Shot between the hours of 6am and 830am (encompassing all 3 stopping Amtrak trains in the AM hour). Also my first time seeing in-person NJT's new PTC compliant train-sets (cab-loco-train-cab). Enjoy the action =) Авто/Мото
I love sunrise and Sunset in the winter in NJ and NY. Great video!!
15:14 is just an insane meet up
These new PTC-compliant sets make me laugh.
ok, what is the bell usage rule.
I wanna know too. We dont have any bells here.
The bell is to warn people that a train is coming onto the platform and people should stand back.
Mmm, ALP46 sandwiches
Turbocharged Rail Videos lol
4:25 I was going to pick my mom up on the day before it 2019 and I saw that train it was sooo weird
Ive never seen an Amtrak train stop at Princeton
Super video!
Nice video, Fan Railer!
I 💘 🚆😊 THANKYOU for Sharing ✌
Nice video. What’s with the Cab Car in the front then the Alp-46 and the rest of the train? Does it have to do with the new NJT 113 Bombardiers?
PTC compliance. A good number of locomotives are still unequipped. The fast majority cab cars are now equipped, hence this setup.
Oh
Wait did you see an acela train
Klasse Video und interessante Züge
12:41 I think this might be the first video I’ve seen of the Cardinal filmed on the Northeast Corridor portion of the route
Do u no what’s my favorite train. Nj transit!
Why do the NJT trains need to be PTC compliant? what is that anyways?
PTC stands for Positive Train Control. It basically acts as a safety device for train movements. At some point PTC will be a requirement on ALL trains. - goose3303
Nice aesthetics.
Quick question, why was the [what I believe is a] Keystone Service train at 14:47 running with 2 ACS-64s? I've never seen such a short train run with 2 locos, and at each end on top of it. Was it also for PTC compliances?
Toronto Transit Channel usually when there are two locomotives in a row on a consist, it means that the inner locomotive has control issues
Edit: I looked closely and the second locomotive is there because the CAB CAR in the rear of the train has control issues, not the loco
When they putting the Aem7s in service
Ummm they arent?
They aren’t lol what
Michael Jackson uhh, no they weren’t lol
What do the green/orange lights on the NJT bi-levels by the doors mean?
brake indication lights
Like to warn the other train that it is not moving
@@FanRailer am I correct?
Just curious, will there ever be an occasion for the single PTC-compliant cab car to also carry passengers, given how crowded certain trains are during rush hours?
Qian Liang they’d have to dedicate a conductor to just that one car. Not very economical.
9:30 Boom :)
Hmmm why did an Amtrak train stop here?
Some Amtrak trains stop at Princeton Junction and New Brunswick.
Hi there - I'm a producer with NJTV News, PBS for NJ. Could we use your video with an on-screen credit for our newscast this evening? Story is on an NJT/Amtrak plan to upgrade stations, including Princeton Junction. Thanks!

Hello
First time I saw this layout, I was really asking myself "WTF IS THIS?!".
