Great advice! Another solution for Honda Civics: just hold the audio power button until the message asking to “reboot” comes on the screen and click yes. The screen will go dark for a min or two and then take another min or two to restart. Solved my apple car play issue without having to do a complete factory reset (my issue was that it wouldn’t connect to my phone even though the cable was charging my phone). Hope this helps others.

Yesenia Cruz no I am using a Walmart cable. Nope you don’t have to I just did it to test the back up camera to see if something else got fixed. But this will fix your apple CarPlay issues and android auto.

My 2019 Accord wouldn't recognize two iPhones. I called Honda Support and the rep walked me through a system reset. Very similar to this video, except I had to enter a code to enable the radio. The rep was able to give me the code, which I wrote down for the future.

It is possible that you have so much in the list. When there is so many phones added it won’t let you add yours. Try to delete from that list ;)

Put the volume up, is the same as your phone. Normal volume and ringer volume. But it is possible that your maps volume got muted
