Never will forget the day I was skating down a main road in my town home from Wal-Mart, when up rolls Chad muska in his Escalade. Gave me some words of encouragement but couldn't rly stop as it was a main road. Wish i would of stuck to skating back then but im not to old to still give it a go again just to enjoy it.
I had a friend who had those shoes and I had the Osiris D3's and I was like "my shoe is better!" And then he zipped the tongue open and he had won the day.🏆
The eS Muska was the first shoe I saw in a CCS catalog for over a hundred dollars. I was like damn these are for the real ballers & the stash pocket was a game changer
I've been wearing éS since I started skating in the early 2000's. They're the best skate shoes next to Lakai in my opinion. I have a pair of Tom Asta Accel Slims right now

Obviously the Koston's, Sal Barbier, etc., still the Muska and especially The Creager's ES shoes as well are legendary for the eS signature shoes. The Koston 2's are still probably at my time as a teen skating in 97' are my favorite shoe I skated from eS. Also the Circa Muska are also classic with all the great colors he had. Also that guy in Tasmania with the shelto style Muska his first prototype if he still has them is one lucky guy. The Muska is a LEGEND.

Muska was always my favorite skater. I owned a pair of those ès when they first came out. I'm still a fan and currently own three pairs of MUSKA 001's and two pairs of the Muska Skytop V's.

i was so happy with this shoes, i had a shop sponsor and in 2001 the shoop can't sell this pair of shoes because they are an ugly color (brown with yellow inserts) and the owner told me if i wear this shoes for skate, i said yes and i was so comfortable with this shoes on sk8, the only problem was that, when i jump from a higher haight the bottom of feat hurts so much, so the shoes was ab little big for me and i added an piece of foam under the sole and then the shoes was perfect, one of the best shoes i ever skate and the secret pocket was a must in early 2000, weed was ain't legal at that time :)))now i am old, for jumps, but i skate easy for my soul, i am sad because i can't skate anymore like i use to do. I always said that JOB IS A SKATE KILLER , damn i hate our system
The muska cm902 was my absolute favorite skate shoe. Maybe I just got better but I felt I was landing tricks way more consistently. I remember the felt like they were already broken in too. Awesome shoe.

Stash pocket saved my ass In Sweeny TX more than one time until a officer kids got them. I actually still remember kids name won't sell him out now but he is why South East Texas cops started checking all our shoes 😂. Trucks had gap so we took time to remove it hide in the little space of metal between Titan trucks. Later I discovered Dickie pants and good stitches between belt inside cut holes in area inside past mid pocket it is smooth around to other side wear ur belt not string. Flatent it out even when searched hard they ain't opening your pants. Pull the tied items out and be shocked amounts one can slide through entire wast bands . 90 early 00s never once caught . Grown man I still buy Dickie slacks always and can attest yes still never one time caught now hole in back side not on sides as kid we wanted to access quickly as adults more about even in booking wanted it to not be noticed. Chad is why we came cross idea 😂😁😉👍
I remember right after those shoes came out, I went to the super old ES warehouse when they were in Costa Mesa for one of their warehouse sales(which back in the day we’re the best,10$ shoes, 5$ shirts..amazing). Anyways, All I wanted was the Muskas. I got at least a dozen pairs of shoes that day for prob 100$ or less. God I miss those days..

His first e’s shoe you could fit a couple grams in the 1 tongue I don’t think there were stash pockets in both tongues. When he started designing the circa shoes you could put a quarter ounce in each shoes tongue.
In san Clemente ca they made his shoes. They would rip the tung out of the seconds and throw them away. We would go up there and grab bunches of them and stitch um back. Good times

The es Muska’s didn’t have a zipper, they had Velcro on the stash pocket, if I remember correctly. I think the Circa’s had zipper.

Tyrone Olson's Osiris shoe The C.U.T. (Chronic Under Tongue) came out before Muska's shoe and was the first skate shoe to have a stash pocket.
