I know this is over a year old, but I love the colors in the string used for the thumbnail. Awesome combo.

Trevor just made flemish twist strings for both of my recurve bows. They look awesome, and they are 3 times quieter than before! They shoot better than ever!

    Interesting
Just got Chinese hermit x10 bow, great bow actually, not marked but suppose to be the new 62". String measures 59.5". Thinking about ordering a new string from you. Can't seem to find out what kind of string came on this new 62 inch hermit. D97? It does shoot good though.

I got a Falco Legend (68,5" @ 30#) and the serie string length is 163 cm so 64"
it's a dacron string, after 4 weeks the string is stabilised and has a good elasticity that allows me to shoot 33# @ 29,5"
it seems the work their string specially for the bow length, no surprise !

Trevor, thanks for making these videos and sharing information. I have read that AMO standards also include measuring all bowstrings at 100 lbs of tension. I make some strings for friends in my club and have been measuring that way, but have also found some strings not fitting properly according to AMO length. Do you measure under tension or at rest and use experience to tell you how much it'll stretch when braced? Thanks again.

You have to know how far your product stretches. This is dictated by style, strand count, and material used.

Talking about the Hoyt Satori incorrect length... Is the length problem in the riser or in the limbs?
