    • @kiyoponnn
      @kiyoponnn 4 месяца назад

      you don't need to cycle it. It is naturally occuring in red meat and produced in your body. Just take 0.03 g/kg/day. You should only avoid it if you have kidney or liver disease or any other disease that gets worsened by it.

    • @SmolLiftsRich
      @SmolLiftsRich 4 месяца назад

      Why were you cycling off creatine anyway? There's no need to cycle it and cycling only causes you to lose the benefits of it while cycling off. You don't build tolerance to it like caffeine and it's not a steroid.

      You have to increase your water consumption compared to what you had before taking creatine. Creatine causes water retention in muscle cells so a part of your daily intake goes there, that's probably why you feel a bit dehydrated.

    One concern I do have about it is if you want to get off of it for whatever reason after being on it for a long period of time, how well does the body's natural creatine production bounce back

    • @user-id7oh9xl2o
      @user-id7oh9xl2o 7 месяцев назад

      You’re body doesn’t necessarily produce it on its own, creatine is stored in your body in another form produced by creatine from youre daily diet like red meats. Creatine powder is just concentrated to allow more of that storage in your body. Is an energy source essentially, it doesn’t just get created from your body. Like it does but if you didn’t have creatine in your diet to begin with you’d be stick skinny

      my results are likely a positive feedback loop of me exercising more regularly and the creatine for full clarity, but taking creatine made it a lot easier to not feel dead exercising so it helped a lot in that regard so if your having issues make sure you do both but i just did the normal 3 days of loading 20g (10g in 2 different doses to avoid stomach issues and waste), then 5g a day to maintain. this is the standard dosage for weightlifting which ive started doing, but i believe all the studies used the same regardless. but you deff need to exercise as well
      theres a bunch of different studies you can find.
      my main problem was that i knew what i needed to do but did have the drive and was tired and had the dark cloud kinda feel.
      seems like it blunted the mood swings from being bipolar which eliminated a large bit of the dark cloud feeling, literally gives your muscles more energy to make working out easier which is one of thebest antidepressants ever, and watever weirdly autistic mental block i had preventing me from doing the things i wanted to do is gone, which is letting me get stuff done, eliminating a large bit of anxiety.

      it increases it by a *significant* amount, one study found. Now consider what that actually means, because the results were *statistically* significant, but far from having any physiological effect. Many here say it thinned their hair, with no knowledge of if it actually did besides correlation and believing things they see on the internet more than they probably should

      @@justalonelypotetothe study had higher doses than most take but dht is likely increased anyway. Dht from what I've heard doesn't cause hairloss but can speed up the predisposed. Dht is also what causes teens Johnsons to grow so it is an important hormone

    I use it for weight lifting and for endurance (triathlon) training. In both cases it works well. But yes, I've got the impression that it dehydrates the gut that may lead to constipation. So I drink more when I take it.

    I have been taking creatine for about a month. I wasn't division one athlete so I trained all my life. I could only do about 60 push-ups at my peak. Now I'm 66 years old and now I can do 100 pushups straight. It works.

    • @RB-oc7ti
      @RB-oc7ti 2 месяца назад +1

      A proper pushup isn’t fast. If you’re going fast - you’re not getting near the workout or benefit of the pushup.
      3 to 4 seconds down touching chest (not stomach or worse -nothing at all) and under control; 1 second up to full extension. You’ll find you won’t get near 100 in a row (nor near 60!); but, you will work harder and get many more muscle gains and be safe while doing so!

      you don’t need to buy there’s a lot of benefits like, increase in muscle mass, and boost in strength, because it allows water to easily flow to the muscles which can help the recovery process, no you can’t be deficient, your body naturally makes it but not enough to get all the benefits of creatine

    Tip: although monohydrate is the best, do opt into taking the micronized one so that it doesnt sit at the bottom and is much easier to mix.
