- Discover the transformative power of Epsom salt in enhancing your sleep quality and overall well-being. Epsom salt, rich in magnesium, plays a crucial role in promoting relaxation and reducing stress levels, which are essential factors for a restful night's sleep. When dissolved in warm water, Epsom salt is absorbed through the skin, replenishing magnesium levels in the body and aiding in the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone. This natural remedy not only calms the nervous system but also helps to soothe sore muscles and alleviate tension, creating the perfect conditions for a deep and rejuvenating sleep experience. Embrace the therapeutic benefits of Epsom salt and unlock a pathway to a more peaceful and revitalizing night's rest.

I had very severe muscle pain ,muscle knots I was offered pain medications anti inflammatory medication they destroyed my stomach and my health BUT not once did any physicians tell me I about magnesium…..started doing my own research on natural help and found out how important magnesium is for your body ….what a difference it made for me!
I broke several bones in a car accident. I can’t take narcotics because even with anti nausea meds, narcotics give me projectile vomiting. My body simply will not tolerate them. One of the things I used for the terrible pain of not only the broken bones but the massive tissue damage as well was magnesium gel. It helped a lot. I couldn’t have gotten into or out of a tub but simply rubbing the gel on my fracture sites and tissue damage areas helped relieve my pain. I get the gel at the health food store but I’m sure it’s available by ordering online.
@@wolfling2039I have a broken rib on left side, upper chest area. It's been going on for maybe 7 weeks. I can't find any comfortable position to sleep in. Had very little sleep since it happened. I went to a chiropractor for lower back pain. Chiropractor told me to turn over and lay on my back and the chiropractor pushed real hard on my chest. And broke my rib. That was the 3rd visit. I had to go to ER got 4 x-rays and a CT scan. I'm still in pain. Hurts to twist or to even pick up something. I can't thank you enough for sharing your story. I need to find the magnesium cream somewhere. I was meant to read your post. Again, Thank you for sharing your story 🇺🇸 👍⭐️

Hello! What does this have to do with the subject of the video? Maybe I missed something.
Did not know that taking tons of vitamin D without magnesium is wasting vitamin D. Always learning good stuff, here! Thanks Doc!
Vitamin D3 K2 goes together and then you can take your magnesium .
You're a star, keep shining bright!
I've tried it, it works! Sleep well everyone 💞
I had to give up taking sleeping pills after years of doing it and it had a horrible time sleeping, but when I found out about taking 400mg of magnesium glycinate and eating a little bit of carbohydrates before bed, like a bowl of oatmeal..that’s worked for me I've been sleeping fantastic, so thank you Doc❣️
What really helps me is a 🥄 of Himalayan salt with honey. 😊
This is very true. Add an equal amount of baking soda which is a good detox. Thanks Dr Mandell ❤
Are u saying add baking soda to the water for the bath soak?

@@CookingOfBacheloradd it to the bath with the Epsom salts. Sleep well 😊
I discovered fir my self that taken warm shower before bed is way better than in the morning it relaxes you for better sleep and you don’t have to take another one after waking up up. 😊
You might need to take another shower in the morning if you are like my ex who had night sweats
@@kathyverrelli5170 lucky me I am not like your ex
You’d benefit taking an epsom salt bath rather than a shower.
Even my dog wanted to watch this video Awe 😍

*Always relax before going to bed, no watching TV, etcc* .
*What I do, just relax in a quiet, room and think of nothing. mediation would be good too* .
I don't think that you mean mediation.

Honestly worked for me for awhile for sleep but no longer helps at all🤷♀️ would love to understand why magnesium no longer helps
Same here. Magnesium glycinate doesn't help me relax either 😂I read so many comments from people about taking magnesium glycinate but it doesn't do much as for others 😢
Citrate would be better digest it easier on the stomach. Try 2 days off your sleep patterns msy improve
And good for people with arthritis take a bath suprise how much pain it takes away very good advise Dr Mandell 🇨🇦🙏🏼
Two weeks ago i felt down the stairs , five steps , I fractured my sacrum bone, first week I was crying in the pain day and nights, I couldn’t find the position to rest my body , sleeping on my bed was a nightmare, the next day we threw away our 0 comfortable sofa” and got. New recliner set, same I was able to adjust the position which was comfortable for me , second my boyfriend got me lavender Epson salts , and donut pillow, I soaked in my bathtub in the middle in the morning and before going to bed for 40 minutes helped more then painkillers. This is my third week starting an it takes about 4-6 weeks of recovery. The Epson salts also worked good for my bruise’s. I would like to ask You, the doctor what else you would suggest and recommend me for better recovery. Thank you very much for All your videos, they are priceless!😊
Thanks dr
You are the best,Dr. Mandell. God bless you and heal you and your family and favor you. In Jesus's Name. Amen ❤CeCe

Does the type of magnesium matter? I've noticed mag sulfate helps me better than glycinate or citrate.
Would magnesium supplements have the same effect?

Nice if one has a tub. Beneficial
I can't get in atub anymore
But putting it in the tub while
In the shower helps. Or foot soke.

Ok, let’s see. Epsom salt aids in the development of certain home-grown vegetables, and now we learn it’s just about good for anything: sleep, bathing, on and on. Wow.

My question too
Get a couple of 5 gallon buckets. Fill up and put as much of your legs in as possible. Will be better then just your feet.
Dr i know this is a diffetent yopic take the opprotunity to ask you to talk on KIDNEY PROBLEMS AND HOW ONE CAN BRING IT BACK TO NORMAL

How are you supposed to take epsom salt? Can you drink it?
No. If you want to take it orally then pop a magnesium pill. Research which one is better for you because there a several kinds of magnesium.
@@blobmonster9494Magnesium Glycinate seems best for this.
Epson salts the non-scented kind I believe has on the label that you can make a liquid to drink it but it is intended to help with bowel movements. Not the best option for relaxing before bed.
Best for tub soak, foot soak. Magnesium supplement before bed should help.
Melatonin helps with sleep as well as Valerian Root or ashwaganda.
