- Welcome to my very first subsriber special for the Channel Ness in Pajamas!
100 subcribers is something I've never thought I would achieve in 2019 even with the headstart. For those who don't know, before I started my Evolution of Cars in Gran Turismo, I had somewhere around 40 subscribers. If you're wondering why I had this many even without videos that's because back in the day I was obsessed with commenting on RUclips. In particular Smash Bros, Gran Turismo, My Little Pony (yes I was a brony), and other content. But now my audience is expanding, and it's incredible to see. As I said multiple times, including this video, my plans for this channel go beyond Gran Turismo. The reason why I wanted to start with Gran Turismo is because I want to be known as that guy that talks about lots of video games but couldn't help but mention Gran Turismo in those videos. I think you can think of some Video Game youtubers that does the same thing with other video games.
Anyways, If I managed to get close to 200 subscribers, I'll be working on my top 20 list for Gran Turismo 2 cars, featuring the same rules as this video.

With FTO fully upgraded I won every top tier race - World Championship, 300k Grand Walley and 30lap R11
I have to say that the FTO is amazing for a front wheel drive. Another pretty underrated FF car is the 1991 Honda Prelude. I smoked the All Night II race with it.
I had a dodge viper in gt3, 80k credits circa, but it is a wonderful beast
It's especially great with how much you can tune it. It's probably one of the fastest cars in the game fully tuned! It's fantastic!
The delsol was my favourite. It was wicked fast.
My number 1 is also that Viper but in red. I love red.
Did you know that the RX-7 LM used the engine out of the 787B?
Check the specs if you don't believe me 😉
I do agree that the Viper GTS is an amazing car in GT1, not only being the best for doing the Normal Car Championship, but it is generally a good car all around.
My favorite car from GT1 is the RX-7 Type RZ. That car has phenomenal handling, and it is well balanced in terms of power.
You can replicate that build in GT7 as well.
I used the Nismo 400R for normal cup.
Found it better overall.
@@IIGrayfoxII I suggested the Viper, since the 400R can be difficult to obtain
@@Skarfar90 yeah golding IA license is not easy but easier than A.
I think the TVRs are significantly faster than the Viper in the Normal Car Championship. And, at least to me, even more fun.
FTO limeted edition.
TBH I love to watch gt2 gameplay with commentary while I work and watch gameplay with no commentary at night while I eat cereal cause it relaxing. I got recommended to all those gameplay/commentary mic with poop post after and tbh I’m all for it. It’s always nice to laugh my ass off till I poo myself
i like it that the mitsubishi gto is in the list of honorable mentions as well as the corvette grand sport. I picked the gto as my first starter car in all my playthroughs of gt1. yeah, its pricy as a used car with over 8.9k credits, but its worth every single credit and its quite decent to drive in too :)
sure the coupe impreza and the del sol LM edition are amazing but honestly go for any tvr, mistubishi (not the galant) and viper and you're good! but honestly I would rather pick the srt10 and the concept car over the gts. for the fto's I don't think the lm is overrated, you would just rather pick another one and that's fine the fto lm is incredible but I think I prefer the gto lm and the fto gpx (because it's hella cheap as a used car and it's an excellent FF car) also appreciate the fact you can buy a gto as a starter car. Mistubishi have the mirage, eclipse gt and the lancer's too so definitively my fav brand in the first game
I have actually been spending a ton of time experimenting with beating Gran Turismo games with as few cars as possible. In the case of the first game, all you need is a Lightweight FF, Western car, and a 4WD. There's a lot of intricacies for this type of challenge but to simplify, my favorite combo is the Honda EG Civic SIR II ( I severely underrated that car), Dodge Viper GTS, and basically any Impreza as long as it isn't the '94 WRX sedan. I recently did a playthrough with the Del Sol Si, Galant VR-4 (Nearly 800hp and very unique in this game being miscoded as an FF along with 3 other 4WDs), and Camaro 30th Anniversary. That's just the tip of the iceberg and I'm hoping to share this information at some point on this channel.
Also, this list is outdated. Much as I love the Del Sol LM it's no longer my favorite Honda, being replaced by the other Honda on this list.
@@Driff97 oh okay there is a second galant I didn't knew about, cool
you're right about the civic eg sII. I first thought it was like any ff hatchback, but actually this model of civic precisely can support a turbo and so it get more horsepower and that with lower cost than the other civic / hatchback like the mirage. definitively one the three best 10 000cr car (it is also the best c class car in arcade mode and is available right of the bat)
the del sol from '90 is pretty nice, not only it looks cooler than its more recent models but it's one of the cheaper car in fact I've got one for 4900cr. fully upgraded it has a better power to weight ratio than the other del sol
for the impreza both the sti II and III are my favorites. the first got a tad more hp than the other ones when fully upgraded and has lower price since it's a used car while you can win the latter as a prize and can be colored red with the racing mod
I get why you like this much the viper. it's rad, nice to pilot, allows you to race in the stock car event with ease and earn those pesos, it's like the best car in arcade mode and finally it's a FREAKIN WESTERN CAR YOOOOOHOOOOO
Favourite GT1 car? NSX type S-zero fully tuned in black racing livery.
good taste
Great acceleration due to FF layout? Back to physics class! ; )
Hey, regarding that '92 GTO you showed as an honourable mention...
Turbocharged of naturally aspirated? Because I recently found that the NA versions of the GTO's handle much better and are just more fun to drive.
Turbocharged. If I ever re-do my list I will most definitely place the GTO on there. It has grown so much over time for me.
I think '95 GTO Twin Turbo can reach over 800 or 900 bhp in this game, if I'm not mistaken.
@@albertusaswin2012 930hp@1231kg with body. 400+kph top speed and 0-400 test 8.5 sec. Best car for Megaspeed special event)
The dodge viper is one of my favorite car's in the game
GT2 stp taisan Viper! Even if, esthetically nothing compare the team oreca
Great passion, but the driving looks horrible. It's even hard to watch at times.
10: yes
9: fair
8: hmm
7. Yes!
6. Deffo yes! My favourite as a Blackpool boy! (TVR used to be based in Blackpool) TVR was a big name in Britain. Until some Russian bastard took it over
5. Fair play
4. I'd have picked the GPX. A car I loved so much, I ended up buying three of them. The FTO would be my number 1. Great handling, great character and personality and the looks.
3. OK but, I never liked Honda
2. Deffo top 10 maybe not that high
1. Ok... But, I have a problem with the Viper
I couldn't complete any races with it without spinning out violently
Throttle control is key for keeping the Viper in check. If playing with X and Square, always tap rapidly to bring traction to the car. I play with Analog sticks which allow me to have more refined control by finding the right position. You can easilly practice with it by time trialing one of the 4 IA Licenses that uses the Viper. For tuning a max power Viper, I recommend checking out TeaKanji's Ultimate Gran Turismo 1 Guide at around the 1 hour 7 minute mark. It's ultimately a very rewarding car once you understands it's quirks.
In general though, the Viper GTS was a car I instantly fell in love in Gran Turismo 1 with when I was like 2 or 3 years old, which is why it's my number 1. On top of all the other great things about it.
Thanks for the advice mate!
