Red meat or fatty protein sources are not as bad as sugar and processed food. I do 16:8 intermittent fasting with a keto diet and my chronic psoriasis as cleared up 80% in a little over a year, i feel amazing. I recommend everyone cut a lot of dairy, gulten, sugar, and processed junk food out of your diet for a few months and see how you feel. I went from constant pain and covered in plaques all over my body to no medicine and no pain and mostly clear skin. I suffered for over 10 years, and my doctor never segusted diet. If this helps anyone share the info, and I'll pray you get through it, no one understands the suffering and shame you feel when psoriasis is bad. God tests those he loves to make you stronger! God bless 🙌 .

not only is fat not bad, but natural fat (animal fat,, olive oil) is extremely healthy, beneficial and necessary especially for the brain. on the other hand, hydrogenated fats, or cooking seed/vegetable oils are full of chemicals and high in omega 6 which leads to inflammation..

At 60 years of age when going through an incredibly stressful time I suddenly broke out with plaque psoriasis. I had to wait six weeks for an appointment with a dermatologist so I used the time to see what i might try in the meanwhile. I came across homeopathic sulphur and since it was cheap, accessible, and everything I read said homeopathy is safe I decided to try it. I took a low potency dose (30C) everyday for a couple of years and the psoriasis immediately began leaving in the reverse order that it had appeared and spread. Except for the very first, original spot. It just wouldn't completely leave. I finally gained enough experience with homeopathy that I realized I needed a higher potency and once I switched and took the higher potency (200C once a week) the last patch cleared up. I now take a higher potency (1M) maintenance dose once a month and remain completely clear ALL THE TIME and have been for years. I never saw the dermatologist, it had stopped getting worse before the appointment so I canceled and continued the sulphur. It was a slow, continuous improvement and took 8-10 months for everything (except the original spot) to heal.
I know different things can work - or not - for different people. I hope this is helpful and may whomever is reading this get the same relief I did.

Not drinking the whole day and endulging yourself in the evening is not healthy. Its better to not eat for a few days and drink water (or a vegatables fast). Drinking water the whole day gives your body the change to cleanse itself, especially kidneys etc. See Soera 3:3, soera 6:115.

I developed psoriasis on the bottom back of my scalp during college and had it for about 2-3 years. For completely separate reasons, I started intermittent fasting right after college, as well as eat more meat, protein and vegetables, and not as much alcohol. All of a sudden, my psoriasis cleared up, and I've been psoriasis free ever since. Im now 28. And it's crazy how many people have also cleared theirs just from diet.

I had psoriasis for 35 plus years. I was on Humira and then Enbrel for many many years. I did a 26 day fast and stopped using the Enbrel after the first week. It has been over three months now and I have zero psoriasis symptoms! After the fast I went to a very low carbohydrate diet, I do a 18:6 intermittent fast and a two day fast per week. I need to lose another 30 lb and once that is done I will drop the two day per week fast and see what happens. I also started supplementing with N-acetyl glucosamine which is supposed to keep the gut healthy. Psoriasis is not a skin disease it is a gut disease that shows up in the skin.

00:58 🚫 Avoid dairy, as high-fat dairy products can lead to inflammation, triggering psoriasis in some individuals.
02:24 🍔 Processed foods, containing refined ingredients and artificial substances, may increase inflammation and contribute to psoriasis flare-ups.
03:45 🍣 Include fatty fish (salmon, sardines) and healthy oils (olive, coconut) in your diet for anti-inflammatory omega-3s and fatty acids to combat psoriasis.
04:44 ⏲ Research suggests that intermittent fasting, specifically the 5:2 fasting method, can improve psoriasis symptoms, with participants reporting significant skin improvement, less scaling, and decreased itching.
05:10 🍽 Modified intermittent fasting involves restricting caloric intake for 2 days a week, leading to improved skin condition, weight loss, and increased energy for some psoriasis patients.

Over 25 years ago I had eczema and psoriasis. I started Food Combining for health (don't mix foods that fight) First thing to go was added sugar, fizzy drinks, colas, sweets and other added sugar. About 6 yrs ago i ate blue cheese and wheat croutons at a meal and it triggered roseacea on my face. Horrendous, and working on a hospital ward people are looking and wondering how you got it. It took me nearly a month for it to clear up completely. I ate mostly green vegetables, avocados, cut out gluten and dairy and it was gone.

It totally depends on person to person. Some people get it from dairy, some from gluten, some from red meat etc. It depends on the place you've been living at and the gut microbiome you've developed. I've cleared almost 80-90% of a big flare up by a vegetarian diet which includes millets, legumes, lentils, soya, fruits and some superfoods. Cashews, eggs, okra and cacao are some of the healthy foods which cause a flare up. These may not cause the flare up for others. You'll have to study your body. There's so much to it. One really needs a lot of guidance for treating it fully.

    • @joaomarcos2289
      @joaomarcos2289 2 месяца назад

Yes, everyone is different, but gluten, sugar, and dairy are well-established as common triggers for people with skin conditions. There is extensive literature showing the significant harm they can cause.
I understand that it can be difficult to live without these foods, and we often try to deceive ourselves into eating them again. If you are confident that these three foods are not harmful for you, consider doing some research on PubMed.
Nonetheless, according to your logic, what works for you is specific to you. Why are you giving details about your diet?
A vegetarian diet can still be very high in added sugar and processed foods; being vegetarian doesn’t mean it’s healthy, and it can sometimes be quite the opposite, to be honest.

Most people, as far as I know and from my own experience, that have an autoimmune disease are allergic to products that have been genetically manipulated, e.g. soy. I had an allergy test done after a doctor suggested I was allergic to dairy. I had switched to soy milk at his suggestion, but the results showed that I was not allergic to dairy (I never drank full milk, by the way) and that soy was my biggest allergy! It pays to have allergy tests done and to get multiple assessments, imo.

I feel 100 times better past 2 years yr. Dr Berg is autoimmune but he's taking 20k once a day and doing well. Need to drink water 2 liters per day, protects kidneys from forming kidney stones. That's 4 500 ml bottles a day. I quit all processed drinks and the water is perfect now. 50 yrs of diet Dr pepper, gone, no more. It's great Both doctors bring a lot to the table that msm continues to shove under rug.
Organic coconut oil is wonderful on skin, scalp and by mouth for decreasing inflammation, try it. 2 tablespoons a day 👍🙋‍♀️❤

Instead of bread whoke food store and Cotsco sells culiflower tortillas that are amazing and the eggs should only be organic from whole food store
There is also a trick to usw a glucometer and measure the sugar levels after eating ,separate tge food litlle by little until you find whuch one is aggressive to your body
The aggressive food increases the sugar level after consumption
This might take some time but it works
Look for Frank Suarez, the Puerto Rican Dr that was killed for talking about this things .He also has books that might be translated into English as well .
Good luck to all of you

If you check the world map showing where the highest levels of Psoriasis happen. It coincides with countries that eat processed foods and Homoginised dairy products. Countries that eat mostly fish, berries, fruit and vegetables with hardly any seed oils , grains, processed foods and no homoginsed milk have almost no psoriasis.
Seed oils are typically processed through two main stages: mechanical and chemical. In the mechanical stage, seeds are crushed or pressed to extract the oil, while the chemical stage involves using a solvent, such as hexane, to maximize oil extraction. Yeah all the oils that are used in fast food and most of the oils sold in store are made using chemicals like Hexane. Wonderful isn't it? Western countries also eat many other things that are banned in most countries.
    Banned Ingredients
    #1. Synthetic Food Dyes
#2. Dough Conditioners. (Store bought bread.)
#3. Propylparaben is used as a preservative in tortillas, muffins, trail mix, pies, sausage rolls, and more.
#4. BHA and BHT are popular man-made antioxidants used in dry mixes, cereals, and dehydrated potato products to preserve them and increase shelf life. They’re also found in product packaging. These are possible carcinogens and endocrine disruptors - meaning that they can alter the normal function of your hormones and lead to disease. BHA and BHT are banned for use in food and beverages by the United Kingdom, European Union, Japan, and other countries
#5. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) have been around since the 1980s. But they have become a controversial topic - and for good reason. While they’re widespread in the U.S. - with most U.S. soy, sugar beets, corn, canola, cotton, and alfalfa being GMO crops
#6. The arsenic-based drug roxarsone, was routinely used in chicken in the U.S. until July 2011, when Pfizer decided to stop selling it. However, there is no actual ban on the use of arsenic in the raising of chickens for food. Roxarsone was used to increase the pink coloring of raw chicken meat, to speed the growth of the birds before slaughter, and to prevent parasites in the chicken’s stomach. Research shows chronic exposure to arsenic can lead to anemia, skin lesions, kidney damage. It can also increase the risk for certain cancers, miscarriage, and birth defects
#7. In the U.S., ractopamine is a muscle enhancer for pigs, cows, and turkeys. And, like other harmful substances used during the raising of animals, it doesn’t just go away when the animal is slaughtered. Some of it is still left in the meat you buy. Ractopamine is banned in 122 countries including Russia, mainland China, Taiwan, and many countries across Europe. This is because it’s been linked to reproductive and cardiovascular damage in humans
#8. Herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides are widely used on crops in the U.S. food system to keep them free of bugs and diseases. Meanwhile, other countries see (and act on) the danger they pose to humans. Of the 374 active ingredients authorized for agricultural use in the U.S. in 2016, the European Union banned 72 of them
Olestra, or Olean, is a cholesterol-free fat substitute created by Procter & Gamble. The FDA approved it for use in foods in the 1990s and it’s still used in certain potato chips and french fries. But Olestra may cause extremely unpleasant digestive reactions, like diarrhea and leaky bowels. Consuming a lot of it can also lead to deficiencies in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K, as well as carotenoids.
#9. Synthetic hormones, such as rBGH and rBST, are widely used in the U.S. dairy industry. The primary reason for this is to increase milk production in dairy cows. However, rBGH increases IGF-1 levels in humans and may increase the risk of developing cancer. Additionally, cows treated with rBGH are more likely to develop mastitis, an udder infection, requiring treatment with antibiotics
All of these things surely affect us in many ways we cannot even imagine. Thanks so much FDA!

Often people experience flareups of skin conditions and other autoimmune conditions when beginning a fasting regimen as the body clears out toxins. Stay with it it is a very good message. Your body knows how to heal if you give it an opportunity and fasting is the best opportunity. Long-term fasting three or five or seven days or more is the most effective but breaking that fast is just as important as the fast itself. Any fool can fast but a wise person knows how to break the fast and how to consume what the body needs. Good luck

No. Insted find out the foods you are intolerant to, and avoid them (a citotoxic test would help). Plus, remove gluten and dairy. Also, substitute seed oils (like canola oil, sunflower oil...) with animal fat or coconut oil and olive oil, because the previous are very high in omega 6 which distorts the ratio omega 6: omega 3, plus they are extracted with chemicals.
Fish products, fatty grass fed meat are exellent to consume. As well as citrus fruits, becausr vitamine c strengthens the immune system and psoriasis is an autoimmune condition, and appears when the immune system is weak in people that have a predisposition.
Fermented foods are also excellent, just make sure they have no added sugar. A low carb diet, with no processed food helps you get a strong immune system. Finally, don't forget vitamin D.
