Hi Terry. We've had 2 demo units to date and have sold a good amount of both p7570 and p9570. Very solid so far, especially in terms of nozzle reliability. We've had 1 customer with what I would call a lemon, but it has since been rectified by Epson. My only real complaint so far would be how the Epson Media Installer software works and integrates with the printer. If you have one computer, 1 printer fine. But when you have one or more printers and computers printing to these, then you have to manually update every local workstation to stay current with new media types. Wish it would automatically push the updates to all computers/drivers.

In the owners manual it says not to tip the unit more than 10 degrees after the ink cartridges are installed to avoid spilling any ink. I have to get this down some stairs to my studio, can I tilt it more than 10 deg without any ink installed?

Sorry for the delay Don. Yes, you can tilt it more than 10 degrees if there is no ink at all installed in the system including in the plumbing. Meaning, you haven't done the initial ink installation.

How do you determine ink usage in ml per print. I could do it on my old printer but don't see a way on the P7570.

Hi Don. Are you Mac or Windows based? If you are Windows, there is a software Utility that you can download from Epson called the LFP Accounting Tool. You can access it from the Support tab of our product page here. www.dtgweb.com/epson-surecolor-p7570-standard-edition-printer-1.html Unfortunately, if you're Mac based there is no such tool.
Generally speaking, I tell our customers that in a typical "heavy coverage, dark image", the printer will use around 1.5ml of ink total per square foot of printing. This is generally on the high side but I like to play it safe from a cost stand point.

@@dtgweb Thanks! I do have Windows so I'll give that a try. I generally I only print my own work but wanted to help out some other artists in my area.
