One thing he left out was how she tried to let him go after she choked him. She helped revive him, but he didn’t leave and insisted on attacking her again. So she then choked him out again until he was dead.

He may not have known she could. She trained for craziness at work, nurses are often abused by patients and families. He may not have realized how much she could defend herself. And hey, nurses are also trained in anatomy and especially effects of airway patency and blood flow. We know where all the good parts are.
