There are literally thousands of RUclips video clips which seem to prove that it's impossible to lift anything with a crane without totally destroying it and everything else within reach. I was holding my breath and...Congratulations! You did it!

@@MrPLC999 Huh, you make no sense. Of course cranes can successfully complete what they are tasked to do. And the operators are competent as well. Your comment is stupid.

When I retired 10 years ago I started watching various world cruising channels. Yours was definitely one of the first that re-ignited a passion I'd always felt a need to "go to sea" & undertake - since I was 9 years old. At 73 yrs and in failing health I'll never achieve that ambition however I take vicarious pleasure in watching the birth of your new dream start. Thanks immensely for the joy and pleasure it gives me.

Woo Hoo! What a flipping good time.
We do that stuff all the time in the shipyard. The only difference is that the parts we're flipping weigh in at 50 tons or more. I was a bit concerned to see the big crane set up perpendicular to the CL of the boat such that the boom on that crane would experience a force off to the side when the small crane began pulling the hull to the side. The big crane should have been set in front of the hull with the small crane at the rear such that there would be no radial force placed on the boom of the 60 ton crane.
Good job Y'all. I can't wait to see her in the water.
