English person here. All these small things are one the big reasons why Europeans are often sad because we lack interpersonal connections. If you visit Africa, Latin America and parts of Asia my goodness these people know how to have small talk and connect and they'll ask about all your family about your life they'll be deeply interested in what you say and will tell you everything there is about them and their life. There's this country in Africa it's normal for people to say goodbye to each other until they stop hearing each others voice. It often goes like Goodbye See you soon I'll miss you Greet everyone Tell everyone I'll see them soon I'll come around again I'll tell so and so I saw you and you're well I mean they'll keep going until they stop hearing each other. It was soo good to see
When I was in Europe, I can easily identify if a person is from europe or from other continent. If a stranger small talked to me, that is at least an American, Canadian or Latin American. If he/ she is minding his/ her own business, the person is a European. 😅
I was married to a Ukrainian and he was very straight to the point, often times cold, never sugar coat anything type of culture. It’s very different and hard to get used to. We divorced eventually but wow what an experience it was
I had a Ukrainian English teacher in high school and man, yeah that lady was pretty cold and direct. She came around eventually and by the end of my high school years she wrote me a warm goodbye in my year book.
It’s true. Hispanics will say “goodbye hope to see you soon, we’ll chat next weekend” then after a year we’ll see that person again and say something like “oh you never call, it was nice seeing you, hopefully we hang out soon”. lol. It’s just nice to be nice you know
European here. We aren't really developed. Just arrogant. We think we are the best and preach values to everyone, even if they didn't ask for our opinion.
When he says that people in Mexico are slower, I think he refers to the upper class of Mexico because the lower middle class is one of the people who work the most in the world

You can always go back to your country asap…I can take you to the airport myself. FYI, you don’t get culture shock when you visit another country, it’s you the one that needs to adapt and learn another culture not the other way around.

I wouldn't agree with what she said about "being slow". I work with people from around the world daily, moslty from spain and USA, and no offense to anyone, but I must say that the laziest people I've worked with are from USA. If they say they have a dr appointment in the morning, they take the rest of the day just to do that, and the next 2 days to recover.

But marks already said it
Alina seems very disconnected from the things that make her human.
From the answers it is clear the guy already had a local girlfriend.
😂😂

Sounds like she should move back.

Mexico has a higher living standard than Russia, so either call Russia a Third World country, we it really is, or call Mexico the first world.
Russia only has a slightly larger economy than Mexico.
Russia and Mexico are practically the same in terms kf development

Slow in IQ and how they process information to do work. It is a major cultural difference and Hispanics need to work on it

Uy, los del norte somos un "poquito" mas secos pero de todos modos somos así. Pero si eso le molesta, creo que México no es el mejor lugar para ella.
