I’m having issues with my CarPlay on tlink5. It connects with other iphones, but for my iPhone it just says on “connecting please wait” and never connects.
Do you have any suggestions or advice to help? Thank you.

Thank you!!! I had been out of the country and had VPN on. When I turned it off it started back working perfectly.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro with 16.1 iOS. It won't even recognize my car's infotainment system. My car connects as an iPod?! Nothing works! Is this an iOS problem or my car's firmware?

Tried every one of those steps and more multiple times. Still won’t work. Phone says I’m connected to my bmw on Bluetooth and bmw will say my phones connected but car play won’t load up. Says “failed to connect” won’t let me use idrive either. And on top of that, won’t play music through usb cable either. Have disconnected/ reconnected 10+ times over the last few days. Beyond infuriating that I can’t get my IPhone 14 to connect to my 2021 bmw and I’ve tried every troubleshoot and then some. Must be my cars internals.? Very annoying.

tried all of these - my phone gets detected when it is plugged in via usb to the hub - but wont launch carplay. tried all settings and new cables etc, any idea?

I follow all the step but it still doesn't work until I turn on wifi hotspot on my car set and then connect the iPhone to the wifi of the car set , then suddenly it work like a charm! But it is still a mystery why CarPlay need wifi connected to the car set wifi hotspot.

None worked for me :( carplay works on my iphone 11, but it wont work on my iphone 12 pro max. Do u guys have any idea?

Disable VPN - forget, delete and reset car headunit and phone.

Turnin off the VPN worked for me 👍
