Hi Mighty Marce, thank you for your comment. One issue may be the luminance of your monitor. I would try lowering the luminance to somewhere between 90 and 100 candela. If you have an i1 or Calibrate device, then that is the best solution. We sell those if you're interested.

is it not possible to rotate my image with EPL? ie to print the long side of my image to fit the width of the printer?
There is a landscape or portrait option that should rotate the image for you.
