    Tertiary bronchi( or segmental bronchi) is 10 on right and 8 on left. I think you have written double the actual number. And primitive alveoli (terminal sac) formation occur in saccular stage not in canalicular stage, though some of it gets formed due to slight overlapping of stages in time line.

      @@premsuresh9466 Nope they aren't. They're formed at the embryologic stage for the rest of the life even if of course you could have some variatiions due to maflromation of the lungs but for most people it's always the same :) ( I personally learnt at med school that there was 10 on right and 9 on left)
