I’m a Chinese Singaporean living in London, Great Britain and my Ukrainian girlfriend is from New York City (her ancestors originally from Lviv). Southern Ukrainians are Ugly due to having darker hair whilst Northern Ukrainian women are cute like my girlfriend for example.

Learn some Ukrainian or Russian before you go as most do not speak English. Depends on your language skills, but I speak 3 languages, I can accurately guess what they are saying from the tone of their voice or their eyes. You will get confused, and laugh about it, but that is part of the fun.

sometimes RUclips looks like the gateway to Heaven especially when you are looking for a new lifestyle and love I get a Myers how much information you can get off RUclips garden and of course directions think about life in general I know it's not all about me it can be all about giving take and also I try to think with my mind not just my heart a lot just use my eyes it can be quite easy to make a big mistake I am not a rich man and I'm also not a problem I have a wealth of experiences of the world and life in general when I come to the Ukraine hopefully I will need someone special who would be the right person for me my intentions are to be in the Ukraine for a couple of weeks or couple of months just to see how it works in general I will give my divided attention to the person I need if possible right now I don't expect too much
Tanya glad your expert on this subject. Single men should go on a vacation meet Single Women and go out to dinner. If they enjoy their time repeat the cycle. If things work out I'm sure the details will work out in the end. If Ukraine Women come to the States as refuges then they got the whole country to find a Man. At the same time Americans men can join the Ukraine Army and on their two days off just date. 😃

Okay, this is my situation right now. Just matched with a ukrainian women on a dating site, I wished........... I have read this thread cause clearly this is next level for me and for sure something I have 0 clues about haha. But somehow I made a good impression on her? Conversation was good so I felt comfortable in asking her if she'd like to meet in person amd get to know each other more, she said yes she would love to meet. We are both in Canada not the same city, about 1.5 hr away. She asked about my occupation and I answered honestly amongst my other interests, she doesn't drink to which by some miracle it's good seeing as how I am 39 days sober and counting. She used words like "good for you, you have identity" so because I'm clearly no used to speaking to a women like her and I thought I was doing good you know getting her to agree to meet in person, she definitely used the word date during our convo, so in an effort to building chemistry prior to our first hang out I asked if she'd be interested in a video chat you know to build to that chemistry i mentioned. I can see that this didn't translate how I intended because she says next "so for you matters more how I look" you know to which I replied of course not, and then she replies "🤣 👍 nice try" I said I've honestly been enjoying our conversation to which she replies "okay, but now you are on risk like" phew... i guess she's still giving me a shot ? But now I have 0 room for error 😭. So im looking for help here, what can I suggest we do for first meet, how to greet, what to bring, where to take, topics of conversation etc. I am really interested and based on everything I've been reading there is a mutual interest otherwise I have no doubts she would have unmatched me by now if she didn't like how we been chatting. Also should I reply back that I hope I didn't offend her witht eh video chat suggestion and try to steer the conversation a different route
It's been 2 months since your post. My answer immediately would have been to agree that yes you must have a videochat before going any further. Hopefully it went well for you.
The last Ukrainian woman I matched with and communicated for a week or 2 began to ask very personal questions about how many women I was chatting with. I know they are jealous, but I finally insisted on a call so as not to waste more time. She was in Edmonton. She didn't agree but finally sent a couple "recent" pictures. My god, she was like 65 years old. Not the pictures of her at 35 on her profile.
I felt the right to just ghost her in that case since she was so deceptive yet asked so many personal questions of me. Don't get overly excited is my advice! Remain cautious and realistic.
