all the cool bits of different bands and subgenres that I liked. Groove metal, nu metal, deathcore, Deftones etc
Love hearing this story, man. Goodbye to the Gallows was definitely a musical plateau for me. There were a few bands that I had to kind... grow into. Shit that was "too heavy" at first: Tool, Korn, Overcome, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage... You guys were the first real death metal-influenced band that I absolutely loved, and Emmure is the main reason I ever got into the music I listen to now.
Emmure forever will be my fav band of all time! Your era in it was my favorite as well GTTG and respect issue were my 2 favorite albums, I also may be starting my band/project soon, the names in thw works are marciume and dealers choice
I would imagine you are going to through getting signed and each album you were a part of and all the bands achievements on each run ending with your decision (and the others guys) to leave Emmure. Nothing but respect dude! You've always been nice to me!
You guys really influenced many people around here in indonesia in metal/hardcore beatdown scene. Thank you for that! 🔥🔥🔥🫡 Are we gonna see you reunion with emmure soon? I hope so
Hey! I totally met you in South Haven IN at a festival like thing you guys headlined! I actually really loved you guys growing up and kinda would just go to your shows if I ever got the opportunity. I even showed out for the All Stars Tour! I got the drumsticks from that night and we even snuck into the back where the trailers were and yall signed our stuff. So just holding fond memories with yall!
Blood Has Been Shed lolol.... the amount of times I saw that band at the E-Bar in Worchester. I still have the OG Driven tape which was BHBS while still in Ohio before moving to CT. Now you got me thinking about fucking DeadEyesUnder, Groundzero, Die My Will and a bunch of that NE shit from the day...... fucking Red Tide too... band was nasty.
Emmure influenced so many modern bands and that is a fact. 0-0-0-0 forever. Waiting for part 2 🤘
Man, seeing you guys play roller rinks, skate parks, and comedy clubs in Utica was always a wild time.
Love the stories and videos 🔥 it’s funny that The Acacia Strains Guitarist DL has also quoted that Blood has been shed was his hugest influence writing too 😂
BHBS was IT. Just ahead of their time haha. DL is a good homie of mine and actually produced the “Painless” EP we did a few years back🎉
Thanks man.👍
Your riffs were such an inspiration for me. Love this series!
Dude the pics look killer on here that’s the shit bro fuck yeah!!!
As a fan of all eras of Emmure, thank you for this Jesse
Forever will remember watching Korn side stage with you in Noblesville, my Emmure claim to fame haha.

Can’t wait any wait to hear about your experience with victory, what happened between you and TAS and tour stories
Yes! The 2nd part will go into the next chapter of album 1 and 2 and pretty much up to the point where the brothers left the band🎉
Would love to know why they left the band and if everyone’s on good terms now
Good stuff old friend. Looking forward to the next episode

Epiccc!🎉
Let’s go heavier!!! Best advice ever!!!
Thank you for sharing your story with Emmure! Fan from Montreal, Canada
band truly worked their asses off in the early 00s like few others. bayside represent!
Really cool video dude! Gallows changed everything for me. I can’t wait to watch the other parts!
I saw you guys at Java Jazz in Houston in 2008 with Suicide Silence. One of the best shows I have ever been to.
Sound wave superior in the background!! I still listen to that song to this day
Throwback to seeing you guys playing a park shelter in a small town in West Virginia during the tour for Goodbye to the Gallows.
Love it bro!
Thank you for the series! Always was curious what was the other band members' perspective on why everyone except Franky decided to leave the band
So good! That’s awesome Jessie and ttdte helped you guys out. I love them 🤘🏽
Yes! I used to have to call Brad at the Mapco gas station he worked at to work out details. He used the work phone as his band booking phone ahha!
Exceptional video! I want a ten part series! I could listen all day!

Thank you tons! And that last sentence you said is everyything! 😂🎉
Really appreciate these kinda vids bro. I met you outside of the Hollywood Palladium over a decade ago. Time flies!
Watching now 🤘🏽❤️🤘🏽

Saw yall at my first Nashville show with The Handshake Murders back in like 06 i think. Shit was so sick! Pumped to see pt 2.
So awesome, thank you for sharing your stories. Hoping for more content like this! Big fan
Really cool to hear about the grind and everything it took to get things going before Goodbye to the Gallows!
This is so damn cool! I'm really glad you took your time and made these
Wow, don't expect such video😮❤
Been a fan since 2011 when I was in 6th grade, still a fan now. Thanks for all the videos you upload Jesse!

Thanks for making this! 🤘🏻
This is kinda cool. Hear about the beginning. You've had that white 7 string for a grip bro. I still have my 99 rg7620
Popcorn time!
What’s your collective top 10 emmure songs?! Not only just to play live but just to vibe to, lyrics wise, all around? Love to hear you answer Jess!
Suchhhh a hard question, it is almost like picking out “your favorite child” if you have multiple kids haha! I love most everything we ever wrote!🎉
oh hell yeah
Love the story content dude! Miss you!
Thanks and same to you papa!🎉
Thanks for the shoutout, bro. Those days were a lot of fun.

Where sorry for the late comment but do you by any chance still have the guitar with the Yankee logo in solar flare homi?

Did y’all ever play a show with Full Blown Chaos or Diecast?
Cool story of your band, Jesse. Do you have any musical project now?
Nothing really short of some riffs and mainly this channel. Dont have the time like I used to!
@@jessekjamz It would be great to see you back in action, greetings from fans from Russia 🤘
Whatever happened to that dude Panda that filled in on vocals for a bit back in the day?
He is still out and about doing his thing! Not sure what he is up to these days, but we got to catch up a few years after he was with us!🎉
