    Great video! I got a cab ride video on the Dinky back in 2000, but it was a rear-end ride....

    This uses ABB AC Traction motors which has the distinctive “whine” sound

    Were there used to be 2 tracks on the Princeton line? It looks like the caternary is set up for 2 but one 1 is there.

    At the very end of the video, it looks as though the train crashed into the blocker on the tracks. It slowed down and then, all of a sudden, the camera shook and it seems like it hit. Good thing it wasn't going 61 mph when it hit!

  • @TrainiacProductions
    @TrainiacProductions  15 лет назад +1

    Well it varies. This day it was 3 cars of Arrow III, I believe. Sometimes it's 1 car and others its 2 or 3.

  • @MadMotorman

    That is so sweet. Was it a single car or married set Arrow III?

    Is it safe to assume that this short line is partly funded by Princeton University?..I assume that cause Septa has a 15mile non electric extension off the Foxchase line into Newtown that seems to the center of arguement for a geographical area that would benefit from the reopening of the line but Septa is having problems believing it to be viable and profitable..

    Where is the "dead-mans control" on these things? It's obviously not in the controller handle as on the NYC subways.
