I'm not a fan of government regulations but sometimes you need rules regarding the width of the roads and the depth of the drainage ditches. Looks like that area is having a housing and tourist boom but the highways aren't prepared for the influx of all of the people. Take care! 👍

So occasionally things slip through the cracks. There is a valid tag somewhere. It just hasn't caught up to the vehicle.

I had no idea how much skill is needed for some of those complicated pulls where things are bottomed out or too far off the pad on one of the hideously steep lots. Mad skills!!!
Jeff, do you ever start using a trailer receiver and think to yourself "self, I hope is is a good quality OE part and not the unknown quality offshore cheap special found on some website..."
Most new vehicles have them if they don't have integrated tow hooks. The issue is you only really want to use them for a straight pull. You don't want to try lifting the car with them. Jeff's probably got the most common sized ones in one of his toolboxes because its far easier for him to have them then to have to unload the entire trunk of luggage to get to theirs.
I'm not surprised the rental was from Enterprise, as I've had the same experience. A Missouri state trooper was fascinated by the fact they'd allow it to happen. He let me go, but took down all the info for the rental office involved.
Rental car companies do that with tags all the time the tags are usually updated just the car lot attendant did not get to it before it was rented out to put the new ones on! but anyways keep up the great vids i enjoy chillin and watching!
Im glad I stumbled on this channel. I come to pigeon forge roughly 5-6 times a year staying ususally for a month total. Never had any problems with getting towed. Never had parking problems really.. Id pefer to pay a guy sitting at a lot not because of the parking issues so much but I feel like im paying for security to watch my car to.. If someone hits it, or breaks into it. I come down there to spend thousands whats 20 bucks to pay for someone to make sure my week or weekend of enjoyment isnt ruined by someone who decided to break a window out and steal something. Only time I come to Gatlinburg is for the aquarium. I think the scam thing comes from alot of bad towing companies getting blasted on the news.. People see that and feel like they are being scammed when this happens to them.

Double parked cars in the National park: If one car does it, then every other car will also do it. It does not matter if they know the people or not it’s called unintended consequences. It’s something that every child should learn. Guess he missed the boat on that one.
Watching that winch out for the white Audi, I remember my trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Outside the cities the views are amazing, but the roads are downright terrifying. I grew up near Philly, but spent a good amount of time driving around tight, hilly little roads like these. But nothing near as steep as what you all deal with. Good luck you guys.
I love watching your videos to hear the excuses these people come up with. It's hilarious. Gatlinburg does need to do a little better with their parking facilities. It would be better to have a parking garage just for the employees of all the businesses. I am 71 years old and have been going to Gatlinburg since I was 2 and it is amazing how that place and Pigeon Forge has grown. In the early 60's there might have been 15 stores back then. I can remember one had several trampolines stretched across a hole so you were at ground level. It was so much fun. Ya'll do a great job. Stay safe out there.

That's crazy, I have never seen paper temp tags on a rental. I recently rented a 2023 Mazda that only had 3 miles on it and it had metal regular plates.
I have a 19 year old daughter that has been able to park her own 99 Suburban responsibly since she was 16. We live in the National Forest and she has been traveling on her own and parking in strange cities for all of those years.

He shows no regret, no remorse, no guilt…nothing…when calling EA. And THEN says, “Well…I have to get it today! I have little kids in the park!” SO DO HALF THE OTHER PEOPLE THERE!!! For real! I can’t get over it!!! 🙁. No one should have to tell a licensed driver that you can’t park like that even if you know the people you’re blocking in! Obviously raising future generations of narcissistic people. BUT…as always, Jeff greets with politeness, a calm voice, a listening ear, and respect…👍
I drive on these east tn and sw va mountain roads everyday. The camera don't do justice on how steep and dangerous they really are. You guys are brave👍

FYI, most Audis have a screw in tow hook in the front and rear bumpers. The tow hook is located in the truck. Love your videos, you guys are Great!!!
