Gran Turismo 3 Prize Car Grinding Part 2
Well, here it is. There wasn't a lot of requests for a part 2 but there was 1 from a very important figure in the GT community. So this video needed to happen.

Classic Tracks Assessment

A rather short video where I share my thoughts on each of the 3 classic Gran Turismo original tracks revamped in GT7. Going over my feelings towards the earlier iterations and the differences made in the new one. Hope you all enjoy!

Dodge Viper GTS Evolution in Gran Turismo
At that time I made it into the top 10 worldwide for this license. But then all Gran Turismo 7 rankings were deleted after an update. I spent a lot of attempts trying to get back to fourth place and I did it. Driving a Viper is just so much fun 😁
I wish I had the motivation to hot lap these tests again.
Polyphony literally had to make Special Stage Route 11 easier when it was brought back for GT3.
i think i played 90% of the game with an Audi TT
What if i want ALL Cars? Edit: Figured it out instantly - Complete it 4 TIMES until i get all of them
If you want to do it like that, go ahead. It's the way I used to do it. If you want to make the process a lot faster however, check out the followup video I did months later.
Have another sub bro, love the content. Hope you have a good weekend.
Thanks!
Nissan r391 which can be upgraded to 900 hp and mazda demio(sound)
Can you do the endurance races again to win a prize car ?
I'm sure you can. And in case it doesn't work, just save before you start the race. I'd say Endurance races are more for getting a good prize car early on regardless of what exactly it is than obtaining a specific car, as all of them can either be bought or won from other leagues. The only Endurance race I'd say is worth trying multiple times is Super Speedway. And even then it's only if you're doing a minimal car purchase challenge and you need the Renault Clio race car.
@@Driff97got it ! thanks !
I just got into playing this for the first time, hooked up the old ps2 & man… those license tests are so hard! But I do love the game, satisfyingly addicting & building up the garage. Great personal list btw! 😊
Cyucggggggggg Icy biu
TBH I love to watch gt2 gameplay with commentary while I work and watch gameplay with no commentary at night while I eat cereal cause it relaxing. I got recommended to all those gameplay/commentary mic with poop post after and tbh I’m all for it. It’s always nice to laugh my ass off till I poo myself
TVR Cerbera LM Edition
Great passion, but the driving looks horrible. It's even hard to watch at times.
Great acceleration due to FF layout? Back to physics class! ; )
I was able to skip 4 races in a 10 race championship. You just have to win the ones you don't skip. But yeah, awesome video!!
I mention this in the sequel video. This was just the way I always done it and I explain why there.
@@Driff97 I actually typed this before I watched part 2. I used to skip races just to get to the prize car, but I like to complete them all now to get a 100% win ratio, as well as more credits.
The Daihatsu Midget better be number one! :P
Can’t you add a little bit more HP? Or there is no tune to this challenge
Power is unlimited. The deciding factor is weight. I didn't do enough research as I forgot cars like the Dodge Concept Car and the TVRs.
I haven't seen a ton of people talk about this, but in GT3 you can tune the Mitsubishi 3000GT to a little over a thousand horsepower. I found this out as a kid and it became my main car. It's an absolute giant killer
gives me Big Rigs vibes
u are freaking weird vagon.
13:40 I feel the car very much, also one of my favorite cars
aston martin vanquish is the best sounding car in this game.
Sorry I'm super late! But thank you very much for your Shoutout about my channel! Interesting video from your side, and I appreciate the chosen soudtrack and the multiple-screens editing. Have fun with GT1, the Grandfather of them all!
i like it that the mitsubishi gto is in the list of honorable mentions as well as the corvette grand sport. I picked the gto as my first starter car in all my playthroughs of gt1. yeah, its pricy as a used car with over 8.9k credits, but its worth every single credit and its quite decent to drive in too :)
Beautiful ss route 🤣😂🤣😂
I remember doing this as a kid when i found out i could do it to get the formula one car on the speedway endurance tace so I could breeze through all the races. This GT gets pretty difficult especially in the professional races so this trick was basically a life saver for me as a kid to rack up credits. I just wanted to buy the cool cars anyways
How do you unlock Cote De Azur?
In Arcade mode? Go through every Single Race until you unlock it. You can keep track of what races you complete and the difficulty you beat them in by going to Clear Status. Also don't do them in Professional difficulty.
@@Driff97 ok thanks its one of the very last tracks left for me to unlock. What about Complex Strings in Arcade mode?
@@cameronb3834 It unlocks at the same time as Cote de Azur.
@@Driff97 Ok thanks
Have been loving your videos since getting back into GT1 - emulating on the steam deck! I was wondering exactly this question... but decided I’d prefer to do the whole thing anyway, I really enjoy the courses and prefer the variety to slight efficiency gain 🙂 thanks for answering my question anyway! 😂
RUF CTR2 SPORT = Pur Sound 🔊🎉
Wrong aspect ratio :(
Escudo is like cheat code for GT2 :D
The Dodge Viper is always going to be one of my favorite cars
The dodge viper is one of my favorite car's in the game
fucking RAW!
Fun fact: the STP Taisan Viper was actually a V8 powered Viper due to BTCC rules back when it raced in those events. Officials didn't like how it dominated the series including the Godzilla R32's and Porsche GT2 RTR's, so the official's forced a displacement change to hinder performance but that still failed 😁
As the one who still plays GT2, this video is hidden gem
The viper is my favorite car of all time too! So much so that I finally bought a real one!
One car I wish had returned was the Tommykaira R. The highest horsepower of any stock 4WD, could be tuned to 655 HP, and could even rally a little. It was my favorite car until I got the Silhouette.
I thought the skyline roulette sucked, but i tuned it and uhhh i happen to have moar grip.
Lil bro intentionally left off the Pennzoil GT-R. What a mad man. Lol jk, great vid! Tons of memories. Especially the cheat code at No. 1. After you got it, nothing mattered. Game was absolutely over.
This was one of the first games I have ever played. It is in my top 3 for sure. I remember saving up enough to buy the Dodge Viper GTS. That thing is a freaking cheat code of a car early game. Going from 400hp to over 800hp in one engine upgrade is just insane.
Raybrig NSX>>>
It happened to me after playing the 24 h of Nurburgring. Worst moment on my chilhood
This trick also works if you want to bring home ALL 4 cars from the championship, all you need is 4 memory cards. Here's how to do it : 1. After the penultimate race, save the game on all 4 memory card slots (you need to swap out memory cards as you go), then on the 1st memory card, bring home the most valuable car, then save the game under the 1st slot. 2. Load up the game on the 2nd memory card slot and bring home the 2nd car. Pro-tip : if you want to save up money in the main save file, buy every possible upgrade under the 2nd slot, then save under it. 3. Load the 1st slot again, then choose Trade in a garage, then choose 2nd memory card, and then choose the 2nd prize car you won there. And tada! Two prize cars in your garage! Repeat this process with your 3rd & 4th memory cards under the 2nd slot.
I mention this trick in this video right here. Check it. ruclips.net/video/bKVLtMBJpKU/видео.html
@@Driff97 I'll check it out, although it's easier to do this with PCSX2 as you can duplicate memory cards.
Test Course is bugged. Swaps 3rd and 4th all de time :p
R32 Is stupid. With only 300~ hp it dominates 500~hp event. That car handling is something else
Escudo gt 2 is best for both games.
The pink Yaris was definitely my favorite
"Ew! It's PINK!"
One of my surprises in GT3 was the TVR Tuscan, great handling and great muscle car feeling (also very easy on the tires). Previously I never cared much about TVR's which were having the rep of trying to kill you and looking like it was made of spare parts but this completely won me over. My least liked car of GT3 is perhaps the Lotus Elise Sports, no matter what I tried, no setup would ever make it not drive like it's on ice. I also don't like racing the F1 cars, mainly because you don't have tire options.
I had an easier time gravitating towards TVR as a GT1 vet, and the Tuscan is one of my favourite models from the brand. Fun fact, the Tuscan is the only car you need to win in GT2 for a one make race, but also one of only 2 cars you need to buy in GT3 if you're primarily using prize cars. I find that hilarious. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Elise either, it seems to have a fetish with the curbs. It's either that or the Audi TT for my least favorite car in the game. It does suck that you can't change tires for F1 cars, but they're still much faster than any other car and I find them fun to use.
@@Driff97 Yeah I only found out the Tuscan after I almost completed the game as I wanted to use only cars I won in the game but the Tuscan I had to buy in order to complete the race challenges.
man your pronunciation sucks
